Abstract

One of the Japanese work culture that is widely applied in many countries is 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Siso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke ). 5S not only practice in company activity but also in life activity. In company especially at manufacturing industry, 5S practice will produce qualified product. Although 5S culture easy to understand and simple, but it is need a consistency and very difficult to be applied. Therefore, practice of 5S especially 5S habituations not only practice in company but also in many educational institution for example school, university and orphanage.

Abstract

UMKM is one of the pillars of the national economy. UMKM has great potential to continue to grow and develop despite the market trends that are starting to shift from offline to online. Therefore, it takes effort to provide ways and strategies to sell online. This community service was held with the aim to provide an understanding of the online marketing of UMKM products. The method used in online socialization is in the form of lectures, discussions, and questions about Online UMKM Product Marketing, which is divided into two sessions with two different subthemes: the first session with the title "UMKM in Pandemic Era: Why Should Online?" and the second session with the title "Successful in Selling With Whatsapp". The results of the activity showed that the participants followed enthusiastically and were interested in this socialization theme. The conclusion that can be drawn is the utilization of technology is very necessary for online marketing. In addition, the right marketing strategy is needed by utilizing social media optimally. Whatsapp is one of the media that is widely used by the people of Indonesia. By utilizing Whatsapp Business, we can easily promote UMKM products.

Abstract

(Title: Early Brainstorming With Origami For Children) The purpose of this paper is to uncover the usefulness of origami as an effective way of early brainstorming for children. The method used is to involve the children in the origami training activities as a form of community service. Training is not done in the usual way, but done principally on the four basic brainstorming guidelines so that the nature of the training is not up-bottom but bottom-up. This principle is not done strictly considering the participants are children. This means that mentor involvement is still needed to encourage participants to come up with ideas on how to fold the paper and shape it into the intended shape effectively and efficiently. The result of this training is origami can be an alternative way in improving creativity and courage of children in expressing ideas.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam era industri 0.4 ini keberadaan bahasa Asing sangat dibutuhkan sekali untuk komunikasi dan tentu saja memahami budaya dari negara lain. Salah satunya adalah bahasa Jepang. Untuk memahami kosa kata dalam Bahasa Jepang, kita harus memahami terlebih dulu huruf /tulisannya. Tulisan bahasa Jepang berasal dari tulisan bahasa China yang diperkenalkan pada abad keempat Masehi. Huruf Jepang ada 4 jenis, yaitu hiragana, katakana dan kanji serta romaji. Huruf/aksara ini sering kita temukan di film animasi, anime, manga , drama Jepang dan lain-lain.Bahasa Jepang yang kita kenal sekarang ini, ditulis dengan menggunakan kombinasi aksara kanji, hiragana, dan katakana. Kanji dipakai untuk menyatakan arti dasar dari kata (baik berupa kata benda, kata kerja, kata sifat). Hiragana ditulis sesudah kanji untuk mengubah arti dasar dari kata tersebut, dan menyesuaikannya dengan peraturan tata bahasa Jepang. Aksara hiragana dan katakana masing-masing memiliki 46 huruf. Keduanya tidak memiliki arti apapun, seperti abjad dalam bahasa Indonesia, hanya melambangkan suatu bunyi tertentu, meskipun ada juga kata-kata dalam bahasa Jepang yang terdiri dari satu 'suku kata'. Kanji dipakai untuk menyatakan arti dasar dari kata, baik berupa kata benda, kata kerja, kata sifat, atau kata sandang. Sementara Hiragana ditulis sesudah kanji untuk mengubah arti dasar dari kata tersebut, dan menyesuaikannya dengan peraturan tata bahasa Jepang.Kata kunci : Alphabet, hiragana,katakana,kanji,romajiABSTRACTIn this industrial era 0.4, the existence of foreign languages is very much needed for communication and of course understanding the culture of other countries. One of them is Japanese. To understand vocabulary in Japanese, we must first understand the letters / writings. Japanese writing comes from Chinese writing which was introduced in the fourth century. There are 4 types of Japanese letters, namely hiragana, katakana, kanji,and romaji. We often find these letters/characters in animated films, anime, manga, Japanese dramas and others. The Japanese language we know today, is written using a combination of kanji, hiragana, and katakana characters. Kanji are used to express the basic meaning of words (either in the form of nouns, verbs, adjectives). Hiragana is written after the kanji to change the basic meaning of the word, and adapt it to the rules of Japanese grammar. The hiragana and katakana characters each have 46 letters. Abstract

Dalam rangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dosen dan mahasiswa dari jurusan Bahasa dan Kebudayaan Jepang, Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Undip melakukan kegiatan pelatihan denga judul “Pelatihan Penambahan Subtitle Pada Anime Jepang”.  Pelatihan dibagi ke dalam dua sesi dan disajikan dalam bentuk presentasi dan praktek. Metode pelatihan adalah metode simulasi dengan penyampaian presentasi dalam bentuk ppt, praktek, dan tanya jawab. Pada sesi pertama, peserta dijelaskan mengenai definisi dari subtitle, dua metode membuat subtitle, praktik membuat subtitle dengan notepad, dan praktik membuat subtitle dengan aplikasi Aegisub. Pada sesi ke-2 ini dijelaskan tiga tahap dalam membuat fansub anime secara garis besar, yaitu tahap awal, tahap inti, dan tahap akhir. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan ini. Mereka juga menjadi paham cara menambahkan subtitle pada anime Jepang.Kata kunci: Penambahan Subtitle, Anime Jepang, Fansub Anime In the context of community service, lecturers and students from the Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Undip conducted a training activity with the title "Training on Adding Subtitles to Japanese Anime".  The training is divided into two sessions and presented in the form of presentations and practices. The training method is simulation method, to deliver presentations in the form of ppt, practice, and question and answer. In the first session, participants were explained about the definition of subtitles, two methods of making subtitles, the practice of making subtitles with a notepad, and the practice of making subtitles with the Aegisub application.  In this 2nd session, three stages are explained in making anime fansubs in general, namely the initial stage, the core stage, and the final stage.  The results of the mentoring showed that the participants were very enthusiastic in participating in this training activity. Abstract

SDGs merupakan suatu rencana aksi global yang disepakati oleh para pemimpin dunia, termasuk Indonesia, guna mengakhiri kemiskinan, mengurangi kesenjangan, dan melindungi lingkungan. Salah satu tujuan dari SDGs berbunyi “Mencapai kesetaraan gender dan memberdayakan semua perempuan dan anak perempuan”. Percepatan SDGs dapat dicapai melalui pelibatan anak muda karena mereka adalah penentu pembangunan masa depan, sehingga pengaruh anak muda sangat signifikan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang  menyasar anak-anak muda ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya pemberdayaan perempuan dan hal-hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk merealisasikan upaya tersebut, serta untuk mengajak anak-anak muda untuk aktif berperan serta dalam upaya pemberdayaan perempuan di lingkungan sekitar mereka. Media yang dipilih untuk kegiatan berupa film animasi berjudul “Kaguyahime no Monogatari” atau Dongeng Putri Kaguya, mengingat film merupakan hal yang dekat dengan keseharian anak muda, sehingga diharapkan akan lebih mudah dalam membuat mereka turut berperan serta secara aktif dalam mencapai Tujuan 05 dari SDGs.Kata kunci: SDGs; Tujuan 05; kesetaraan gender; pemberdayaan perempuan; Kaguyahime no Monogatari The SDGs are a global action plan agreed by world leaders, including Indonesia, to end poverty, reduce inequality, and protect the environment. One of the goals of the SDGs reads, “Achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls”. The acceleration of the SDGs can be achieved through the involvement of young people because they are the determinants of future development, so the influence of young people is very significant. Therefore, this community service activity that targets young people aims to provide socialization about the importance of empowering women and what can be done to realize these efforts and actively invite young people to participate in women empowering efforts. The media chosen for the activity was an animated film entitled “Kaguyahime no Monogatari” or Tale Putri Kaguya, considering that film is close to the daily life of young people, so it is hoped that it will be easier for them to participate actively in achieving Goal 05 of the SDGs.Keywords: SDGs; Goal 05; gender equality; women empowering; Kaguyahime no Monogatari

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi dan perilaku konsumtif mengakibatkan terjadinya eksploitasi terhadap sumber daya alam untuk memenuhi hasrat konsumen. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sosialisasi dan penyadaran agar masyarakat dapat mengembangkan perilaku yang lebih bijak dan lebih ramah lingkungan sebagai upaya menekan laju eksploitasi sumber daya alam, yang dapat dicapai melalui pelibatan anak muda karena mereka adalah penentu pembangunan masa depan, sehingga pengaruh anak muda sangat signifikan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang  menyasar anak-anak muda ini memiliki tujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya perilaku yang ramah lingkungan dan hal-hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya mendukung serta merealisasikan perilaku ramah lingkungan, dan juga untuk mengajak anak muda agar aktif berperan serta dalam upaya mendukung dan merealisasikan perilaku yang ramah lingkungan di lingkungan terdekat mereka. Media yang dipilih untuk kegiatan ini berupa film drama berjudul Survival Family. Dari diskusi dengan partisipan, dapat diketahui bahwa berbagai perilaku ramah lingkungan dan manfaatnya sebenarnya cukup dipahami oleh semua orang. Namun demikian, untuk menerapkan perilaku ramah lingkungan ini kembali pada kesadaran masing-masing pribadi.Kata kunci: remaja; perilaku; film; lingkungan; Survival FamilyABSTRACTTechnological developments and consumptive behavior have resulted in exploiting natural resources to fulfill consumer desires. As a result, there is a need for socialization and awareness for people to develop wiser and more environmentally friendly behavior to reduce the exploitation of natural resources, which can be accomplished by involving young people because they are the determinants of future development and thus have a significant influence. Therefore, this community service activity that targets young people has the aim of providing socialization regarding the importance of environmentally friendly behavior and things that can be done to support and realize ecologically friendly demeanor, and also to encourage young people to actively participate in efforts to support and recognize environmentally friendly behavior in their immediate environment. The media chosen for this activity was a drama film entitled Survival Family. From discussions with participants, it can be seen that everyone understands various environmentally friendly behaviors and their benefits. Abstract

Japanese Caligraphy – Shodo, is a work of art that expresses the beauty of kanji characters on paper by writing using brushstrokes. The art of calligraphy is popular in Japan from elementary school children to the elderly and already widespread in the world. The tools used during shodo include shitajiki, bunchin, suzuri, sumi, and fude. At the beginning of  shodo, one must pay attention to his posture and hand to get good results. It is strongly advised so that the result can be as good as it is written with Japanese brush/fude. There are some various kinds of Japanese shodo, such as kaishou, gyousho, shousho. Usually shodo can be seen in some Japanese traditional events, such as Japanese wedding ceremony, Japanese tea ceremony room, in houses during new year, etc.
