Abstract

This study uses a learning culture study approach. The type of research method used is qualitative-descriptive. The techniques used in data collection are: 1) observation. 2) Interview. 3) Documentation or records. The conclusion of this research is there is a character education innovation program at SMP Unismuh Makassar, the name of the program is The Nine Golden Habits, where every habit has implications, namely Habit 1: The habit of praying must be on time at the beginning of time and in congregation has implications for the mental of obedient students and love to Allah's orders. Habit 2: The habit of fasting sunnah Monday-Thursday, imposes an impact on the honesty and self-control of students. Habit 3: The habit of giving and giving alms has implications for the change of an attitude of social concern and empathy for others. Habit 4: The habit of reading the Al-Qur'an, it has implications for the tradition of reciting the Koran and self-reflection in improving the laws of reading. Habit 5: Islamic habitation, this habit implies the growth of the habit of being polite and courteous to teachers and other students. Habit 6: Scheduled reading habits, implicating students' habits to actively seek knowledge and broad horizons. Habit 7: The habit of following recitation and study has implications for students' habits to deepen their religious knowledge and enjoy being in recitation sessions. Habit 8: Habitual organization, which implies that students are accustomed to collaborating, are responsible and having leadership skills. 9: Habit of positive thinking, this habit has implication for the habit of prejudice.

Abstract

Based on data analysis, it is concluded that in Nayla, Djenar Mahesa Ayu shows the women’s images in the story. This is proved by critical mapping regarding the focus of the study which is physical images through the character of lead figure in the novel. Therefore it is inferred that Nayla as the main character is affected and dominated by psychological problems that are immersed becoming her character. Attitude and self-consistency are also described as the value of Nayla’s character. Besides, based on feminism analysis identified from Tuhan, Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur (God, Let Me become A Prostitute) by Muhidin M. Dahlan, it is concluded that weak women tend to get the kind of abuses from men. Women who easily get doctrine with fraud pledges will turn to be more hurt and disappoint with their life and reality. Additionally, the disappointments to other people can also turn women to the disappointment to God.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Reading Ability with the Card Sort Method in Indonesian Subjects at SD Unismuh Makassar. Reading is a means for students to learn something that is not yet known and can expand knowledge, students can recognize themselves, their culture even helps to recognize the culture of other people, and students can recognize written messages contained in reading . To achieve the above objectives, it is necessary to have the ability of students to read. The Card Sort method is a learning method that is used to help remember what they have read in reading books, not only from short term memory to long term memory, in fact many students are lazy to read the readings contained in reading books so that students have difficulty understanding the material studied. Based on the results of a pre-survey conducted on December 4 2022 at SD Unismuh Makassar with Indonesian teachers, it is known that problems in learning to read occur in class IV. Students have not been able to read properly and correctly, students have not been able to answer questions related to information and reading material, and draw conclusions from reading. As a result, most students are less active in concluding reading content, students also feel bored with learning to read so they are less enthusiastic about following it. In each reading lesson, the teacher only gives readings and then assigns students to read silently followed by answering questions according to the contents of the reading material. The use of the Card Sort learning method is expected to be able to improve students' reading skills in accordance with the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) for class IV in the Indonesian language subject at SD Unismuh Makassar because, in this Card Sort type cooperative learning method. Students are required to actively carry out the responsibilities of the tasks assigned by the teacher. The results of research using the Card Sort method can improve students' reading skills. Learning with this method can improve the reading of fourth grade students at SD Unismuh Makassar. The average Card Sort method in student learning in Indonesian subjects from the status cycle reached 60.50% then in the second cycle it reached 80.50% so it experienced an increase of 20%. In this case, students' reading increased by 45%. So with an increase in reading, students who complete learning are 80% and students who do not complete learning are 20%.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning Indonesian Language and Literature towards the Use of Library Collections by Students of Grade IX students of the First Menegah Schoolof Unismuh Makassar. This research aimsto determine the influence of learning Indonesian language and literature on the use of library collections at SMP Unismuh Makassar. This research uses quantitative methods. The data collection techniquein this study uses a questionnaire that is circulated toall class XI students. Population using Simple Random Sampling Technique. Basedon the results of the study, it shows that the learning of indonesian language and literatureis classified as good or high level. The results were obtained from 59.77% of respondents utilizing library collections for Indonesian language and literature subjects twice a week. Meanwhile, the utilization of library by Grade IX students of the First Menegah Schoolof Unismuh Makassar is classified as a good level. Based on the results that the author can conclude 4.27% that respondents use library collections as a source of information to increase knowledge so that students gain insight and obtain materials or materials to add knowledge.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab diberikan untuk menyampaikan materi yang akan diberikan kepada guru-guru SMP mitra. 1) Metode ceramah bertujuan untuk menyampaikan rangkaian teori dan prosedur pembuatan bahan ajar kesastraan, dan bagaimana proses pembelajaran daapat dilakukan dengan baik dan efektif melalui Microteaching, 2) Metode diskusi dan tanya jawab digunakan untuk memudahkan instruktur atau pelaksana untuk menentukan strategi yang diterapkan dalam pembimbingan. Sedangkan tanya jawab dilakukan untuk mengecek apakah peserta telah memahami materi pembelajaran berbasis ICT yang diberikan instruktur, selain itu sesi tanya jawab membantu peserta dalam menyesuaikan media dengan pokok bahasan yang akan diajarkan. Metode penugasan digunakan untuk melatih guru-guru membuat media pembelajaran berbasis ICT menggunakan VSDC dan PPT dan mengimplementasikan media tersebut pada siswa. 3) Metode praktik dan penugasan, digunakan untuk memberikan latihan kepada peserta workshop untuk menyiapkan dan menyusunan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT menggunakan VSDC dan PPT. 4) Proses pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis ICT adalah menyiapkan perangkat Laptop atau PC yang lengkap dengan jaringan Internet, kemudin menyiapkan buku panduan yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam menjalankan aplikasi pembuatan media berbasis ICT menggunakan VSDC dan PPT. Masalah pertama yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran sastra adalah 1) ketidakmampuan guru dalam menguasai sastra, 2)kurangnya keterampilan mengajar bagi guru, 3) kurangnya pemahaman terhadap sastra. Selanjutnya masalah kedua dalam bidang Teknologi, adalah 1) Belum dapat mengemas media dengan baik, 2)belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan pembuatan media ajar, 3) kurang termotivasi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan IT. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut di atas, maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah 1) pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar kesastraan, 2) Pelatihan Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran 3) pelatihan dan pendampingan pengemasan media pembelajaran sastra, 4) Pelatihan dan penguatanLiterasi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra Indonesia dan Daerah Vol. 13, No. 2, Juli 2023 e-ISSN 2549-2594364strategi dalam menggunakan media yang telah dibuat oleh guru, 5) Pelatihan Mempromosikan hasil karya melalui website/youtube. Melalui media ini guru akan terbantu menjelaskan cara membaca puisi yang baik sesuai yang ditampakkan oleh media audio-visual. Sekolah merupakan wadah dalam menuntut ilmu pengetahuan, namun jika sekolah itu tidak mampu membuat anak-anak bergairah, maka perlu dievaluasi Kembali apa yang kurang dalam proses belajar. Hal ini tentu terkait dengan pembelajaran sastra yang terbatas pada penghafalan teori dan teks. Sementara yang dinilai masih taraf kemampuan menghafal. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMP Negeri 1 Bontoramba.

Abstract

This study aims to explain variations in the use of seller refusal strategies and politeness of refusal speech acts in the context of negotiation. To realize the above objectives, this study was designed using a language functional approach with a qualitative descriptive research type. The research location was carried out in traditional markets in Makassar City. The research data is in the form of utterances. The techniques used in data collection were (1) recording and (2) interviews. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model which included the following stages: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (4) verification and concluding. This method is expected to produce new theories related to the language of rejection at TKT 1-3 levels. The results of the study show that (1) the speech patterns of sellers and buyers in traditional markets in Makassar City found four patterns. Namely, call-answer patterns, request-information patterns, offer-rejection patterns, and offer-accept patterns, and (2) the forms of speech used by sellers and buyers, namely assertive speech which functions to state. Directive speech is divided into four purposes or objectives. Namely, command, beg, invite, and ask. Meanwhile, expressive speech is divided into three purposes or objectives. Namely, thanking, praising, and satirizing. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan variasi penggunaan strategi penolakan penjual dan kesantunan tindak tutur penolakan dalam konteks negosiasi. Untuk merealisasikan tujuan tersebut di atas maka, penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan pendekatan fungsional bahasa dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Pasar Maricayya Kota Makassar. Data penelitian ini berupa tuturan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah (1) perekaman dan (2) wawancara. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi tahap: (1) pengumpulan data (2) reduksi data, (3) penyajian data, dan (4) verifikasi serta penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan metode tersebut, maka dapat menghasilkan teori baru yang berkenaan dengan bahasa penolakan pada level TKT 1-3. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pola tuturan penjual dan pembeli di pasar Maricayya Kota Makassr ditemukan empat pola, yaitu: pola panggilan-jawaban, pola permintaan informasi-pemberian, pola tawaran-penolakan, dan pola tawaran-penerimaan dan (2) bentuk tuturan yang digunakan oleh penjual dan pembeli, yaitu tuturan asertif yang berfungsi menyatakan. Tuturan direktif terbagi atas empat maksud atau tujuan. Yakni, memerintah, memohon, mengajak, dan meminta. Adapun, tuturan ekspresif terbagi atas tiga maksud atau tujuan, yaitu: berterima kasih, memuji, dan menyindir.

Abstract

Children are the age group that needs guidance and teaching from adults. Furthermore, the growth and development of children must be protected from aspects of violence, especially "child predators", because children are a nation's asset towards progress and prosperity. This study aims to analyze the strategy for protecting violence against children through the Aisyiyah Cinta Anak (GACA) movement in Makassar City. This research is a qualitative research that aims to produce more powerful and in-depth data that can be obtained at the research location (field). This research was conducted in Mamajang District, Makassar. The results of the research are expected to find formulations of strategic concepts that can be implemented by Aisyiyah in protecting children from violence. The government provides the widest possible opportunity for the community to play a role in realizing child protection. The government continues to encourage the formation of community-based Integrated Child Protection in all regions, including Makassar City.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is that there is an influence of folklore E-book learning media on the reading ability of class IV students at SDN 255 Paranglohe, Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency. This research aims to describe the influence of folklore e-book learning media on the reading ability of class IV students at SDN 255 Paranglohe, Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is quantitative research that uses experimental research (pre-experimental design) with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SDN Paranglohe, Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency with a sample size of 22 students. The research instruments used to collect data were description tests (pretest-posttest) and observation sheets.The data analysis technique used in this research uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the t test. The results of the research prove that there is an influence of folklore E-Book learning media on the reading ability of class IV students at SDN 255 Paranglohe, Herlang District, Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the application of series image media can improve narrative essay writing skills in class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan, Maros Regency. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in four meetings. The focus of this research is 1) Narrative essay writing skills and 2) Use of series image media in class V of SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency. Research procedures include planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 16 class IV students. The collected data was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research are: (1) In the first cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for Class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency was obtained, namely 58.7. (2) In the second cycle, the average value of learning outcomes for Class V students at SDN 145 Inpres was obtained. Maros district's exposure is higher, reaching 82.5. The learning completion of class V students at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan, Maros Regency has also increased. In cycle I, 3 (18.7%) students achieved complete learning, while in cycle II 14 (87.5%) students achieved complete learning and classical learning was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II was achieved classically because the number of students who completed it was more than 80%. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the skill of writing narrative essays for class V at SDN 145 Inpres Pampangan Maros Regency through the application of series image media has increased.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how to apply the syllabic method with a connected model to improve the reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City. This research aims to improve the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City by implementing the syllabic method with a connected model. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) which consists of two cycles, each cycle carried out in three meetings. Research procedures include planning, implementation, observation/evaluation, and reflection. The subjects in this research were 23 grade 1 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City. The results of the research showed that in the first cycle of 23 students who completed the written test, there were 10 students or 43% who met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or were in the good category. students or 61% who meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or are in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, in cycle II, in the written test of 23 students, there were 23 students or 100% who met the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or were in the very good category, and in the oral test of beginning reading with the syllabic method, of the 23 students there were 22 students or 96 % who meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) or are in the very good category. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Bontomanai Makassar City through the implementation of the syllabic method with the connected model has increased.
