Abstract

Employee recruitment is an important aspect of human resource management that significantly influences the achievement of company goals. The recruitment process is not only about finding the right person for a particular position, but also a long-term strategy to improve the company's competitiveness. Recruitment is a crucial process because it determines the quality of employees who will contribute directly to organizational success. Therefore, companies must ensure that all stages of recruitment run smoothly, are well-directed, and align with the company's real needs. This study uses a descriptive research method with the aim of describing in detail how the recruitment process is carried out at PT. ABC. The research subjects consisted of two key informants, namely the Director and the Personnel Manager. To obtain valid and in-depth data, this study used data collection techniques in the form of direct interviews and field observations. The collected data were then analyzed using a qualitative analysis approach. Qualitative analysis helps to provide a deeper understanding of recruitment practices and their impact on organizational performance. The results of the study indicate that the recruitment process at PT. ABC begins with a thorough planning stage. The company first determines applicant qualifications, prepares clear job specifications, and aligns human resource needs with the company's targets and objectives. This aims to ensure that the recruited workforce truly matches the required competencies. Furthermore, evaluations are conducted periodically to ensure the effectiveness of the recruitment process. The findings highlight that effective recruitment directly influences the company's ability to achieve its long-term objectives. The conclusion of this study is that the recruitment process has a significant impact on company success. With the right recruitment, companies can create competent, loyal human resources who contribute optimally to achieving the organization's vision and mission.

Abstract

The development of the automotive industry, particularly electric vehicles, has shifted consumer behavior in purchase decision-making, influenced by perceived value and price perception. This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Value and Price Perception on Purchase Decision, with Trust as a mediating variable among electric vehicle consumers in Jakarta. A quantitative approach was applied using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. Data were collected from 210 respondents who are either potential buyers or current users of electric vehicles in Jakarta. The analysis results indicate that both Perceived Value and Price Perception have a positive and significant effect on Trust and Purchase Decision, with Trust proven to act as a partial mediator. The findings show that perceived value is the most dominant factor driving purchase decisions, followed by price perception and trust in the product. This study offers strategic implications for automotive industry players to focus on enhancing consumer value perception and trust to increase the conversion rate of electric vehicle purchases.

Abstract

Remote work has expanded rapidly in Indonesia and created new challenges for sustaining employee performance in digitally mediated work settings. This study examines the role of employee engagement in mediating the effects of compensation and career development on the performance of remote workers. A quantitative approach was employed using survey data from 200 Indonesian remote workers, and the relationships among variables were analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that compensation and career development both have significant positive effects on employee engagement, while employee engagement has a strong positive effect on employee performance. The direct effect of compensation on performance is not significant, indicating that its influence operates mainly through engagement. In contrast, career development affects performance both directly and indirectly through engagement. These findings indicate that employee engagement is a key mechanism linking organizational support to remote employee performance. The study implies that organizations should not rely solely on financial rewards, but also provide clear career pathways, continuous learning opportunities, regular feedback, and meaningful recognition to strengthen engagement and improve performance in remote work environments.
