Abstract

This study examines the problems of discipline, job stress and work compensation on employee performance. The researchers conducted the research project at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur. The total population of 150 people and 30 people were taken from the rest of the population for validity and reliability testing. Theories used to support research are human resource management theories related to discipline, work stress and compensation for performance. The research method used was a quantitative approach with quantitative descriptive research type. The data collection methods were interview, distribution of questionnaires and documentation study. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that discipline, work stress and compensation simultaneously and partially had a significant positive effect on employee performance with a determination coefficient of 48.4%.

Abstract

Yellow pumpkin is known by the public as just a pumpkin that is used only for processed cooking ingredients as vegetable ingredients lodeh or as kolak. While processed fruit meat is still very less to be used by the people. The purpose of this activity is to train people related to the innovation of processing yellow pumpkin into jam in Sekip Village. Processed pumpkin into jam can have a higher functional value. Making jam from pumpkin is one of the efforts to help housewives to have skills that can help their family finance in pandemic conditions. The methods of this activity is  socialization  in  the  form  of  lectures, discussions, questions and answers and train people to make jam. The results of this activity are the housewives can make jam from yellow pumkin and the formation of micro-businesses among the housewives.

Abstract

This research was conducted in PT Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of product quality, service quality and price on purchasing decisions for Mitsubishi cars in PT Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan. The decision to buy Mitsubishi cars has decreased. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population in this study amounted to 1376 customers and the sample amounted to 93 customers. The sampling technique of this research is simple random sampling. Testing the hypothesis partially obtained the value of tcount -0.710 <1.987 and the significance obtained is 0.480 > 0.05, meaning that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, namely partially Product Quality has no significant effect on purchasing decisions for Mitsubishi cars in PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan. Testing the hypothesis partially obtained the value of tcount -0.062 < 1.987 and the significance obtained is 0.951 > 0.05, meaning that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, namely partially Service Quality has no significant effect on purchasing decisions for Mitsubishi cars in PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan. Testing the hypothesis partially obtained the value of tcount -0.91 <1.987 and the significance obtained is 0.928> 0.05, meaning that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected that is partially the price has no significant effect on purchasing decisions for Mitsubishi cars in PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan. The results of the simultaneous test are Fcount = 0.168 < Ftable 2.71 and the significance probability is 0.918 > 0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, namely simultaneously Product Quality, Service Quality and Price have no significant effect on the Mitsubishi Car Purchase Decision variable in PT. Sardana Indah Berlian Motor Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how the influence of promotion, service quality, and product quality on the saving decision at Bank Sumut. decrease in customer levels was due to inappropriate promotions, service quality, and product quality. the sample in this research amount to 119 employees. The results of partial hypothesis testing obtained tcount>ttable 3,791 > 1,980 with a significant value of 0.016<0.05, tcount > ttable or 2,301 > 1,980 with a significant value of 0.021 < 0.05, and tcount > ttable or 4.931 > 1.980 with a significant value 0.000 < 0.05. Fcount (10.014) > Ftable (2.45) and significance probability 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination test obtained the Adjusted R Square value of 0.476, this means 47.6% of the dependent variable, namely the saving decision which can be explained by the independent variables, namely promotion, service quality, and product quality. The conclusion in this research is that partially and simultaneously the variables of promotion, service quality, and product quality have a positive and significant effect on saving decisions at Bank Sumut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment, training, and supervision. This type of research is explanatory research. The entire population is 211 employees. Due to a large number of population, the sampling technique will be reduced by using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 5% so that there are as many as 138 respondents in the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that recruitment, training, and supervision partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve the recruitment process, better training program, and better supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, product quality, and promotion on purchase decision at PT. Unikitz Bersatu Group Medan Branch. This type of research is explanatory research. The research population that will be used in the study are all consumers who make purchases at the company in 2020, which are 2,319 consumers. Due to the large number of population, the sampling technique will be reduced by using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 10% so that there are 96 respondents. In the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that service quality, product quality, and promotion partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchase decision at PT. Unikitz Bersatu Group Medan Branch. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve service quality, improve a better product quality, improve the promotion.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Kompetensi dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Anugrah Prima Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 129 karyawan. jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 98 karyawan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, ada tiga teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data mengunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data mengunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan dan parsial Disiplin Kerja, Kompetensi dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh postifi dan signifikanterhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Anugrah Prima Medan. Abstract

PT.  Dhamma Niaga Plastindo is a well-known manufacturer of HD/plastic bags of high density polyethylene (HDPE) as raw materials. However, the company consider the needs of human resources development, particularly in improving the employee’s competence. Human resource (HR) has a vital role in organization, for its own function in managing systems.  The human resources problems in this company is related to employees stress that may affect their work-performance. Concerning the employees job satisfaction, there are many aspects of the work of employees that should be improve to achieve their expectation. Contrary, the organization expects the high work-performance of employees. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive that featured with explanatory. The population in this study were 130 respondents. Total sample 98 were recognized by using the Slovin formula. Thirty respondents were used to testing the validity and reliability by simple random sampling. The results of the study showed that the competency, stress and job satisfaction simultaneously (Test F) has a positive effect on employee performance with Fcount 17.808 > Ftable 3.09.  Partially (t-test) revealed that competency has positive and significant influence on employee performance with tcount 1.672 > ttable 1.66105; while stress has positive and less significant effect on employee performance with tcount 0.368 <ttable 1.66105. However, the job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance with tcount 6,95> ttable 1.66105.  The Adjusted R Square is 0.342 implies that the competency, stress and job satisfaction affected the employees performance with a percentage level of 34.2%, while the remaining 65.8% is affected by another factor excluded in this research
