Abstract

Ethical dilemmas are associated with business, and identifying these ethical dilemmas is a key aspect of Islamic marketing strategy. In terms of terminology, business ethics is also called the science of good or bad behaviour regarding values. In simple terms, business ethics is an economic science that is often forgotten by society. Related to the existence of resistance due to irrational use of drugs, one of them is caused by use that is not by the patient's clinical conditions which occurs due to the use of antibiotics without a doctor's prescription. This occurs because it is easy for people to obtain antibiotics without considering or getting recommendations from authorized health workers, especially doctors (Ihsan et al., 2016). The purpose of this article is to explain Islamic ethics in business based on Islamic principles in health services when purchasing antibiotics without a doctor's prescription at pharmacies. The search method for scientific articles used as literature in this review is through the scientific journal article websites ScienceDirect, Scholar, Harzing Publish or Perish using the keywords "Islamic philosophical ethics"; “Islamic business ethics”; "antibiotics without a doctor's prescription". The importance of Islamic business ethics in antibiotic buying and selling transactions for patient health in using antibiotics appropriately to prevent antibiotic resistance and encouraging understanding of pharmacies to comply with health laws.

Abstract

Pucung Village is one of the villages in Kismantoro Subdistrict, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java Province. The position of Pucung Village, which is located in the highlands and mountains, makes this area have a lot of tourism potential, such as the Watu Adeg Skyview tour. Watu Adeg Peak in Pucung Village is now a new tourist attraction in the eastern region of Wonogiri Regency that presents the beauty of the natural panorama of the border area between Central Java and East Java. From Watu Adeg Peak, visitors can see a panoramic view of Mount Lawu and the eastern region of Wonogiri. The development of tourism villages has become an important focus in efforts to advance the local tourism sector. In today's digital era, information and communication technology plays a central role in expanding the reach of promotion and enhancing interaction with local communities. This article presents a case study of the development of a tourism village website as a means to combine technology with tourism development and community empowerment efforts in Pucung Village. Through an in-depth analysis of the implementation of the village tourism website, the strategic steps in designing, developing and launching this online platform are highlighted. The results of this study illustrate the positive impacts generated and better interactions with the local community were also observed, helping in strengthening community identity and participation in the holistic development of the tourism village. In conclusion, the development of a tourism village website provides valuable insights into how the application of technology can strengthen the local tourism sector while supporting community engagement and cultural preservation.

Abstract

Transmission line reconductoring is one of the strategic solutions to increase the capacity and efficiency of the power system without the need to build new infrastructure. This study aims to analyze and compare the performance of two types of conductors, namely ACSR Hawk and ACCC Amsterdam, used in the Suralaya-Cilegon 500 kV SUTET transmission line. The comparison is carried out by considering technical aspects including power losses, ampacity, horizontal and vertical sag values, and overall energy efficiency. The research methodology involved a literature study, collection of conductor technical data, calculation of resistance, current, and power losses, and simulation of sag values against temperature variations. In addition, economic analysis and field implementation aspects were also considered to assess the feasibility of using each conductor. The results show that Amsterdam's ACCC conductor has superior technical performance compared to Hawk's ACSR. ACCC is capable of delivering currents up to ±1300 A, compared to ACSR Hawk which is only ±800 A. The power loss value using ACCC is recorded at ±1.34 MW, lower than ACSR Hawk at ±1.79 MW. In addition, ACCC exhibits smaller sag values due to its lighter weight and higher tensile stress, making it more stable against temperature fluctuations. In terms of energy efficiency, the use of ACCC can save energy up to ±3942 MWh per year. By considering the technical advantages and long-term energy efficiency, this study recommends the use of Amsterdam ACCC as a reconductoring solution for high-voltage transmission lines, especially in systems that have high loads and require maximum reliability and efficiency.

Abstract

Medical students are vulnerable to unhealthy lifestyles, such as low physical activity and smoking habits, including the use of electronic cigarettes. This study aimed to determine the levels of physical activity, smoking habits, and nicotine dependence among medical students of Universitas Tarumanagara, class of 2022–2023. This research employed a cross-sectional design involving a total of 60 respondents. Physical activity was assessed using the IPAQ-SF, smoking habits with the Brinkman Index, and nicotine dependence with the PS-ECDI. The results showed that among the medical students of Universitas Tarumanagara, 59 students (98.3%) had low physical activity and 1 student (1.7%) had moderate physical activity. Based on the Brinkman Index, 29 students (96.7%) were categorized as light smokers and 1 student (3.3%) as a moderate smoker. Of the 36 students who used electronic cigarettes, 1 student (2.8%) had low nicotine dependence, 7 students (19.4%) had moderate dependence, and 28 students (77.8%) had high dependence. In conclusion, 98.3% of students had low physical activity, 96.7% were light smokers, and 77.8% of e-cigarette users had high nicotine dependence.
