Abstract

Purpose: This paper examines the level of knowledge and awareness of the Jambi province community in issuing zakat through the e-commerce payment system.Design/Method/Approach: This study uses descriptive analysis by applying a quantitative approach to obtain information and collect the required data through google forms. Observation and literature study were also applied to expand the secondary data. The method is carried out to see the model of knowledge, awareness people pay zakat through e-commerce. Can it speed up the collection and distribution of zakat funds to people in need?Findings: The results showed that the level of knowledge and public awareness distribute zakat through e-commerce had a significant positive effect on the acceleration in the collection of zakat funds. The greater the level of knowledge and public awareness in the use of e-commerce, it can help accelerate the collection and distribution of zakat funds in Jambi Province.Originality/Values: The main contribution of this research is the existence of payment services and distribution of zakat funds by e-commerce which is very helpful and fosters awareness and knowledge of the Muslim community who wants to pay zakat without having to meet face to face, and Islamic law remains valid

Abstract

Islamic banks in Indonesia are currently experiencing quite rapid development. This happens because of regulatory changes that make it easier to establish and operate Islamic banks. In addition, it is possible that the Indonesian people, who are mostly Muslim, have great potential for the development of Islamic banks, one of which is in the East Tanjung Jabung Regency area which has strong Islamic traditions. This study aims to look at the potential, preferences and behavior of the people of West Tanjung Jabung Regency towards Islamic banks. The results of the study show that the people of West Tanjung Jabung Regency have considerable potential for the development of Islamic banking which can be explained through demographic and economic factors. Preferences show that the people of West Tanjung Jabung Regency have an attitude of accepting Sharia principles and products, while the behavior of the people of West Tanjung Jabung Regency shows that they are interested in saving and obtaining financing from Islamic banks.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the distribution of ZIS Funds (Zakat, Infaq, Alms) in suppressing poverty levels that impact the economy during the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in Jambi province. The method used is descriptive-quantitative and data collection through literature study and documentation in interviews with 70 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Likert scale method and multiple linear regression analysis. The result is that part of the perception/understanding of religion has a positive and significant effect on income levels, partially service variables have no and insignificant effect on income levels, partially, service variables have a positive and significant effect on income levels. So, it can be concluded that the perception/understanding of religion, service, and decisions have a simultaneous (combined) and significant effect on income levels.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of micro, small and medium enterprises within the University of Jambi. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The technique used in sampling was the questionnaire method which was given to 30 respondents. The results of this study indicate the level of influence on interest in entrepreneurship within the University of Jambi is indicated by the highest percentage of 97%. While the influence on motivation criteria, income level, operating profit and business prospects is shown with the highest percentage of 63%. Then the influence on the criteria for business turnover and business potential is shown with the highest percentage of 57%. While the influence on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises within the University of Jambi on the level of the total workforce is 47%. By using a Likert scale calculation that is calculated from all respondents' answers, it is known that on average all respondents answered strongly agree with a percentage of 91% and the rest stated that they strongly disagree with a percentage of 8%. So that the existence of Jambi University is very influential on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises in their environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interest of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic Economics Study Program, Jambi University, University of Jambi, and have consumed or shopped for Halal products at e-commerce shopee. with 42 respondents as a sample from a total population of 115 Islamic economics students class of 2020 at the University of Jambi. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method and data collection from this study was obtained from questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study was to analyze the results of the questionnaires which were developed and described based on existing facts. So the results of the interest analysis study of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic Economics Study Program, Jambi University, are positive because students are interested in shopping for Halal products at e-commerce shopee, with an average interest in online shopping according to Halal products in e-commerce shops, which are more dominant for women or Islamic economics student class of 2020 Jambi University compared to men or Islamic economics study program students class of 2020 Jambi University. This research is useful for all people in order to consume halal products at e-commerce shopee so that they are better than halal products.

Abstract

Based on a preliminary survey conducted by researchers of 100 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jambi using a questionnaire distributed online via Google Form, it was found that 78 students agreed that paylater affects consumptive behavior. And the results of a research study conducted by researchers also show that 97 students use Shopee PayLater with the slogan "pay later with payments in 3-6 months". This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires to Jambi University FEB students online via the Google form. A sample of 100 people using the slovin formula was taken by random sampling method with non-probability sampling. The data analysis used was a simple linear regression analysis processed with SPSS version 29. The results of this study indicate that the variable use of the Shopee PayLater pay later payment system has a significant effect on the consumption behavior of Jambi University FEB students. From a sharia business perspective, the paylater system is actually a paylater system using a qardh contract or payment note, where no interest and only rational administration are legally permitted.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran halal dan higienis terhadap keputusan pembelian Korean Street Food "Tteokbokki" baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Objek penelitian ini adalah keputusan pembelian Korean street food “tteokbokki” pada mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Ekonomi Islam angkatan 2020 Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi, kajian pustaka dan penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi sebanyak 107 mahasiswa dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan rumus Slovin diperoleh sebanyak 85 mahasiswa. Analisis data dan uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, analisis koefisien determinasi, uji-t dan uji-F. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa variabel kesadaran halal tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan t hitung (0,473) < t tabel (1,664) ) dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,638 , sebaliknya variabel higienis berpengaruh secara signifikan dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan t hitung (3,732) > t tabel (1,664) serta nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000. Sedangkan hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa F hitung (16,414) > F tabel (3,108) dan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Oleh karena itu, variabel kesadaran halal dan higienis secara bersamaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Professional zakat is an obligation as Muslims to fulfill it. The intensity of the Muslim community is strongly influenced by the level of education, one's faith, knowledge and the level of welfare of a person paying professional zakat. Based on this phenomenon, efforts to increase the participation of the Muslim community need to implement strategies and policies related to the provision of more efficient zakat payment facilities and openness in its management. Various efforts have been made sometimes experiencing obstacles related to the limited resources of professional zakat services that are not yet optimal and to accommodate the Muslim community to pay professional zakat payments. Thus, application and service quality are needed that can influence the decision of civil servants to pay professional zakat. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of participation and the factors that influence the decision to pay professional zakat. Furthermore, the data in this study were obtained from a survey of civil servants in Jambi City. The research analysis tool uses Smart PLS. This research is expected to be a basic reference for the government in formulating policies related to the optimization of professional zakat. The results showed that the determinant factors of the variables studied, the level of religiosity, utilitarian, altruism, motivation, knowledge affect the decision to pay professional zakat for state civil servants in Jambi City. Adjusted R-square value of 0.797. This means that the variables of religiosity, utilitarian, altruism, motivation, knowledge affect decisions in professional zakat by 79,7%, while the remaining 20,3% are influenced by other variables outside the model studied.

Abstract

P This study aims to identify the influence of Islamic branding, halal awareness, and product ingredients on the intention to buy cosmetic and skincare products among Muslim women of generation Z in Jambi Province. The use of cosmetic and skincare products that comply with Islamic principles is increasingly important for Muslim women who want to ensure that the products they use are halal and in accordance with their religious beliefs. Therefore, factors such as Islamic branding, halal awareness, and product ingredients are important considerations in their purchasing decisions. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to a sample of generation Z Muslim women in Jambi Province. The data collected was analyzed using multiple linear regression methods to examine the relationship between Islamic branding, halal awareness, and product ingredients on buying interest in cosmetic and skincare products. In addition, factor analysis was also carried out to identify the factors that most influence purchasing decisions.This research makes an important contribution in understanding the factors that influence purchasing decisions for cosmetic and skincare products among Muslim women of generation Z. The results of this research can be a reference for cosmetic and skincare companies in developing more effective marketing strategies that take into account religious values and the needs of Muslim consumers. In addition, this research can also be a basis for further research in a broader context.

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) merupakan perusahaan listrik daerah yang memberikan kontribusi cukup besar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik masyarakat karena sebagian besar kebutuhan masyarakat sangat bergantung pada listrik, namun jika diperhatikan PPT pln masih memiliki konsumen di beberapa daerah (Persero) belum memiliki pelayanan kelistrikan yang layak. Dalam hal ini terjadi wanprestasi karea tidak dilaksanakannya isi perjanjian yang telah disepakati dan menimbulkan kerugian bagi pemakai tenaga listrik, pemakai jasa tenaga listrik untuk membayar biaya listrik dan memperoleh pelayanan yang sesuai. Pertanyaan pokok dari penelitian ini adalah apakah tanggung jawab PT PLN (Persero Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat kepada pelanggan atas pemadam listrik sudah sejalan dengan undang-undang nomor 8 tahun 1999 tentang perlindungn konsumen dana upaya hukum yang tersedia bagi konsumen? Karena terjadinya pemadam listrik.
