Abstract

Basically, financial service institution in a form of micro financial institution (MFI) is strongly needed to support the rural economic development especially as an institution to facilitate the farming business cost. This is caused by the fact that most of farmers face the technology adoption since it is weak in capital budget. This condition happens on the cabbage farmers who is facing the eruption of Bromo Mountain in Sukapura District, Probolinggo Regency. The aims of this research are to investigate the conception of potatoes farm (cost, supply, benefits and R/C) factors that influence the vegetables farm productivity in Sukapura, dan the role of microfinance on farm. The research was conducted in Ngadisari and Ngadirejo with purposive sampling method. Data which is obtained from the research is analyzed using R/C and Cobb-Douglass function. The results show that potatoes farm is beneficial with R/C value >1, the vegetables production are influenced by seeds, land area, biofertilizer, labor, perticides and microfinance have significant role on helping the farm.

Abstract

This search is motivated that one of the food plants that can be used as supplement of rice and flour is taro. Indonesian people do not yet understand the benefits of taro and how to process it so that it has a sale value. One of the industrial houses that produce taro chips is the industrial house CV. Jessi Muji Jaya. The home industry is taking advantage of this opportunity to develop the taro business. The purpose of this study is to determine internal factors, external factors that support business development and to find all the business development strategies in the home industry CV. Jessi Muji Jaya. The method of data analysis using SWOT analysis is the analyzing the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix and SWOT matrix. The results showed the main strength factor is the product has got a PIRT number. The main weakness factor is the price is more expensive than competitors and the supply of raw materials is reduced. The main opportunity factor is the existence of a food safety policy for a product. The main threat factor is rising raw material cost. Alternative strategies from the results of the IE matrix are guard and defense strategies, avoiding sales and profits. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa salah satu tanaman pangan yang dapat digunakan sebagai suplemen beras dan terigu yaitu talas. Masyarakat Indonesia belum memahami tentang manfaat talas dan bagaimana cara mengolahnya sehingga memiliki nilai jual. Salah satu rumah industri yang memproduksi keripik talas adalah rumah industri CV Jessi Muji Jaya. Rumah industri tersebut memanfaatkan peluang ini untuk mengembangkan bisnis talas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui faktor internal, faktor eksternal yang mendukung pengembangan usaha dan untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan usaha pada rumah industri CV. Jessi Muji Jaya. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT yaitu menganalisis matriks IFE, matriks EFE, matriks IE dan matriks SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor kekuatan utama yaitu produk sudah mendapat nomor PIRT. Faktor kelemahan utama adalah harga lebih mahal dibandingkan pesaing dan persediaan bahan baku berkurang. Faktor peluang utama adalah adanya kebijakan keamanan pangan suatu produk. Faktor ancaman utama adalah biaya bahan baku meningkat. Alternatif strategi dari hasil matriks IE yaitu strategi jasa dan pertahanan, menghindari penjualan dan keuntungan.

Abstract

One of the essential elements of a successful business is a marketing strategy. This study aims to obtain evidence that field studies of business marketing strategies in 2002 will continue. To answer this question, we have successfully obtained a series of data and information searches electronically on several publication databases in academic scientific publications, books, and media websites that discuss marketing issues and predictions in 2022. These data are meaningless to this research without a review. An in-depth study involves a data coding system for interpreting digest data to answer the questions of this study. We focus on this literature search for publications between 2010 and 2022, considering that this period was one of the most intense periods of technological and information changes related to how businesses responded to these developments to promote their business. With the results of the study and discussion of the data findings, we can finally conclude that the understanding of business marketing strategies that will continue in 2022 is the use of the latest technological means, including artificial intelligence social media, and a number of the latest applications where it is proven that the application data is very relevant for marketing all products and services.

Abstract

Saat ini semakin sedikit orang (generasi muda) yang tertarik untuk bekerja di sektor pertanian, sehingga perlu ada perubahan paradigma melalui penyadaran generasi muda pertanian tentang ketahanan pangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal terhadap persepsi generasi muda pertanian tentang ketahanan pangan dan pemilihan usahatani tanaman pangan. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik stratified random sampling sebesar 100 orang generasi muda pertanian di Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Malang, yang terdiri dari 30 taruna bumi, 30 taruna tani dan 40 petani muda. Data dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modelling teknik Partial Least Squares. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal generasi muda pertanian berpengaruh siginifikan terhadap persepsi generasi muda pertanian tentang ketahanan pangan. Persepsi generasi muda ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemilihan usahatani tanaman pangan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze structure, conduct and performance of marketing of onion at Probolinggo to measure market efficiency. Data analysis use structure, conduct, performance approach and regression methods. The analysis of market structure showed that market structure of onions moving between olygopsoni to perfect competition market, and there are not entry/exit barriers for new comer and so does no differentiation of product. Based on Kr, IH, CR4 and market share indicator, no one of traders can monopolize the market. Commodity flow analysis shows there at least eight kinds of marketing channels to distribute product from farmers to consumers. Market conduct analysis shows that pricing process based on individual negotiations no formal institution to control the market and no significant competition among traders. Market performance analysis shows that marketing cost, margin and marketing profit varies among traders and channels. Share of price of farmer relatively high. Price change of consumers transmitted to price change of producers correctly, producers market and consumers market has been integrated with reference market. According to market structure, conduct and market performance, we saw the marketing system not yet efficient

Abstract

Plantation sub-sector is part of the agricultural sector which acts as one of the country's foreign exchange-earners, producer of consumption materials, producers of raw materials for industry, employment providers and encourages agribusiness and supports environmental conservation. The role of plantations is increasing along with the creation of resilient agriculture by utilizing natural resources optimally supported by quality human resources. In this study, the analytical method used is multiple regression analysis models with the help of the SPSS program (for Windows version 25.0). The results showed that the Land Area X1 variable was at a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05). Then it means (0.033 0.005) which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is received by the land area and has a significant positive effect on coffee production in Dampit Subdistrict, Labor an X2 significance level of 95% (α = 0.05. Then 0.246 0.05, which means H0 is received and Ha is rejected, then labor has a positive but not significant effect on coffee production in Dampit Sub-district. Superior seedlings at X3 are 95% significance level (α = 0.05. Then 0,000 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so superior seedlings have a significant positive effect on coffee production in Dampit District, Fertilizer X4 at a significance level of 95% (α = 0.05. then 0.005 0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted) Fertilizers have a significant positive effect on coffee production in Dampit District. Pesticides at X5 at a significance level of 95 % (α = 0.05. So that means (0.927 0.05) which means that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected then pesticides have a positive but not significant effect on coffee production in Dampit District.

Abstract

This research was aimed to recognize determinant factors influencing rice demand behaviour, income elasticity number, its price elasticity, cross price elasticity and rice demand number in East Java which are needed in incoming ten years. This research used secondary time series data during 32 years, starting from 1971 until 2002. The data was processed and analyzed with Houthakker-Taylor dynamic demand behavior analysis and conventional models. In the meantime rice demand projection was predicted by a technique developed by Ferris (1998). Analysis of results showed that the partial factors influencing toward rice demand in East Java were rice price of delta, corn price, corn price of delta, cassava price of delta, flour price of delta, inhabitants’ number of delta, income per capita of delta, and rice demand of lag. Houthakker-Taylor model is better than conventional model used for analyzing rice demand in East Java

Abstract

After the eruption of Mount Bromo led to a decline in the area planted vegetables decrease thein come of the people in the area. The intervention of Micro finance Institutions (MFIs) as a financial intermediary which aims to provide easier access to credit for low-income farmers vegetable or vegetable growers after the eruption of Mount Bromo that do not have access to commercial banks, is expected to increase farm production scallion, after Bromo Mountain eruption there are. The aims of this research are to investigate the conception of potatoes farm (cost, supply, benefits and R/C) factors that influence the vegetables farm productivity in Sukapura, and the role of micro finance on farm. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to determine : (1) the marketing channel that efficient scallion cultivation ; (2) institutional in scallion cultivation and its role in the marketing of scallion cultivaion ; (3) To know the scallion farmers' bargaining position ; (4) determine institutional strengthening strategy and its relationship with the scallion growers bargaining scallion farmers . The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method of analysis . The research results show : there are 4 chain marketing channels of scallion in Probolinggo district , and VI channel is the most efficient channel ; There are two agricultural institutions in the location of research , namely cooperatives and farmer groups that have a role on the marketing of scallion ; Bargaining position of farmers in the location of research is still relatively low ; and Institutional Strengthening Strategy farmers in order to improve the bargaining position of farmers one of them can be done with intensive training on institutional members
