Abstract

This research aims to develop the P5 Adipura Module with the theme of entrepreneurship for elementary school students as an effort to strengthen the values of the Pancasila student profile (P3). The research method used was research and development adopting Sugiyono's development model with 7 stages including potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The test subjects were students in class 4 phase B elementary school. The trial was carried out in small groups. The data collection process was in the form of interviews, observations, and distributing questionnaires. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative descriptives. The result of this research was a product in the form of the P5 Adipura Module on the use of family medicinal plants (TOGA) on the theme of entrepreneurship. The average result of material expert validation was 3.29 with valid criteria. Likewise, the average media expert validation result was 3.20 with valid criteria, suitable for use in the project learning process by educators and students. Experiments in small groups to show the practicality of the module can be seen from the score interval obtained from the practicality sheet instrument by users (teachers and students) of 3.86 with very practical criteria. The Adipura P5 module is suitable for use, making it easier for educators and students in the learning process.

Abstract

Independent Community Service (KKN) in Desa Besar II Terjun by students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra aims to improve the quality of education and optimize MSMEs. Through an in-depth survey, the author identified four main problems: the use of chemicals in agriculture, inappropriate educational curriculum, and less than optimal innovation and marketing of MSME products. The implementation method involves face-to-face (on the spot training) with coordination of village officials, as well as the use of chemical raw materials and promotional media to support marketing. The results of the activity show that the author understands the importance of effective communication in building relationships with the community and gaining valuable experience outside the classroom. MSME actors feel helped by the support of students, while the community feels a more lively village atmosphere. This activity is expected to provide significant benefits for the community of Desa Besar II Terjun and be the first step in sustainable empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak terhadap  tingkat religiutas anak di Rumah Quran Zammi  menggunakan  pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan Observasi dan wawancara data. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : pelaksanaan berbagai implementasi Akidah Akhlak terhadap tingkat religiutas anak. Menjelaskan apa saja kegiatan-kegiatan penunjang religiutas anak yang sudah dilaksanakan di Rumah Quran Zammi. Implementasi Akidah Akhlak ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan generasi yang pintar dan berakhlakul karimah, mencipatakan generasi penerus bangsa yng mengedepankan ketakwaan kepada Allah SWT serta menjalankan aturan hidup dengan berlandaskan Alquran dan Sunnah. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi Akidah Akhlak terhadap Tingkat Religiutas anak di Rumah Quran Zammi sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan mengarah kepada hal positif karena adanya kerjasama yang baik antara ketua yayasan, guru pembimbing untuk menciptakan generasi bangsa yang cerdas dan berakhlak mulia. Namun, tantangan dalam keterbatasan waktu mengajar tetap ada. Guru memerlukan strategi yang tepat agar terlaksana pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak yang maksimal dengan waktu yang singkat. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam pengajaran Akidah Akhlak di berbagai Rumah Quran.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra is a community service program carried out individually with a cross-disciplinary approach. This study focuses on MSMEs in Desa Besar II Terjun, identifying problems related to product innovation and business marketing. Through a survey, the author found that many MSME actors have not been optimal in carrying out innovation and marketing, which has an impact on the community's economy. The results of the KKN activities show that students are able to build emotional connections with the community, help MSME actors, and provide a new atmosphere in the village. Supporting factors for activities include family and community support, while inhibiting factors are more internal, such as lack of motivation. These findings emphasize the importance of business innovation and marketing in improving the community's economy and the contribution of students in developing MSMEs.

Abstract

Bullying is an act of violence against individuals both verbally and non-verbally that results in traumatized individuals to carry out activities in general. In recent months, there has been a lot of news that there is child violence committed by their own friends, parents and the community. Both in the educational environment and in the community, for this reason, it is necessary to make joint commitments to make efforts to prevent acts of verbal and non-verbal violence both through social media directly and with other tools. It is due to the lack of understanding of the dangers of bullying for it is very interesting if this is solved. This commitment is not enough only from education but must cooperate with various parties, both authorities, the community, guardians, students, and community leaders. The method in socialization of the prevention of violence against children (bullying) has several stages in the first stages of planning, organizing, implementing socialization, mentoring and evaluation. The main target that is expected in the implementation of this activity is so that the public knows the rules of the law on child violence and also the psychological danger for children who experience such violence. The results of this activity were immediately felt because many communities, students and education directly provided input to carry out continuous assistance and immediately obtained positive results with an understanding of the dangers of bullying for children affected by bullying both psychologically and non-psychologically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of social media, specifically YouTube and TikTok, as supporting learning media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Nurul Hasanah Senior High School. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of increasing social media use among adolescents, known as digital natives, and the potential of digital platforms as educational tools. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with eleventh-grade students and PAI teachers as subjects. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that YouTube was effective in providing in-depth explanations of PAI material, while TikTok emphasized delivering short, motivational, and engaging messages in line with the characteristics of digital generation students. The use of social media has been proven to increase student motivation, participation, and understanding in PAI learning. However, challenges arise from distractions from non-learning content, limited information validity, and the potential for misuse of digital devices in schools. The role of teachers is crucial as facilitators, content curators, and supervisors to ensure the effective and responsible use of social media. Furthermore, school policies that allow students to bring mobile phones under certain conditions namely, collecting them when not in use and allowing them during lessons have been shown to balance the need for learning innovation with discipline. In conclusion, social media such as YouTube and TikTok can be effective supporting learning tools in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) when integrated with appropriate pedagogical strategies, teacher guidance, and school policy support.

Abstract

The use of mobile phones among students has increased significantly in line with the rapid development of information and communication technology. This phenomenon provides positive impacts in terms of easier access to information and learning resources, but it also brings negative consequences such as distractions that may reduce students’ learning concentration. This study aims to investigate the influence of mobile phone usage on students’ concentration and learning outcomes at vocational high schools. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed, involving 60 respondents from twelfth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire measuring the intensity and patterns of mobile phone usage, as well as a learning achievement test to assess students’ academic performance. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both partial and simultaneous relationships among variables. The results indicate that mobile phone usage has a significant influence on learning concentration, which subsequently affects students’ academic performance. The findings show that higher intensity of mobile phone use for non-academic activities, such as social media, gaming, and online entertainment, tends to decrease students’ focus, thereby lowering their academic achievement. Conversely, the use of mobile phones for academic purposes, such as searching for references, accessing learning materials, and communicating in study groups, can support the learning process. Thus, mobile phones play a dual role, functioning either as a facilitator or as a barrier to learning, depending on the usage patterns.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify and obtain information about how the independent curriculum is implemented in madrasas and secondary schools. This article was written using a literature review method or literature study, namely combining several quotations from available scientific works. So that readers gain a new understanding of what independent curriculum is and how it is implemented in real terms. The results of this research show that the implementation of the curriculum in driving schools has been carried out optimally and is ongoing, although in its implementation there are still many shortcomings and obstacles. The key to success in implementing the curriculum in driving schools is the principal and teachers, the teachers must have the will to make changes. The school principal as a leader must be able to change the mindset of the Human Resources in the school to be willing to make changes so that the  independ curriculum can be implemented.The Merdeka Curriculum as an alternative curriculum overcomes learning setbacks during the pandemic which gives "Freedom to Learn" freedom to learning implementers, namely teachers and school principals, in preparing, implementing the learning process and developing curriculum in schools paying attention to students' needs and potential.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the independent learning curriculum to students' moral Al-qur`an  learning outcomes. The type of research used was qualitative, in the form of mid-semester exam results on the subject of Al-qur`an Morals and the research population and sample were class VII students with a total of 30 students. The research results show that the independent learning curriculum is implemented at Mts Madinatussalam in the even semesters. This research compares the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in odd semesters and the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in even semesters. The implementation of the independent learning curriculum is no longer based on themes but rather on subjects taught by each teacher based on an agreement on what field of study will be taught, the implementation of the independent curriculum is starting to be well adopted by students.
