Abstract

The transition to online learning since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic has forced all parties to respond quickly to the use of information technology. Various applications are used in the learning process. Of course, this was followed by the digitization of learning tools, including the Laboratory Management course held by the Science Education Study Program of the University of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Learning tools are needed to accommodate Course Learning Outcomes (CLO), one of which is a module. The modules are comprehensive, systematic, and accompanied by a planned learning experience designed to help students master the learning objectives. This research is a preliminary stage of research on the digitalization of module products which was carried out using the Borg and Gall models. This study aims to describe the need to develop the digitalization of the Science Laboratory Management course module to strengthen the laboratory skills of prospective science educators. The method used is a literature study of the needs and other considerations related to the development of module products. The study results stated that digitizing the Laboratory Management module makes it easier for students to access materials anywhere and anytime. Learning becomes more focused and structured. The e-module was developed by considering the laboratory skill needs of prospective science educators. The selected laboratory skill indicators include mastery of practical tools, accuracy and accuracy of work, Occupational Safety and Health, and handling of chemicals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore ethnoscience at the stage of dyeing woven fabrics, recommending science teaching materials related to Buton woven fabrics, especially in natural dye additives, and inviting the public to preserve the culture of woven fabrics. Ethnoscience is the science that is used to understand how people's original knowledge in the process of dyeing woven fabrics can be constructed into scientific scientific knowledge. The dyeing of the weaving threads is still done traditionally by using materials obtained from nature. The research was conducted in the Colorful Weaving Village. This research is a qualitative descriptive research through the process of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. The research data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation of sources by comparing the results of interviews with journal sources and websites. The results showed that at the stage of dyeing Buton woven fabrics, they contained junior high school science concepts, namely plant classification, natural dye additives, substance particles, molecules, simple planes, energy changes, solution concentration, and physical changes that could be used in contextual science learning. in school.

Abstract

Abstract Increasing teachers’ professionalism and educational quality in Indonesia can be done through classroom action research (CAR). However, many teachers still have not been able to carry out CAR. As prospective teachers, PGSD students of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University must take the CAR course. The purpose of this study is to measure the ability of students' creative thinking in designing CAR proposals as an effort to evaluate materials to prepare prospective professional teachers. This research is quantitative research analyzed with descriptive statistics. The sample was taken from PGSD students who attended the CAR lecture. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by analyzing CAR proposals to determine students' creative thinking skills in preparing CAR planning. This study produced information on student knowledge in the form of creative thinking skills with the creative category in terms of problem identification, determining the causes of problems, ideas of action, details of procedures, data analysis, and the ability to design research instruments that still need to be improved.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melaksanakan program Sekolah Bijak Sampah sebagai edukasi Pengelolaan sampah dalam paradigma baru yang mendukung Sustainable Development Goals di SD Negeri Margoyasan. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan antara lain: 1. Persiapan, 2. Pelaksanaan, dan 3. Evaluasi. Program ini diikuti oleh 50 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas IV dan V SD yang mengikuti keseluruhan rangkaian program. Kesimpulan dari program ini yaitu telah tumbuhnya kebiasaan membuang sampah tepat pada tempatnya dengan adanya media jurnal pembiasaan 40 Days Challenge dimana 32 dari 50 siswa memiliki tingkat keberhasilan diatas 70%, adanya peningkatan keterampilan pengolahan sampah dengan nilai N-Gain 0,89 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Selain itu, dihasilkan produk olahan sampah organik berupa Eco Enzyme dan pupuk kompos, produk olahan sampah anorganik berupa pot dari botol bekas, serta modul Menuju Sekolah Bijak Sampah.   Waste wise school as an effort to educate waste management in the new paradigm at SD Negeri Margoyasan   Abstract: This service aims to carry out the Waste Wise School program as education on waste management in a new paradigm that supports Sustainable Development Goals at SD Negeri Margoyasan. The steps taken include 1. Preparation, 2. Implementation, and 3. Evaluation. This program was attended by 50 students of grades IV and V of SD who participated in the entire program series. This program concluded that the habit of disposing of waste in the right place has grown with the 40 Days Challenge habitual journal media where 32 out of 50 students have a success rate above 70%, waste processing skills increased with an N-Gain value of 0.89 which included in the high category. In addition, processed organic waste products are produced in the form of Eco Enzyme and compost, inorganic waste processed products in the form of pots from used bottles, as well as the module Towards a Waste Wise School.

Abstract

Matakuliah inovasi pembelajaran IPA SD di prodi PGSD merupakan matakuliah baru dan belum memiliki modul yang mampu memfasilitasi kebutuhan dan karakteristik mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa belum mampu mengoptimalkan kompetensi pada matakuliah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan terhadap pengembangan modul Inovasi Pembelajaran IPA berbasis Tri-Nga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif untuk menghasilkan informasi kebutuhan terkait karakteristik mahasiswa, kurikulum, perangkat perencanaan dan asesmen yang dibuat, pendekatan dan strategi pembelajaran, muatan ajaran KHD Tri-Nga, modul, kemampuan abad 21 (6C), evaluasi, dan masalah yang dihadapi dosen yang akan digunakan untuk mengembangkan modul ke depannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan sekaligus untuk menguji keabsahan data yaitu triangulasi teknik berupa dokumentasi, angket, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subyek penelitian ini yaitu perwakilan mahasiswa dan dosen pengampu matakuliah Inovasi Pembelajaran IPA pada semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu dalam matakuliah Inovasi pembelaran perlu memiliki modul yang sesuai dengan kurikulum baru yang berbasis ajaran KHD, berdiferensiasi, sesuai kebutuhan dan karakteristik mahasiswa, sesuai dengan materi dan capaian pembelajaran, serta mampu diakses dengan leluasa oleh dosen dan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The aim of this program is to increase teachers' understanding of the teaching tools that have been provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology for IKM Mandiri Berubah and assist teachers in linking the material with the Pancasila profile and P5 planning. The method for implementing this service uses the workshop method in stages. Implementation stages or steps are adjusted to the solution stages for priority problems or issues faced by partners. Each stage is accompanied by outcomes whose success can be measured. The results of this program are: (1) there has been a review of the results of the pre-questionnaire regarding IKM and P5, (2) a refresher has been carried out for teachers regarding IKM Mandiri Belajar, IKM Mandiri Berubah, and IKM Mandiri Sharing, especially the main differences between the three IKM Mandiri , (3) knowledge transfer has been carried out regarding the contents of the IKM Mandiri Changing learning tools for mathematics learning, (4) Facilitating the development of diversity materials and local wisdom related to mathematics learning, and the results of post-questionnaire results related to SMEs. Based on measurements, of the 39 respondents, 69.2% understood, 17.9% understood very well, and 12.8% did not understand the understanding of the implementation of the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Desa Tuksono di Kulon Progo memiliki tumbuhan Garut yang melimpah namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kesadaran anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Tuwuh Lestari dalam memanfaatkan potensi lokal berupa umbi garut menjadi produk bernilai jual tinggi, serta memperluas akses pasar guna mendukung peningkatan pendapatan kelompok. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, pendampingan, dan diskusi partisipatif. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki antusiasme tinggi, mampu menghasilkan produk olahan berupa mochi dan cendol dengan kualitas baik, serta terdorong untuk mengembangkan usaha lokal berbasis garut. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi baru dan menginspirasi perubahan pola pikir menjadi lebih kreatif dan produktif. Selain manfaat yang dirasakan langsung oleh peserta pelatihan, pengabdian ini sudah disebarluaskan melalui video dan website pemerintah desa sebagai penyebaran manfaat yang lebih luas bagi Masyarakat.   Optimization of arrowroot starch production (OPPA GARUT): innovation and empowerment of women's farming group in Tuksono Village   Abstract: Tuksono Village in Kulon Progo has abundant Garut plants but has not been optimally utilized. The purpose of this training is to improve the skills and awareness of members of the Tuwuh Lestari Women Farmers Group (KWT) in utilizing local potential in the form of Garut tubers into high-value products, as well as expanding market access to support increasing group income. The methods used in this training include lectures, demonstrations, direct practice, mentoring, and participatory discussions. The results of the training showed that participants had high enthusiasm, were able to produce processed products in the form of mochi and cendol with good quality, and were encouraged to develop local businesses based on Garut. This activity not only improved the knowledge and skills of participants, but also opened up new economic opportunities and inspired a change in mindset to be more creative and productive. In addition to the benefits felt directly by training participants, this service has been disseminated through videos and village government websites as a wider dissemination of benefits for the community.

Abstract

Advances in technology cause a lot of damage to the environment and cultural shifts in society. This condition requires learning to integrate technology with the environment and society. Society-based industrial era 4.0 towards 5.0 studying and technology must pay attention to the preservation of nature and culture in society. The approach that fits this mandate is SETS (science, environment, technology, and society). The SETS approach can be applied in various media, methods and learning models. One of them is a science comic for junior high school that has included the SETS component in its material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study about the relationship between SETS components in junior high school science comics. The instruments in this study were data cards and operational definitions. The data in this study are in the form of words, language, pictures, and behavior that show the representation of the SETS components. The analysis results show that all SETS components have been represented in the science comics. SETS which is integrated into the learning process is expected to improve the quality of students in facing an increasingly advanced industrial era but still environmentally friendly.
