Abstract

The research objective is to analyze the Blue Oceans Strategy method approach to improve strategy development for the Small and Medium Bamboo Industry in Binjai City. Woven crafts are one of the most abundant businesses in the SME sector, both rattan and bamboo handicrafts have dominated the activities of SMEs in Binjai City. The woven crafts are spread in 5 (five) sub-districts in Binjai City. Their business has grown more than 15 years ago, they have participated in many exhibitions or workshops outside the city to national. The fluctuating development of woven crafts is due to the large demand for woven bamboo and rattan goods. The data processing and analysis method used was through a post-positivism research approach, namely qualitative research. The method of analysis in this study uses a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, in forming a strategy for developing SMEs and Bamboo cooperatives with the ocean strategy and blue ocean strategy models in Binjai City. The competitive strategy used by the Small and Medium Shell Industry in Binjai City at this time is to identify competitive factors in the industry which consist of product uniqueness, a touch of art, done in detail, proximity to sources of raw materials, strategic location, availability of labor, Creativity, Prices are not fixed on market prices, Can be used as souvenirs, Skills and skills of employees, Attractiveness and impact after participating in exhibitions, Sensitivity to market choices, Organizational commitment, Work environment, Availability of online order facilities, Experience and managerial skills, Product orders completed on time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the system and procedures for giving home ownership loans (KPR) at PT. Bank BRI Syariah Medan Branch, and To find out whether home ownership loans (KPR) at PT. Medan Branch BRI Syariah Bank has / has not been in accordance with murabahah financing agreement with MUI DSN Fatwa No.04 / DSN-MUI / IV / 2000. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach which is a way to understand the related phenomena by providing a detailed understanding of the phenomenon. This study only analyzes the system and procedures for mortgage loans with murabahah financing contracts and is completed by conducting interviews directly with five (5) employees in the Account Officer PT. Bank BRI Syariah Medan Branch regarding the System and Procedure for implementing Home Ownership Loan to strengthen the results of the research. The results of this study indicate that the system and procedures for home ownership loans with murabahah financing contracts at PT. Bank BRI Syariah Medan Branch, gave a decision to evaluate the application for home ownership loans with the 5C principle as a basis for consideration. The next stage is, the procedure for KPR financing, analysis of KPR applications, approval of KPR financing applications, disbursement of KPR financing applications, and monitoring of repayment of KPR financing for which all KPR systems and procedures have been arranged and are in accordance with MUI DSN Fatwa No.04 / DSN- MUI / IV / 2000.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing the activities of the Universitas Pembangunan Pancabudi Medan so far has been to implement an organizational culture in accordance with the university's vision and mission that can be implemented by seven basic values. The current conditions are still uneven socialization and employee understanding of the organizational culture that is applied. The results of the implementation of community service applied to employees of the Pancabudi Development University Medan show that the employees' understanding of organizational culture has been implemented which can improve the quality of their work by giving members an organizational identity, making the organization recognized as an innovative organization by developing new products. Organizational identity shows characteristics that distinguish it from other organizations that have different characteristics. Facilitating collective commitment, the organization is able to make its work proud to be a part of itself. Organizational members have a shared commitment to organizational norms that need to be followed and shared goals that need to be achieved.

Abstract

This study is to show and analyze the relationship between work stress and work motivation on employee performance during the current Covid 19 pandemic. The population in this study is PT Fast Food Indonesia Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Gajah Mada Branch in Medan City. The number of samples in this study was 54 people who were employees of the company. with the analysis technique using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study (1) the results showed that partially the work stress variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at KFC Branch Gajah Mada. (2) The results showed that partially the work motivation variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at KFC Branch Gajah Mada.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of interpersonal relationships and work effectiveness on public service quality in the National SAR Agency (BASARNAS). This research is a quantitative research using 53 respondents as the samples. A multiple regression analysis was used to analyse the data. The research findings indicate that the interpersonal relationships and work effectiveness have a positive and significant effect on the public services quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and job design on employee performance in the plantation sector of PT. Langkat Pratama Green Palm Oil, Langkat Province, North Sumatra, Indonesia. This research is an explanation of two independent variables (compensation and work design) and the dependent variable is employee performance. Questionnaires were distributed to employees of PT. Langkat Green Palm Oil Primer. A total of 87 employees from the plantation sector consisting of managerial and non-managerial staff responded to the survey. The survey questionnaire has 22 items covering human resource management practices and employee performance. This study found that compensation and work design have a positive relationship with employee performance. If the plantation sector organization wants to improve employee performance to a higher level, it should focus more on improving compensation and work design. This study helps improve employee performance collectively by implementing human resource practices rather than individually. By understanding the impact of human resource management practices on employee performance, employees can take more appropriate actions to reduce risk. This research will help organizations to find out which practices encourage creativity in organizations. In this study will be able to obtain, and maintain a competitive workforce as a valuable organizational asset. Future researchers can take more human resource practices and examine their impact on employee performance. The questionnaire technique used in this study is a very general technique. Other techniques such as group discussions/interviews can be used to conduct future research. Future researchers may add mediators or other human resource practices and may examine the relationship differently through different methods. Managers can use this data to improve their effectiveness in their organizations by focusing on human resource practices such as compensation and work design that affect employee performance.Keywords: HRM Practices, Compensation; Work Design; Employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reward and punishment on the employee performance of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia. In this study uses a quantitative approach, with sample of 25 respondents. The data analysis technique use is multiple regression analysis which serves to prove the research hypothesis. Based on results, the t count value of the reward variable is 0,251, it can be concluded that the reward has not significant effect on the performance of employee of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia. The t count value of the punishment variable is 0,018, it can be concluded the punishment variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employee PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia.  Reward and punishment simultaneously has a positive effect on performance of employee of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia. The results R square is 70,7%, which means that the reward and punishment variable has an effect on performance of employee variable. While the remaining 29,3% has an effect by other variable not in this study. Keywords: punishment, reward, employee performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product, price, location, and service partially and simultaneously on the decision to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. The form of research used is quantitative research. The data used is primary data. This study uses 100 respondents as the research sample and the sample selection technique is Accendential Sampling with the criteria of consumers who have made purchases to KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. The data analysis technique used is instrument test (validity and reliability) and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the results show that the product, price, location, and service partially have a positive and significant effect on consumer behavior in making decisions to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan. Product, price, location, and service simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to buy fast food at KFC Jalan Gajah Mada Medan.Keywords: Product, Price, Location, Service and Purchase Decision.

Abstract

This research was conducted to explain the partial or simultaneous influence of competence, motivation, and communication variables on the performance of the Medan District Court's employees. The total population used was 65 respondents who worked at the Medan District Court Office which was taken using a questionnaire that was used as a data collection method in this study. Where using multiple linear regression analysis and the results of the analysis show that there is a simultaneous significant effect between the three variables, and a partially significant influence between the variables of competence, motivation, and communication on the performance of Medan District Court employees.
