Abstract

Background: Stunting is a state of malnutrition associated with past nutritional insufficiency so that it is included in a chronic nutritional problem. Based on data from a study on nutritional status in Indonesia in 2021, the prevalence of stunting in Bangkalan Regency is the highest among other districts in East Java, namely 38.9%, while the incidence of stunting in Indonesia is 24% (SSGI, 2021). This shows that there are high cases of stunting among toddlers in East Java, especially in Bangkalan.Purpose: This study aims to develop a model of attachment behavior for mothers in stunting prevention care in Bangkalan Regency.Methods: The research design used was analytic observational with a cross-sectional approach. The sample size is 190 mothers who have stunted children. Technical sampling using multistage random sampling and proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Latent variables (Variable X) in this study were attitude, personal agency, knowledge, maternal parenting intentions, environmental barriers, and habits, and the dependent variable (Y) in this study was the mother's attachment behavior with 19 observed variables or indicators. The analysis technique used is SEM-PLS. Results: The latent variables that have significance for the attachment behavior of mothers in stunting prevention care are knowledge and intentions. The attitude variable directly and significantly influences the mother's attitude in forming intentions that lead to attachment behavior of the mother in caring for stunting prevention in children under two years old. Mothers who have high intentions to care for their children will be followed by concrete actions in the form of attachment behavior in the form of stunting prevention care. Mothers who have good knowledge about how to prevent stunting, the causes of stunting, and the short-term or long-term effects of stunting will move the mother and attach the mother to her baby. Attitude is one of the factors that influence the formation of a mother's intention in the behavior of a mother's caring attachment to her child.Conclusion: Knowledge and intention variables shape mother's attachment behavior in stunting prevention care. Mother's attitude influences the mother's intention in attachment behavior in stunting prevention care.

Abstract

Child development can be influenced by postnatal factors such as stimulation mother, which plays an important role, in addition to factors nutritional status and chronic diseases in children. The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic risks increasing the child's pain rate. This study aims to determine the postnatal factors that influence and predominantly affect the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region. The design used is survey-analytic, with a cross-sectional study. A large sample of 106 mothers and children aged 12–60 months with the cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected based on the results of interviews using a questionnaire via a Google Form link and and measuring child development using the SDIDTK application. Bivariate analysis used chi-square, while multivariate analysis used multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there is a significant influence of, maternal attitudes, knowledge about developmental stimulation and chronic diseases in children on the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region (pv= 0,005; pv= 0,005; pv= 0,042). There is no influence of nutritional status factors on the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region (pv= 0,385). The mother's attitude about developmental stimulation is the dominant factor that affects the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region, Mothers who have a positive attitude towards development have a 69,249 times higher chance of having children with appropriate development compared children's chronic diseases and mothers' knowledge about stimulating children's development (pv= 0,005; α= 0,05; OR= 69,249). Mother's attitude about stimulation is important in child development. Education and knowledge can shape a mother's attitude so that more education is needed to achieve appropriate child development.

Abstract

Providing additional food that is not targeted and does not comply with consumption rules can cause nutritional problems.Based on a preliminary study at the Jaddih Community Health Center, it was found that 60% of MP-ASI provision was in the deficient category and breastfeeding practice was 50% in the deficient category. This shows the low level of maternal behavior in providing MP-ASI and breastfeeding practices in preventing stunting.. Objective: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence maternal behavior to prevent stunting, namely attitudes, subjective norms, perceived control, intentions towards providing complementary breast milk and breastfeeding practices in children aged 6-12 months according to the Theory Planned Of Behavior Method: This type of researchis an analytical observational with a cross sectional approach.The population was 144 mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months, withA sample of 122, using purposive sampling technique.Independent variables (attitudes, norms, control, intentions, and behavior) and dependent variables (stunting prevention in providing MP-ASI and breastfeeding practices). Results: The research results of multiple linear regression tests on attitude variables with an intention p value of 0.001<(0.05), H0 is accepted, there is no significant relationship. Subjective norm variable with an intention p value of 0.829>(0.05). H0 is accepted, there is no significant relationship. Perception control variable with an intention p value of 0.004<(0.05). H1 is accepted, there is a significant relationship. Attitude variables, subjective norms, perceived control with intention p value 0.001 <(0.05) of the 3 variables above are simultaneously related. The results of the Spearman rank test for the attitude variable with intention obtained a p value of 0.000 <(0.05). H0 was rejected, there is a significant relationship between intention and behavior, the value r: 0.538 has a strong relationship. Conclusions: Mothers with high intentions have good behavior. This is a factor that influences mother's behaviorin complementary feeding and breastfeeding practices.It is hoped that health workers and those who work in service facilities can contribute to reducing the prevalence of stunting by increasing maternal preventive behavior for babies aged 6-12 months.

Latar Belakang: Tenaga penjamah makanan merupakan unsur yang sangat penting dalam pelayanan gizi rumah sakit, yaitu berperan dalam mengolah makanan dan menyajikan makanan yang bermutu kepada pasien. Kelelahan kerja ditandai dengan melemahnya tenaga kerja dalam melakukan pekerjaan, sehingga meningkatkan kesalahan dalam bekerja.Tujuan: Mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja tenaga penjamah makanan di instalasi gizi RS dr R Soetijono Blora.Metode: Menggunakan rancangan observasional dengan teknik total sampling dan jumlah sampel 16 orang. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah analisa bivariat dengan korelasi Pearson Product Moment  dan Rank Spearman. Analisa multivariat dengan Regresi Linier.Hasil: Ada hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi dengan kelelahan kerja (p=0,005), tidak ada hubungan antara status gizi dengan kelelahan kerja (p=0,899), tidak ada hubungan antara umur dengan kelelahan kerja (p=0,145), tidak ada hubungan antara masa kerja dengan kelelahan kerja (p= 0,243), ada hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kelelahan kerja (p= 0,011), tidak ada hubungan antara stres kerja dengan kelelahan kerja (p=0,054), faktor yang paling berpengaruh pada kelelahan kerja adalah faktor tingkat kecukupan energi dan beban kerja (p=0,001).Kesimpulan: Faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kelelahan kerja adalah tingkat kecukupan energi dan beban kerja.
