Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variasi iklim organisasi, variasi persepsi iklim organisasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru serta gambaran dimensi iklim organisasi di sekolah penerap MBS. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa, guru dan SD di kecamatan Mojosari dan Puri, sedangkan instrument yang digunakan adalah OCDSQ versi Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket terbuka dan menggunakan skala Likert. Dari analisis varian. Menunjukkan bahwa SD penerap MBS belum mempunyai iklim organisasi yang sehat. Iklim organisasi SD penerap MBS signifikan pada gangguan beban dan perhatian kepala sekolah. Maka perlu upaya yang serius bagi kepala sekolah untuk mencari terobosan yang tepat dan diimbangi dengan peraturan yang mengarah pada kebutuhan sekolah oleh Depdiknas.The research aims at finding out the variation of organization climate perceived by the Headmasters and teachers as well as the dimension of organization climate at schools employing School Based Management. The instrument used is the Indonesian version of OCDSQ. The data needed are obtained through open questionnaires using Likert scale. The result shows that SBM schools are not well-organized yet. So, it is recommended that the Headmasters work seriously to reorganize the school management based on the rules of National Education.

Abstract

Abstract;  This research aims at developing a training model to improve the teacher quality to make them prepared to face  global competition. The specifications of the model comprises a) identification of organizational needs consisting of SWOT analysis, choice of strategy alternatives and strategy formula; b) needs analysis; c) training plan; d) training implementation; e) evaluation. After the tryout it shows that this model is proved to be  effective.
