Abstract

“Kupu-Kupu Terakhir” merupakan sebuah karya musik yang berjenis musik programa, karya musik ini memuat cerita tentang fenomena pencemaran udara dengan menggunakan bahasa musikal. Pencemaran udara yaitu sebuah bencana modern, sebuah bencana yang diakibatkan oleh kemajuan teknologi yang tidak dapat ditanggulangi dengan baik. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan bencana yang dahsyat bagi kelangsungan hidup manusia. Objek material yang digunakan pada karya ini dihasilkan dari proses interpretasi pengkarya terhadap hal-hal unik, menarik sekaligus hal memprihatinkan yang terdapat di lingkungan yang telah terpapar oleh pencemaran udara. Berdasarkan objek material tersebut, pengkarya membuat sebuah narasi musik yang menceritakan tentang kehidupan kupu-kupu normal yang terkena dampak dari pencemaran udara dan dimasuki oleh polutan, sehingga lama-kelamaan kupu-kupu tersebut akhirnya mati dan kehilangan tempat tinggalnya. Penciptaan pada karya ini diawali dengan melakukan penelitian terhadap lingkungan, khususnya udara dan mengidentifikasi karakteristik dari binatang kupu-kupu, polutan (unsur dan senyawa yang menciptakan polusi), dan suasana homeostasis (Keseimbangan lingkungan). Kemudian pada perwujudannya material tersebut diinterpretasikan menjadi bahasa musikal dengan menggunakan tekhnik penciptaan pada musik Barat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan beberapa analisis kritis tentang formulasi ritmis dan karakteristiknya dalam pembelajaran musik. Pembahasan Ritmis dalam pembelajaran musik menjadi sangat penting untuk dipelajari karena berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran musik pada tahap selanjutnya. Pendekatan Desain Based Research digunakan sebagai landasan awal dalam mengkaji formula ritmis dalam pembelajaran musik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah Teori Musik pada Prodi Pendidikan Musik, Universitas Negeri Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa karakteristik dalam jenis-jenis silabel ritmis. Salah satu karakteristik dari ritmis yang sering dijumpai adalah ketika mahasiswa tidak memahami secara menyeluruh tentang nilai atau durasi pada not, maka mahasiswa akan mengalami kendala dalam membaca ritmis dengan tepat. Selanjutnya, mahasiswa akan mengalami kendala dalam menuliskan notasi baik pada notasi balok maupun notasi angka. Seluruh karakteristik tersebut nantinya akan bermuara pada mata kuliah Praktik Instrumen Mayor. Penelitian ini masih pada tataran analisis singkat terkait dengan kendala yang dihadapi pada pembelajaran ritmis, sehingga diharapkan pembahasan tentang ritmis dapat dilakukan pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

In 2017 Handriva Fauzi founded the GADABAK! in South Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province as a tool to fulfill organizational needs for young people who have an interest in education, arts and culture, tourism and the environment. The research approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological design. The results of this study indicate that the life experience of institutional managers is a manifestation of the impetus that influences the emergence of decisions to take voluntary action as the basis for managing the institution.Keywords: voluntarism, non-formal education, development, community

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the emphasizing is on pulses understanding in the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation teaching material. The type of this research is a qualitative paradigm with a content analysis approach. The object of this research was the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book, and the research subject was pulse suppression contained in the drum practice material. The research instrument was the author itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, laptop, and mobile phone. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data types were primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed through practicing, analyzing, eliciting findings, describing findings, and making conclusion. The results show that the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book is a teaching material intended for students / drummers at the beginner stage (beginner) in the 10th & 9th grade. Therefore, Yamaha provides systematic learning and focuses on pulses as a reference for learning, so pulses are considered crucial. This study reveals the pulses implicitly stated in the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book where pulses are implemented in 3 forms of practice patterns which are mutually applied. The quarter pulses applied to stick control is a main foundation to orchestrate the pulses in the from of not subdivision, not variation, rhythm pattern, and the drum fill-in. The difference is on where the focus is located. So the research definitively has proven that there is emphasizing of pulses which are presented in various forms of practice patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the urgency of applying the long tone method in producing sound colour for trombone major students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Researchers found 7 categorizations, namely: the application of the long tone method is very influential for the trombonist, the benefits of the long tone method for the trombonist, the improvement of the ability to play the Trombone for the trombonist by applying the long tone method, the effect of the application of the long tone method on the ambasir, the facilities and infrastructure needed in the application of the long tone method, the allocation of time needed during practice to apply the long tone method well, and the obstacles to implementing long tone exercises. The application of the long tone method is an important part of the formation of a quality sound colour and must be carried out consistently, regularly, and with a commitment by the trombone students of Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Research on this writing to find out that how the technique of single stroke can be said as a basic technique in drumming. the purpose of this study is to see how important rudiment single stroke is too early learning drums. This research is qualitative descriptive research that reveals the current phenomenon. Single stroke technique as a researched object. The location of the research conducted is in the lecture environment of major drum Sendratasik Faculty of Language and Arts, Padang and Drum United Padang Community. Supported by research instruments that are researchers themselves. Techniques in data collection using observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of the study were found based on data from pre-field findings obtained through researcher assumptions and field finding data obtained through interview results to informants who are considered to know about single stroke. So the result of this research is rudiment single stroke technique is the basis at the beginning of drum learning because the technique is an easy technique to do than other rudiment techniques. It is also reinforced by the theory of dualism that is the technique of single stroke 2 substances are interrelated, this is about single stroke as the basis of practicing the balance of the left and right hands.

Abstract

Humanizing and civilizing society is one manifestation of education as a cultural process. The educational process allows for the exchange of information between subjective, intersubjective, and intrasubjective and inherits the nature of values, knowledge, and beliefs that function as a guide to meet human needs in the context of local entities. This article is a conceptual research that discusses the educational process that can occur through several concepts, namely internalization, socialization, and enculturation. In the process, education can be done in formal, informal, or non-formal ways. This article aims to reveal the importance of the values ​​contained in local entities and preserve them as a form of cultural manifestation based on knowledge, values, beliefs that can benefit the community. In a more specific context, this article brings up the discourse of art education as a civilizing process that utilizes art as a medium that has a strategic role in preserving and strengthening the local entity of a culture.

Abstract

The concept of beauty (aesthetic) as a central issue to reveal the meaningfulness of the value of a form of art or artwork, can not be done by generalizing. The emergence of the phenomenon of art with the term Sema in the Sufi order Naqsybandi Haqqani Jakarta can certainly be assumed as a transformation of the values of Tauhid education based on the aesthetic concept of Sufism in the domain of Islam, because the existence of Sufi orders in general only offer spiritual teachings (aims) to achieve purification of Tawheed. This research is included in qualitative paradigm with phenomenology approach. Through this research it is revealed that the love of divinity or platonic love based on Tawheed (esoteric) is the aesthetic concept of the Naqsybandi Sema tariqa Haqqani Jakarta as the manifestation of the consciousness of the perpetrators, which is awakened through spiritual training in the tarekat. Sema in the Naqsybandi Haqqani Order of Jakarta is also known to play the role of educational media in instilling the values of Tawheed through its beautiful symbols (exoteric) and meaningful Ketauhidan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the competence of music teachers who teach at SLB Mitra Ananda Padang Foundation. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The object of this research is a teacher who teaches music subjects at the SLB Mitra Ananda Foundation. Data collection techniques were carried out employing observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. Data analysis techniques are carried out by categorizing field data sources, bringing up findings from each field data category, bringing up the categorization of findings, and discussing findings with the theoretical basis used. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the teachers of creative interest in music at the SLB Mitra Ananda Padang Foundation have achieved the expected learning competencies. this is because the teacher has general competence and received a reference book from the principal of the SLB Foundation Mitra Ananda Padang, as a reference and guide for teaching children with special needs.

Abstract

Prodi Pendidikan Musik UNP tentu harus mampu memfasilitasi kebutuhan pembelajaran teori musik bagi mahasiswa secara optimal, mengingat perannya yang sangat fundamental. Namun faktanya, Prodi Pendidikan Musik UNP sampai saat ini (tahun kedua berjalan) masih belum memiliki modul pembelajaran teori musik yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran teori musik. Pertimbangan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran teori musik interaktif dengan memperhatikan gaya hidup mahasiswa saat ini, menjadi kunci bagi penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini, tim peneliti menerapkan metode penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE karena diyakini efektif untuk digunakan sebagai pengembangan modul pembelajaran interaktif
