Abstract

Adolescence is the most unique period, a period that can be said to be the most critical period in development at the next stage of life. In adolescence, the formation of self-identity is very important because adolescents have a unique way of dealing with life. Providing social support during adolescence is very much needed, especially for adolescents who are in the search for self-identity. Providing social support can be provided by people closest to the youth environment. The environment plays a big role in shaping adolescent behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer social support and self-identity of young women at SMK Al Manaar Muhammadiyah Pemalang. This study uses the correlation method with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 30 with a total sampling technique. Respondents are XI grade students of SMK Al Manaar Muhammadiyah Pemalang. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between peer social support and self-identity of young women with a p value of 0.001 (<0.05). Teens are expected to provide support to each other both in terms of emotional, material, appreciation, and other support to improve self-identity.

Abstract

Abstrak: Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypty. Munculnya penyakit ini berkaitan dengan kondisi lingkungan termasuk cuaca dan perilaku masyarakat. Kurangnya pengetahuan warga mengenai perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat serta kurangnya pengetahuan warga tentang pencegahan penyakit DBD juga menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya penyakit DBD di Desa Karangmalang. Pemberian penyuluhan dan pendidikan kesehatan mengenai cara pencegahan penyakit DBD adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran dan kemampuan masyarakat agar hidup bersih dan sehat.Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan ceramah dan tanya jawab. Kegiatan penyuluhan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang penanggulangan penyakit DBD. Kegiatan pengabdian secara keseluruhan dapat dinilai baik dilihat dari 4 (empat) komponen, yaitu: keberhasilan jumlah peserta melebihi dari target karena banyak kader kesehatan yang antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini, ketercapaian tujuan penyuluhan (80%), ketercapaian target materi yang telah direncanakan (80%), dan kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi (75%). Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kader kesehatan dalam menanggulangi penyakit DBD yang dapat terjadi di lingkungan sekitar warga desa.Abstract: Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by dengue virus and is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypty mosquito. The emergence of this disease is related to environmental conditions including weather and people's behavior. Lack of knowledge of residents about clean and healthy living behavior and about preventing DHF are also one of the factors causing DHF in Karangmalang Village. Providing health education on how to prevent dengue fever is to increase knowledge, awareness and ability of the community to live clean and healthy. Counseling is done with lectures and questions and answers. Counseling activities can increase community knowledge and understanding of dengue disease prevention. The overall service activity can be judged good by the 4 (four) components, namely: the success of the number of participants exceeds the target because many health cadres are enthusiastic about participating in this activity, the achievement of extension goals (80%), achievement of planned material targets (80% ), and the ability of participants in mastering the material (75%). This counseling activity can increase the knowledge and understanding of health cadres in tackling DHF that can occur in the environment around villagers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE MEDIA MY CONFIDENT BOOK AGAINST THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL EARLY CHILDHOOD IN RAUDATUL ATHFAL AL-MUTTAQIN KARANGWULUH DISTRICT SURADADI Introduction : Early childhood is an individual that is different, unique and has its own characteristics according to their age stages. At this time the stimulation of all aspects of its development has an important role in the task of further development. social emotional early childhood is a child's learning process, where children can interact with others according to existing social rules, and so that children can control their feelings. The development of social skills is applied, one of which educators can use a learning model with the play method using the My Confident Book media. Purpose : This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of My Confident Book media on the social emotional development of early childhood in Raudhatul Athfal Al Muttaqin Karangwuluh, Suradadi District. Method : This study used a pre experimental design method with the type of pre test and post test one group design. Data were observed and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test (pretest and posttest tests). Result : The social emotional development of early childhood before being given the My Confident Book media was 17.5 and after being given the My Confident Book media it showed an average of 20.2, It can be concluded that there is an effect of My Confident Book media on children's social emotional development and there is a significant difference in P-value 0.00 <(α = 0.05) regarding children's social emotional development before and after being given the intervention in the form of My Confident Book media.Conclusion : My Confident Book can be developed as media that can increase social emotional ability of the children.   Keywords: Social Emotional, My Confident Book, Early Childhood INTISARI : EFEKTIVITAS MEDIA MY CONFIDENT BOOK TERHADAP SOSIAL EMOSIONAL ANAK USIA DINI DI RAUDHATUL ATHFAL AL-MUTTAQIN KARANGWULUH KECAMATAN SURADADI Latar belakang : Anak usia dini merupakan individu yang berbeda, unik dan memiliki karakteristik tersendiri sesuai dengan tahapan usianya. Pada masa ini stimulasi seluruh aspek perkembangannya memiliki peran penting untuk tugas perkembangan selanjutnya. Sosial emosional anak usia dini merupakan proses belajar anak, dimana anak dapat berinteraksi dengan orang lain sesuai dengan aturan sosial yang ada, dan agar anak mampu mengendalikan perasaannya. Perkembangan keterampilan sosial emosional pada anak usia dini terdapat banyak metode dan teknik yang dapat diterapkan, salah satunya pendidik dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran dengan metode bermain dengan menggunakan media My Confident Book. Tujuan : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media My Confident Book terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal Al Muttaqin Karangwuluh Kecamatan Suradadi.Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre experimental design dengan jenis pre test and post test one group design. Data diobservasi dan dianalisa menggunakan Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test (uji pretest dan posttest).Hasil : Perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini sebelum diberikan media My Confident Book adalah 17,5 dan setelah diberikan media My Confident Book menunjukan rata-rata 20,2. dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian media My Confident Book terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak dan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan P-value 0.00 < (α=0.05) tentang perkembangan sosial emosional anak sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi berupa media My Confident Book.Kesimpulan : My Confident Book  dapat dikembangkan sebagai media yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak.Kata Kunci: Sosial Emosional, My Confident Book, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Background : The School Safety Patrol Activity (PKS) is a learning media for students to socialize in an environment outside the school, where children learn to be more sensitive to various actions that occur in the surrounding environment. The form of PKS students' participation in their school in addition to the activities that PKS routinely conducts also needs to be briefed on emergency handling because emergency events can occur anytime and anywhere including in the school environment. This simulation was carried out aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of PKS members in handling victims of emergency cases in the environment around the school.Method :Simulations were conducted using lecture and demonstration method on: (a) primary and secondary examinations, (b) triage, (c) evacuation of victims and (d) transportation of emergency patients.Result : (1) simulation activities can increase PKS members 'knowledge and understanding in handling emergency cases, (2) enhancing PKS members' knowledge and understanding is done by delivering material, (3) not all PKS members can practice simulated actions due to time constraints. The overall service activites can be judged good by the 4 (four) components, namely: the success of the number of participants exceeds the target because many students are enthusiastic about participating in this activity, the achievement of training objectives (80%), achievement of planned material targets (80%) , and the ability of participants in mastering the material (70%).Conclution: This simulation activity can improve students' knowledge and skills in dealing with emergency conditions that can occur in the environment around the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of cold compress (ice gel) to reduce episiotomy wound pain in post partum patients at RSUD Dr. Soeselo Tegal Regency. This research method is a descriptive method with the research design being a case study. The results of the case study study with cold compress therapy (ice gel) had a significant influence in reducing the scale of pain in post partum patients with episiotomy wound pain. There was a decrease in the pain scale of the two respondents, namely the level of the pain scale before being given cold compress therapy (ice gel) in patient 1 pain scale 6 and patient 2 pain scale 7, after being given cold compress therapy (ice gel) for 3 days to both patients the pain scale dropped to 2. The application of cold compress (ice gel) is recommended to be done 3 times a day for 3 days with a duration of 5-10 minutes at a temperature of 15o C to reduce pain. In conclusion, cold compress therapy (ice gel) can reduce episiotomy wound pain in post partum patients.Keywords : Pain, Episiotomy, Cold Compress.

Abstract

Infection a virus known as coronavirus has hit various countries in the world. Several types of coronavirus are known to cause respiratory tract infections in humans ranging from colds to more serious coughs. The spread of this virus is increasing very rapidly. This is because the virus can spread from person to person through droplets from the nose or mouth that come out when an infected person talks, sneezes, or coughs. One of the efforts to prevent Covid 19 infection is to adopt a clean and healthy lifestyle. The application of clean and healthy living habits in schools is also very important to ensure the health and safety of children while studying during the Covid 19 pandemic. One of the indicators of a Clean and Healthy Life Behavior is “Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS)”. CTPS is one of the sanitation measures by cleaning hands and fingers using soap and water to make them clean. One of the media used in counseling is a booklet containing writing accompanied by pictures. The extension activity was attended by 26 people and began with the delivery of definitions, signs and symptoms, supporting examinations, prevention and treatment and then the practice of washing hands with soap and accompanied by the use of booklet media. The students listened carefully to the sequence of steps described by paying attention to the CTPS steps as listed in the given booklet. The use of booklet media helps in improving the skills of students and teachers and it is hoped that the implementation of CTPS will become a habit in everyday life. Abstract

Wabah infeksi Covid 19 begitu sangat mengguncang masyarakat dunia, hingga lebih dari 200 Negara di Dunia terjangkit oleh virus ini termasuk Indonesia. Berbagai upaya pencegahan penyebaran virus Covid-19 pun dilakukan oleh pemerintah di negara-negara di dunia guna memutus rantai penyebaran virus Covid-19 ini, dengan berbagai cara yakni dengan menjalankan protokol kesehatan, lockdown dan social distancing. Pendidikan di Indonesia pun menjadi salah satu bidang yang terdampak akibat adanya pandemi covid-19 tersebut. Dengan adanya pembatasan interaksi, Kementerian Pendidikan di Indonesia juga mengeluarkan kebijakan yaitu dengan meliburkan sekolah dan mengganti proses Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dengan menggunakan sistem dalam jaringan (daring). Penerapan pembelajaran online juga membuat pendidik berpikir kembali, mengenai model dan metode pembelajaran yang akan digunakan. Berbagai permasalahan yang timbul tersebut dapat menimbulkan kecemasan pada guru, karena guru di tuntut memahami perubahan-perubahan sosial yang serba cepat sebagai konsekuensi, kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang telah mempengaruhi nilai-nilai moral, etika, gaya hidup, dimana tidak semua orang mampu menyesuaikan diri. Kegiatan penyuluhan dihadiri oleh 10 orang guru dan diawali dengan penyampaian tentang kecemasan meliputi definisi, penyebab, dan klasifikasi. Penyampaian materi tentang Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) meliputi definisi, manfaat, serta teknik pelaksanaan sertademonstrasi EFT dan disertai penggunaan media booklet. Para guru menyimak dengan baik urutan langkah yang dijelaskan dengan memperhatikan langkah-langkah EFT sesuai yang tercantum pada booklet yang diberikan. Penerapan EFT dapat mengurangi kecemasan yang dialami para guru dalam menghadapi pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Virus corona dapat dengan mudah menyebar dan menginfeksi siapapun tanpa pandang usia. Upaya pemutusan rantai penyebaran covid-19 memerlukan pemahaman dan pengetahuan yang baik dari seluruh elemen masyarakat. Pengetahuan tentang penyakit juga diberikan pada semua rentang usia masyarakat termasuk pada anak-anak yang salah satunya pada anak usia dini. Anak usia dini memiliki rentang usia yang sangat berharga dibandingkan usia-usia selanjutnya karena perkembangan kecerdasan yang sangat pesat. Dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada anak usia dini, para guru memerlukan media pembelajaran atau materi sehingga informasi yang disampaikan dengan mudah dipahami oleh anak. Media Booklet merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran berupa media cetak yang kategorinya masuk dalam media visual karena isinya berupa foto atau gambar dan tulisan sehingga anak akan banyak menggali informasi dari Booklet tersebut. Kegiatan penyuluhan diikuti oleh 24 anak siswa TK B (usia 5-6 tahun) dan diawali dengan penyampaian tentang penyakit covid-19 dengan media booklet meliputi definisi, tanda & gejala serta pencegahannya, serta demonstrasi cuci tangan dan cara pakai masker yang benar. Para siswa TK menyimak dengan baik materi yang dijelaskan dengan memperhatikan gambar dan tulisan yang tercantum pada booklet yang diberikan. Pengunaan booklet covid-19 dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman anak terkait penyakit covid-19.
