Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of work motivation and work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, among employees of Bank Mandiri Gunungtua Branch Office. A quantitative approach was employed involving 45 respondents, and the data were analyzed using multiple regression and mediation analysis. The results indicate that work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee performance (t = 1.031; Sig. = 0.308). In contrast, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 4.856; Sig. = 0.000; B = 1.045). Job satisfaction also shows a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a path coefficient of 0.742. Furthermore, work motivation (B = 0.217; Sig. = 0.020) and work environment (B = 0.756; Sig. = 0.000) are proven to significantly influence job satisfaction. Sobel test results reveal that job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between work environment and employee performance (Z = 2.572). Overall, the findings suggest that improving employee performance is more effectively achieved through optimizing the work environment and strengthening job satisfaction.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to find out how PT JNE Cabang Utama Medan's leadership, working conditions, and physical plant affect the company's productivity. Analytical and quantitative approaches were utilized in this study. For the purpose of data collection, the study asked 55 randomly selected individuals to fill out surveys. To create primers, we turned to SPSS version 24's data extraction methodologies. We used multiple linear regression to look for correlations in the data between the dependent and independent variables. According to the results, workers are significantly more efficient when they have good leadership, a nice place to work, and enough tools. The regression analysis yielded a result of 0.203. A t-value of 2.307 was considered statistically significant at the 0.025 level. With t-statistic = 6.218 and regression = 0.000, operational facilities are defined as follows: 0.454. A regression value of 0.399 and a thitung value of 4.226 define the penalty at a significance level of 0.000. The Fhitung and Sig. values were 300.417 at the same time. Among the many factors influencing workers' output, supervision stands out with the highest regression value. The workplace, its facilities, and management account for 94.3% of the variation in employee output, according to a revised R² of 0.943. The correlation between the two variables is highly significant, with an R-value of 0.973.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to determine the influence of work facilities and work motivation on employee performance at the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office. The research approach used is associative and quantitative. This study employed multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study consisted of 47 respondents. Primary data collection used a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the t count value was 3.475 and the t table was 2.015368, so the t count > t table (3.475 > 2.015368) with sig. 0.001 < 0.05 so that the results of the study accepted H1. It can be explained that the work facilities variable (X1) has an effect on the employee performance variable (Y). The test results showed a t count value of 6.364 and the t table of 2.015368, so the t count > t table (6.364 > 2.015368) with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 so that the results of the study accepted H2. It can be explained that the work motivation variable (X2) has an effect on employee performance (Y). The test results showed the ft table value at a significant confidence level of 0.05 was 3.20, thus the results of the SPSS calculation obtained f count = 31.911 > ft table 3.20 with sig. 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that H3 is accepted. Where the variables of work facilities (X1) and work motivation (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, training, and the work environment on employee performance at PT. Alfa Scorpi Medan. The research problem stems from low employee performance, as evidenced by unmet work targets, suboptimal task execution, and a gap between company standards and actual employee performance. Additionally, the results of the pre-survey indicate that work discipline has not been fully implemented, training has not been effective, and the work environment is not conducive. This study employs a quantitative approach using an associative method. The population consists of all 40 employees at PT. Alfa Scorpi Medan, with a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis utilized multiple linear regression, including validity and reliability tests, as well as classical assumption tests. The results indicate that, individually, work discipline, training, and the work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Collectively, these three variables also have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This suggests that improving work discipline, enhancing the effectiveness of training, and fostering a conducive work environment can optimally boost employee performance.
