Abstract

This study aims to: determine the effect of hand grip and pull up exercises on service skills on volleyball extracurricular at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. The approach method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative research type, namely research based on calculations in the form of numbers using statistical calculations. The population in this study were 15 students. The sampling technique in this study used a side total technique, namely the sampling technique taking all members of the population as samples or respondents, namely 15 students. The data collection used in this study was by using a service test on volleyball. The data analysis technique used in this research is the t-test analysis technique. From the results of the analysis using the t-test, the value of t-count is = 6.410. When compared with the value of t table with a significance of 5% at n = 15, found a value of 2.145. From this value, it is known that t count is greater than t table (6,410 > 2,145), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that in this study there is an effect of hand grip and pull up exercises on service skills for volleyball extracurricular at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma.

Abstract

Fuzzy logic is part of an artificial intelligence system that emulates human ability to think into algorithms which are then run by machines. At the Bengkulu Province Library and Archives Service, there is no application that can help to determine the quality of service based on the value given by the respondent. Service Quality Level Application at the Bengkulu Provincial Library and Archives Service is an application built to facilitate library members in providing value to the quality of services provided by the Bengkulu Provincial Library and Archives Service, and this application applies the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic method where the level of service quality is divided into 5 levels, namely Very Good, Good, Fairly Good, Less Good and Not Good. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the functionality of the application has run as expected, and the Service Quality Level Application at the Bengkulu Provincial Library and Archives Service for 2021 is Very Good and this application is able to display the level of service quality every year through the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic Method approach.

Abstract

The growing use of visual design platforms in classrooms has intensified scholarly debate on whether digital learning media directly foster creativity or merely provide attractive instructional surfaces. This study examines the effect of Canva-based learning media on students’ creativity by integrating two competing theoretical perspectives: Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning, which emphasizes visual-verbal processing and reduced cognitive load, and the Componential Theory of Creativity, which highlights intrinsic motivation, domain-relevant skills, and creativity-relevant processes. A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design was proposed involving 120 senior secondary students assigned to an experimental class using Canva-based instructional media and a control class using conventional slide-based media. Creativity was measured through a performance rubric covering fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, while engagement and intrinsic motivation were assessed using validated Likert-scale instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability testing, independent samples t-test, ANCOVA, effect size estimation, and mediation analysis. Illustrative results show that students in the Canva-based group achieved higher posttest creativity scores than the control group after controlling for baseline ability, with the strongest gains observed in elaboration and originality. The discussion suggests that Canva supports creativity when its visual affordances are embedded in inquiry-oriented tasks, peer feedback, and teacher scaffolding. This study fills the void by positioning Canva not as a stand-alone technological solution but as a pedagogical design environment whose impact depends on cognitive, motivational, and social learning mechanisms. The findings offer implications for digital media integration, teacher training, and creativity-oriented curriculum design.

Abstract

One system that can be used as a network attached storage system or that can be used for storage is the Linux Ubuntu Server 20.04 operating system, which is an open source operating system, this operating system is very good for use as a server because it does not require high hardware specifications and It can also be obtained for free because it is open source. The network attached storage system using Linux Ubuntu server is very well applied to the Al-Fatah Stikes in Bengkulu City, this is because the Al-Fatah Stikes in Bengkulu City requires a shared storage system to make it easier for lecturers and students to collect, create and provide modules, with the existence of This system can help students and lecturers in lecture activities. The use of this system can help students in submitting assignments and searching for modules provided by lecturers. Each lecturer and student can only access the storage folder according to their respective account

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Mind Mapping learning method and to determine its impact on the learning outcomes of 10th-grade Visual Communication Design (VCD) students at SMK Negeri 03 Kepahiang regarding the topic of types of cameras. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, which were caused by a teaching approach still dominated by lectures; as a result, students were less active, had difficulty organizing their ideas, and lacked an understanding of the relationships between concepts in the material. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were 14 10th-grade VCD students at SMK Negeri 03 Kepahiang. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Mind Mapping method occurred through the stages of material delivery, group formation, mind map creation, presentation of work results, and learning reflection. During the learning process, students were observed to be more active in discussing, asking questions, and presenting their group work. The use of colors, symbols, images, and keywords in Mind Mapping helped students understand the material more easily and in a structured manner. Student learning outcomes also improved, as evidenced by the average score of 63.64 before the method was implemented, which rose to 81.00 after implementation—an increase of 17.36 points. In addition, all students achieved mastery of the material. Thus, the Mind Mapping method is effective in improving student learning outcomes, engagement, and motivation.
