Abstract

Hotel adalah perusahaan atau badan usaha akomodasi yang menyediakan pelayanan jasa penginapan, penyedia makanan dan minuman serta fasilitas jasa lainnya dimana semua pelayanan itu diperuntukkan bagi masyarakat umum, baik mereka yang bermalam di hotel tersebut ataupun mereka yang hanya menggunakan fasilitas tertentu yang dimiliki hotel tersebut. Pada saat ini penggunaan saklar on/off alat elektronik seperti lampu dan juga AC (air conditioner) pada kamar hotel masih menggunakan proses manual begitu juga dengan proses monitoring temperatur suhu dan kelembaban di dalam kamar hotel. Maka dari itu diperlukan proses secara otomatisasi pada penggunaan alat elektronik di dalam kamar hotel agar dapat mempermudah konsumen dan petugas kamar hotel dalam memantau dan menggunakan fasilitas di dalam kamar hotel. Dengan memanfaatkan Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pengendali dan Ethernet Module ENC28J60 sebagai modul internet serta sensor DHT11 (Display Humidity and Temperature) yang berfungsi mengukur suhu dan kelembaban didalam ruangan kamar hotel, sensor PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver) untuk mendeteksi keberadaan tamu didalam ruangan kamar hotel, modul relay untuk mengendalikan saklar on/off perangkat elektronik di dalam kamar hotel. Dari hasil pengujian yang dilakukan sistem ini berkerja dengan baik, selain itu sistem ini dapat dikendalikan melalui website secara real time dengan waktu pengiriman data tercepat 3 detik dan dapat menampilkan panel suhu dan kelembaban dengan keakuratan pengukuran sensor di dalam kamar hotel sebesar 99% serta dapat menampilkan panel notifikasi status keberadaan orang di dalam kamar dan tampilan empat tombol saklar on/off dengan sistem otomatis dan manual sehingga dapat mengurangi konsumsi energi listrik yang tidak digunakan pada saat tidak ada orang di dalam kamar hotel.

Abstract

MSMEs are businesses owned by the community, both individuals and entities, that meet the criteria for being a business. Indonesia's success in increasing the scale of the national economy cannot be separated from the role of MSME behavior. MSMEs in Nganjuk Regency have their own attraction which is supported by natural potential, namely the large number of shallot commodities. As time goes by, many people in Nganjuk Regency make a living from processing shallots, so there are many similar products from MSMEs. “Bawang Kita” MSMEs face several obstacles, namely seasonal market demand which is always changing and threats from similar MSMEs which create a competitive market situation both in the national and international markets. Along with fluctuating sales and increasingly fierce competition, “Bawang Kita” MSMEs need to pay attention to marketing mix strategies that are in line with the desires of domestic and foreign consumers. This can also help companies achieve superiority over the competition. This research discusses the effectiveness of implementing international marketing mix strategies in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs which is supported by SWOT analysis. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with MSME Owner, Resellers, and Consumers. Results of this research that the implementation of the international marketing mix strategy in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs is effective in terms of every aspect of the marketing mix which is supported by data on sales, production and distribution as well as the ability to purchase new machines. However, in the SWOT analysis carried out by researchers, there are still weaknesses in the implementation of the marketing mix carried out by MSME “Bawang Kita”. Thus, the implementation of the marketing mix strategy in “Bawang Kita” MSMEs must be further improved

Abstract

Three key elements are needed to utilize renewable energy within a community: technological readiness, human resource readiness, and data on local energy potential. Human resource readiness can be measured based on the community's knowledge of renewable energy. Similarly, farmer groups, as part of the human resource that requires energy for their activities, both at home and in the workplace, need to prepare themselves with knowledge about renewable energy utilization to meet future needs. ‘Remaja Tani Serba Guna Buani’, one of the farmers group in Buani Hamlet, also needs assistance in preparing itself for renewable energy utilization. This is due to the lower-middle educational background of its members and the lack of sosialization to them. Therefore, sosialization on renewable energy is necessary to help them understand the various types of renewable energy and the potential for renewable energy in their area to support sustainable energy conservation. This activity was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The evaluation revealed that 73.69% of participants answered the questions with a score of "fair to excellent," while 26.31% of participants answered the questions with a score of "very poor to poor." This indicates that the sosialization activities provided understanding to the majority of the farmer group members.

Abstract

When driving a car you definitely need something called cabin air conditioning, aka the car's AC (Air Conditioner). Especially in a tropical country like Indonesia, just imagine riding in a car during the day without using AC, it definitely feels like going into an oven. For this reason, the condition of the car's AC (Air Conditioner) must always be maintained. In general, the definition of AC (Air Conditioner) is a series of machines that have the function of cooling the air around the cooling machine. Specifically, the definition of AC (Air Conditioner) is a machine that is used to cool the air by circulating refrigerant gas in a pipe that is pressed and sucked in by a compressor. The function of the car AC compressor is to circulate a cooling medium called Refrigerant or Freon to circulate in the car AC system. Apart from that, the compressor also provides pressure according to needs. The car AC compressor sucks refrigerant gas from the low-pressure and low-temperature evaporator then compresses the gas into a high-pressure, high-temperature liquid.

Abstract

To produce quality products, one way is to carry out the machining process well. Factors that influence surface roughness in the turning process are the treatment of the chisel blade, depth of cut, cutting speed, feed motion, machine vibration during cutting. This research was carried out to determine the surface roughness value using the BOHLER brand HSS Mo RAPID EXTRA 1200 chisel type on the SC 1045 steel test material. This test was carried out 5 times in each test using different cutting speeds (Vc), while the feed motion and the cutting depth is the same. To obtain surface roughness results, measurements were carried out using the Surface Test-402 measuring instrument. In 1 test, 3 measurements were carried out on different sides. The lowest surface roughness value was at cutting speed (Vc)= 45 m/min with Ra= 4.5µm with cutting time (tc)= 3.38 minutes. And the highest roughness was at cutting speed (Vc)= 235 m/min with Ra= 7.6 µm with cutting time (tc)= 1.05 minutes.
