Abstract

Pemilih pemula menjadi objek yang krusial dan penting dalam aspek pemilih. Pendidikan politik bagi segmen politik pemilih pemula merupakan langkah kongkrit yang perlu dilakukan meski dalam kondisi pandemi covid-19. Hasil pra penelitian  awal dengan model pre test dari30 sampel menunjukkan hasil tentang pengetahuan politik uang, hanya 86,70% peserta yang tegas menjawab tahu politik uang, sedangkan 13,30% peserta lainnya mengaku belum mengetahui apa itu politik uang. Penelitian ini bertujuan memformulasikan bagaimana strategi intervensi yang efektif agar kesadaran antipolitik uang di kalangan remaja, mahasiswa dan generasi muda meningkat. Model pendekatan pre-experimental design dengan model one group pretest-posttest design telah diperoleh hasil penelitian akhir bahwa peserta yang telah mengikuti pelatihan dan mengisi angket post test memiliki pengetahuan tentang politik uang pemilih pemula dengan angka peneingkatan sebesar 13,3% dibandingkan pada pre test. Sebanyak 60% sampel pemilih pemula mengetahui tentang pilkada melalui media sosial.

Abstract

Equality in politics is necessary to improve the welfare of both men and women. The Gender Empowerment Index or IPG of Lampung Province in 2020 was 90,330; in 2021, it was 90,370; in 2022, it was 90,580. This increase was followed by an increase in the Human Development Index (HDI) in 2021 by 69.90, in 2022 by 70.45, in 2023 by 71.15. The average length of schooling increased from 8.08 in 2021, 8.18 in 2022, and 8.29 in 2023. Gender equality improves well-being and education. This study explains the gender gap in education in Semende ethnicity and its impact on patriarchal values that hinder the development of gender equality in the political field. The research was conducted with qualitative methods of gender approaches on access, control, participation and benefits. Data was collected through interviews and secondary data. The results showed that formal education has yet to be able to exclude students from patriarchal culture. In addition, education within the family and environment strengthens patriarchal culture. Factors of educational facilities, the number of teachers, the distance of schools from settlements, and language and ethnic values are obstacles to developing gender equality education. In addition, the development of gender equality in Semende Ethnicity shrinks the roles of women in politics.

Abstract

The traditional wisdom of tunggu tubang has shifted  due to economic needs, lack of agricultural land, job mobility, marriage with other than Semende tribe, which impacts the rights fulfilling and obligations of tunggu tubang. However, this shift has been  responded to by innovations so that this traditional wisdom persisted. This research  is to describe innovations in maintaining the traditional wisdom. This research uses descriptive quantitative method with 40 randomly chosen respondents. Data were taken from interviews using a questionnaire, and  interviews with key informants. The data were analyzed quantitatively with frequency tables, given the meaning with the structural functional approach of Talcott Parson, that traditional wisdom still functions when able to adapt,  goal attainment, integration, latent maintenance. The results showed:  92.5% tunggu tubang to get rights to houses, gardens, fields and carrying out their obligations, but 7.5% without these rights (tepang bangkang) so they cannot carry out their obligations, namely occupying an inheritance house, taking care of their parents and their younger siblings. Tunggu tubang property sold out.This violation is tolerated because of economic necessity. But tepang bangkang still the decision maker in the family and  can give the right for the next tunggu tubang. If tunggu tubang married to someone other than Semende tribe, her husband follows it.If working outside the city, rights are still given while obligations are carried out indirectly. This adaptation makes the  traditional wisdom survive, be the goal of life, carries out the function of integration, but the function of pattern maintenance is getting weaker.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain and analyze the knowledge and attitudes of the younger generation towards money politics in the general election campaign in Lampung in 2024. This study uses qualitative methods with primary data collected through interviews, in-depth group discussions, documentation, and observations. Data analysis uses frequency tables, percentage, and interpretation according to the theoretical framework. The results of the study show that the younger generation and university students have a positive attitude towards preventing the practice of money politics in the regional head election in Lampung. However, knowledge of prohibitions and sanctions for money politics needs to be further enhanced among them, both through political education and periodic active socialization by the election organizer (General Election Commission and Election Supervisory Agency), as well as through cooperation with higher education, group civil society groups, and schools.

Abstract

Fenomena mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu semakin meningkat sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan ekonomi, kondisi ekonomi keluarga, keinginan hidup mandiri, dan pengembangan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dinamika adaptasi sosial mahasiswa yang bekerja paruh waktu dalam menjalankan peran ganda sebagai mahasiswa dan pekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, berfokus pada pengalaman subjektif mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Lampung yang bekerja paruh waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa melewati tahapan adaptasi mulai dari antusiasme pada pengalaman kerja, menghadapi tekanan akademik dan pekerjaan, hingga menemukan pola manajemen waktu untuk menyeimbangkan kedua peran. Faktor pendorong adaptasi meliputi  motivasi internal, manajemen waktu dan skala prioritas, dan dukungan sosial, sedangkan faktor penghambat berupa keterbatasan waktu, kelelahan fisik, beban akademik yang menumpuk, dan perbedaan budaya dan norma. Penelitian ini juga menemukan dugaan kecenderungan workaholism pada mahasiswa pekerja, yang berdampak pada penurunan fokus akademik dan kesehatan jika tidak diimbangi dengan pengelolaan diri yang baik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kemampuan adaptasi sosial mahasiswa agar dapat menjaga keseimbangan antara studi dan pekerjaan sehingga kedua peran dapat dijalankan dengan baik.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bencana alam adalah rangakaian kondisi gejala alam yang mendorong terjadinya kerugian baik secara fisik, sosial atau jiwa, serta ekonomi. Kerugian yang terjadi akan bertambah semakin besar jika tidak adanya upaya untuk memahami prosedur pencegahan, yang sekaligus menjadi bagian dari proses mitigasi yang tepat untuk dilakukan. Dari pengabdian ini diharapkan menghasilkan siswa SMA 1 Natar, Lampung Selatan memiliki nalar kritis dan memiliki tanggung jawab dalam menemukan formulasi mitigasi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik bencana di wilayah dan perwilayahan yang ada. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode sosialisasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM di mulai dari adanya tahapan pra pengabdian dengan melakukan studi pendahuluan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara sederhana di tempat lokasi pengabdian yang dikhususkan pada topik bencana alam yang pada umumnya ada di wilayah tersebut, yakni banjir. Serta selanjutnya dilakukan proses evaluasi terkait program yang telah dilaksanakan. Kegiatan ini berhasil diikuti oleh 40 Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Natar, para siswa tersebut pada awalnya diberikan materi mengenai pengenalan terkait dengan makna dan definisi bencana alam yang ada di Indonesia, tahapan pengenalan terkait dengan mitigasi bencana alam yang diperlukan untuk proses mengatasi permasalahan bencana alam. kegiatan ini mendapatkan hasil yang cukup efektif, dimana dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil evaluasi yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil sosialisasi mengenai pemahaman Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Natar dalam memitigasi bencana alam yang terjadi di wilayah mereka masuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Selain itu kemampuan siswa SMA Negeri 1 Natar terhadap informasi yang didapatkan cukup efektif dalam memitigasi bencana alam yang terjadi di wilayah mereka.  Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di SMA Negeri 1 Natar, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan berhasil meningkatkan nalar kritis siswa dalam memahami serta memitigasi bencana alam. Program pelaksanaan PkM yang melibatkan pemahaman secara mendalam ini juga menunjukkan hasil positif, dengan hasilnya setiap siswa/i yang ikut dalam pengahabdian diharapkan menjadi agen dari adanya mitigasi bencana di lingkungan Dimana mereka berada. Rekomendasi pada hasil tersebut mencakup dengan dorongan untuk keterlibatan aktif guru dan warga sekolah untuk kemudian memiliki peran menjadi pendampingan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Bencana Alam, Mitigasi Bencana, Nalar Kritis Siswa. ABSTRACT A natural disaster is a condition of natural phenomena that leads to physical, social or life, and economic losses. The losses incurred will increase if there is no effort to understand the prevention procedures, which are also part of the appropriate mitigation process to be carried out. From this service, it is expected to produce students of SMA 1 Natar, South Lampung to have critical reasoning and have responsibility in finding mitigation formulations that are in accordance with the characteristics of the disaster.  This activity was carried out using the socialisation method. The implementation of this PkM activity starts from the pre-service stage by conducting a preliminary study (observation, documentation, and simple interviews) at the service location which is devoted to the topic of natural disasters. And then an evaluation is carried out regarding the programme that has been implemented.  This activity was successfully attended by 40 students of SMA Negeri 1 Natar, the students were given material about the introduction related to the meaning and definition of natural disasters that exist in Indonesia, the introduction related to disaster mitigation needed for the process of overcoming the problem of natural disasters. This activity obtained quite effective results, which can be proven by the evaluation results which show that the results of socialisation regarding the understanding of SMA Negeri 1 Natar students in mitigating natural disasters that occur in their area fall into the medium category. In addition, the ability of SMA Negeri 1 Natar students to obtain information is quite effective in mitigating natural disasters that occur in their area.  Service activities at SMA Negeri 1 Natar, South Lampung, succeeded in increasing students' critical reasoning in mitigating natural disasters. This programme involving specific understanding and training showed positive results, with students expected to become mitigation agents in their environment. Recommendations on the results include active involvement of teachers and school community for continuous mentoring. Keywords: Natural Disasters, Disaster Mitigation, Students' Critical Reasoning.

Abstract

Community-based initiatives in developing country settings often fail not from a lack of initial participation, but from the absence of the institutional and social conditions needed to sustain what that participation created. The existing literature documents this difficulty consistently: more than seventy percent of such initiatives stagnate or regress within three to five years, particularly when external funding is reduced or removed (Dees et al., 2004; Moulaert et al., 2013). Pasar Yosomulyo Pelangi, known locally as Payungi, a community-run creative market in Kelurahan Yosomulyo, Kota Metro, Lampung, has operated outside this pattern since its founding in October 2018, maintaining viability across economic, social, institutional, and cultural dimensions without recurring external subsidy. This study draws on qualitative fieldwork conducted in Q3 2025 in Kelurahan Yosomulyo, involving in-depth interviews with 23 informants drawn from multiple participant categories, participant observation, and documentary analysis. The analysis reveals three interconnected mechanisms that explain Payungi's durability. First, its institutional design emerged from deliberate learning after an earlier initiative collapsed under administrative boundary conflicts. Second, contrary to the commonly assumed trade-off between bonding and bridging social capital in diverse communities, what the Payungi data shows is that strong bonding capital at the neighborhood level provided the stable foundation from which bridging capital across ethnic, gender, and disability lines could be deliberately constructed. Third, selective formalization, the practice of formalizing legally necessary functions while preserving participatory informality in governance decisions, allowed Payungi to navigate bureaucratic requirements without losing its grassroots character. These findings extend social capital theory for multi-ethnic semi-urban contexts in the Global South and offer practical lessons for community development practitioners.

Abstract

Indonesia is a heterogeneous country that requires an inclusive and tolerant attitude to live in harmony. However, with the implementation of direct elections in Indonesia, there are many hoaxes and black campaigns through the mass media. The purpose of this study is to examine the national insight and political attitudes of rural youth in social media-based election campaigns. The method used is in-depth interviews through structured focus group discussions (FGD) with young students in rural South Lampung. The results showed that Lampung rural youth realized the importance of Pancasila as a unifying tool for the nation. Furthermore, the youth of Lampung strongly disapprove of hoaxes and black campaigns in the general election. This finding is very important to maintain harmony in Indonesia and can serve as a model  Indonesia merupakan negara heterogen yang membutuhkan sikap inklusif dan toleran agar dapat hidup rukun. Namun, dengan diterapkannya pemilihan langsung di Indonesia, banyak bermunculan hoax dan kampanye hitam melalui media massa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji wawasan kebangsaan dan sikap politik pemuda pedesaan dalam kampanye pemilu berbasis media sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam melalui diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD) terstruktur dengan mahasiswa generasi muda di pedesaan Lampung Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemuda pedesaan Lampung menyadari pentingnya Pancasila sebagai alat pemersatu Bangsa. Lebih lanjut, pemuda Lampung sangat tidak setuju dengan hoaks dan kampanye hitam dalam pemilihan umum. Temuan ini sangat penting untuk menjaga kerukunan di Indonesia dan dapat menjadi model bagi daerah lain di Indonesia.Â
