Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Active Learning Strategy of Everyone Is a Here (ETH) Type accompanied by Giving Quiz at the end of learning on the results of Biology class XII IA students. The research method uses experiments with the type of Quasi Experiment research intended to interpret the data from the research results. The population in the study were all class XII IA SMA N 1 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency, 139 students consisting of 4 classes. Sampling using purposive random sampling technique. The type of instrument used is a test in the form of objective questions. The results of the analysis stated that the t test (t-test) in the experimental class proved that the value of tcount was greater than ttable, namely = 1.71> 1.67), then Ha (alternative hypothesis) was accepted. Furthermore, the results of the t test (t-test) in the control class prove that the value proves that tcount is greater than t-table = 1.71> 1.67) then Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. In conclusion, there is a significant influence in the use of Everyone Is a Here (ETH) Type Active Learning Strategy accompanied by Giving Quiz at the End of Learning on student learning outcomes. Abstract

Education is very important in preparing people to be able to maintain and improve the quality of life as individuals with dignity. The severity of the challenges faced in all fields can be seen from various kinds of reports such as student learning outcomes, the inability of the community to keep their children successful in educational institutions up to the age of compulsory education. The evaluation system, education management and what is most often highlighted by the mass media today is the problem of the concept of Freedom to Learn and Freedom to Teach in Science Learning through ChatGPT. The purpose of this study is to examine Freedom to Learn and Freedom to Teach in Science Learning. A review is conducted on the state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The results of this study can be seen from the aspects of affective learning and teaching models, learning methods, and self-learning methods sharing for information can facilitate the learning process in the independent curriculum, using the help of ChatGPT technology which functions to provide easiness in the process of achieving education. As part of modern technological innovation, ChatGPT has an impact on the world of education. Schools, teachers, and students can benefit from this artificial intelligence technology. ChatGPT can be a useful learning partner in implementing the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Oil palm flowers release volatile compounds that can attract insects. The types of insects that visit oil palm flowers are diverse, not all who visit the flowers are able to act as pollinators. This study aims to determine the types of insects (Insects) flower visitors to oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) In the PTP Nusantara VI Kecamatan Pangkalan Koto Baru. This research is a descriptive study. The research method is survey research. This research was conducted at 4 points of the research plot. The research sample was obtained by installing a Batterfly bait trap in the research area, then the identification was carried out in the laboratory using the book Kanisius (1991) and Entomologyi Pertanian (Jumar, 2000). From the results of the research using the Batterfly bait trap, it was found that the insects consisted of 3 orders, namely the Lepidoptera Order, the Hemiptera Order, and the Ortopthera Order where each order consisted of 1 type of family. The family found from the Lepidoptera Order is the Nymphalidae Family which consists of 6 species, namely Junonia hedonia 1 Individual, Ypthima pondacus 1 individual, Ypthima baldus 5 individual, Mycalesis janardana 3 individual, Elymnias hypermnestra 2 individuals, and types of Elymnias nesaea 1 individuals. From the Hemiptera Order, 1 family was obtained, namely, Pentatomidae which consisted of 1 type, namely the Picromerus bidens 1 individual type and the Orthopthera Order consisting of 1 family, namely Blattidae of the Periplaneta australasiae type as many 4 individuals, a total of 18 individuals were obtained.

Abstract

Butterflies are well-established bio-indicators for assessing biodiversity and monitoring ecosystem responses to environmental disturbances. Understanding their habitat preferences can help identify critical areas that require conservation to sustain their populations. This study aimed to determine butterfly habitat preferences across six land-use types in Lore Lindu National Park (natural forest habitats: primary forest, secondary forest, agroforestry, and river streams) and the Lindu and Besoa Enclave areas (anthropogenic systems: cocoa plantations and settlements). Butterflies were collected using insect nets with sweep netting techniques along transect lines in each habitat. Each habitat was divided into three 200-meter-long transects, sampled using purposive sampling. Butterfly habitat preferences in natural and anthropogenic habitats were evaluated by comparing the number of individuals and species, the percentage of families, and species composition across habitats. 1,786 individuals from 85 species across five butterfly families were recorded in Lore Lindu National Park and the surrounding enclave areas. The highest number of individuals and species was found in agroforestry habitats (527 individuals, 46 species). In contrast, primary forests had the lowest number of species (14 species), and river streams had the fewest individuals (76 individuals). The highest diversity index was found in agroforestry habitats (H' = 3.33, E = 0.75), while the lowest was in primary forests (H' = 2.27, E = 0.51). The Nymphalidae family had the highest percentage of species and individuals, distributed across all habitats. Species composition similarity among butterfly habitats grouped them into three categories: primary forest‒river stream, cocoa plantation‒settlement, and secondary forest‒agroforestry. Natural habitats (primary forests, secondary forests, agroforestry, and areas around river streams) supported a higher number of species compared to anthropogenic systems like cocoa plantations and settlements. Therefore, natural habitats are crucial for supporting butterfly populations in Lore Lindu National Park and its surrounding areas.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut guru berinovasi, termasuk guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI).
