Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of online-based Arabic learning in the new normal era at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi in January-March 2021. This type of research was descriptive qualitative with phenomenological research type. The data from this study were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation as supporting data from the results of observations and interviews. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of online-based Arabic learning was carried out quite well, namely before the implementation of learning the teacher makes a lesson plan. In practice, the teacher used the madrasah e-learning application and whatsapp, the method used was the lecture and assignment method, The media used were pdf and photos of learning materials, the assessment carried out was an integrative assessment, which was a combination of knowledge, attitudes, and skills assessments. However, there were obstacles in the implementation of online-based Arabic learning, where there were students who did not have a device, the inability of students to buy quotas, the unstable internet network, there were many tasks that given by the teacher, the teacher found it was difficult to observe student development, and the lack of learning methods. The supporters of the implementation of online-based Arabic learning were the provision of free learning quota subsidies for students who did not have a device to ride with their friends or make assignments to madrasah so that there was an increase in the quality of teachers in utilizing technology.

Abstract

Abstract: Darul Muttaqien Islamic boarding school is a boarding school located in the village of Pauh Menang. Darul Muttaqien Islamic boarding school teaches religious lessons, including Arabic. The research focuses on the think pair share method that will be used in the branch of science in Arabic, namely the learning sharaf. This method has been used by the Islamic boarding school to improve ability to memorize the term tashrif in the science of sharaf and researchers have also tried to use this method. This study aims to find out how the use of the think pair share method and the quality of the think pair share method in improving students' ability to memorize tashrif istilahi. In this study, researchers used qualitative data. Sources of data were obtained from learning sharaf’s teacher and students at the Darul Muttaqien Islamic boarding school. Data was collected using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. The results showed that, 1) in the classroom using one-way learning, from teacher to student, Ustadz explained the whole thing and Santri listened to every material explained by the ustadz and used guidelines to make it easier to memorize and then repeat rote in the dormitory called taqrar. 2) some obstacles in memorizing the tashrif istilahi for the students, that is (a) because there are some differences between waazan and mauzun, (b) the activeness of students in learning, (c) there is a change in the letter i'lal, (d) the difficulty of remembering in memorizing , (e) lazy and sick students.

Abstract

ملخص البحث اسم: نورني فوزية, موضوع: تصور الطالب جامعة جامبي قسم تعليم اللغة العربية للتعلم الذاتي(Autonomous Learning) في تعلم اللغة العربية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف تصور طلاب تعليم اللغة العربية نحو التعلم الذاتي في تعلم اللغة العربية، جامعة جامبي في مرحلة 2018 و 2019. من خلال خلفيات تعليمية مختلفة، بالطبع، أولئك الذين لديهم مهارات اللغة العربية مختلفة.أجري هذا البحث في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية، جامعة جامبي في 20 ديسمبر 2020 - 20 فبراير 2021. تم الحصول على بحث البيانات من خلال الملاحظة المباشرة ومقابلة طلاب تعليم اللغة العربية في 2018 و 2019 (كبيانات رئيسية). بعد جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلة، يتم تحليل البيانات وصفيا كميا. ونتيجة البحث الدراسة أن جميعها تقريبا الطلاب مستوية في مرحلة 2018 و2019 أجرى تعلما مستقلا خارج الفصل الدراسي، والبعض الآخر يقوم بالتعلم الذاتي باستخدام وسائل الإيضاح الموجودة لصقل مهاراته وفهم مواد اللغة العربية، والبعض الآخر يقوم بالتعلم الذاتي من خلال تلقي دورة الغة العربية خاصة. نتيجة المقابلة التي أجراها الباحث الذي يوفرالمعلومات بأن التعلم الذاتي مفيد جدا لتحسين القدرة على تعلم اللغة العربية، عدم كفا ية للتعلم في الفصل الدراسي، خاصة مع خلفية تعليمية ليست من المعهد ولكن من المدارس الحكومية التي لم تتعلم اللغة العربية أبدا. من نتيجة البحث هذه الدراسة يوصى بأن يكون المدرسون قادرين على توفير التوجيه والتحفيز بحيث يرغب الطلاب في التعلم خارج الفصل الدراسي ، وذلك من أجل دعم مهارات اللغة العربية لطلاب تعليم اللغة العربية ، الذين هم في الواقع من خريجي ليس من المعهد بحيث يحتاجون إلى تعلم إضافي في تعلم لغة أجنبية أو العربية

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the job performance of Civil Servants (ASN) at the Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Muaro Jambi Regency in carrying out the functions of planning and developing human resources (HR) in education, particularly teachers and educational personnel. The study focuses on the effectiveness of teacher formation planning, the implementation of competency development, and the implementation of a merit system in education HR management. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results show that the performance of BKPSDM ASN has met education management standards in several aspects, especially in the administration of teacher requirement planning and the implementation of competency development programs. However, there are several limitations, such as gaps in the digital literacy of civil servants, suboptimal mapping of school performance-based training needs, and a lack of innovation in the implementation of educational human resource development. This study concludes that the job performance of ASN BKPSDM contributes significantly to the effectiveness of managing teaching and education personnel, but still requires systemic strengthening through data integration, competency improvement, and alignment of performance indicators with education quality standards. Keywords: Job Performance, Education Management, BKPSDM, Educators Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis job performance Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dalam melaksanakan fungsi perencanaan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) pendidikan, khususnya guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Kajian difokuskan pada efektivitas perencanaan formasi guru, pelaksanaan pengembangan kompetensi, serta implementasi sistem merit dalam pengelolaan SDM pendidikan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja ASN BKPSDM telah memenuhi standar manajemen pendidikan dalam beberapa aspek, terutama administrasi perencanaan kebutuhan guru dan pelaksanaan program pengembangan kompetensi. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa keterbatasan seperti kesenjangan literasi digital aparatur, kurang optimalnya pemetaan kebutuhan pelatihan berbasis kinerja sekolah, serta minimnya inovasi dalam implementasi pengembangan SDM pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa job performance ASN BKPSDM memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan, namun masih memerlukan penguatan sistemik melalui integrasi data, peningkatan kompetensi, dan keselarasan indikator kinerja dengan standar mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping individuals and society, with cognitivism theory as one effective approach to improving the effectiveness of the learning process for elementary school students. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of integrating cognitivism theory into the learning process in elementary schools, with a focus on improving students' conceptual understanding, thinking skills, and academic achievement. The research method used a classroom action cycle (PTK) approach with two cycles, including initial preparation (concept introduction, lesson planning, and development of learning activities in accordance with Piaget's stages of cognitive development), implementation of strategies such as problem-solving approaches, group discussions, use of visual media as aids, and evaluation through observation, initial and final tests, and reflection for improvement. Data were processed qualitatively and quantitatively to identify patterns, changes in understanding, and the effectiveness of the method. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement, in-depth understanding of the material, and learning motivation. The conclusion of this study confirms that consistent application of cognitivism theory can improve the academic achievement of elementary school students, encouraging educators to adopt this approach to develop critical thinking, memory, and metacognitive skills, so that students are better prepared to face future challenges. This study provides valuable insights for education practitioners to design more efficient and adaptive teaching strategies.
