Abstract

The design of the three-tier client server architecture is a further development than before that uses two tiers. The planning is the initial stage before the implementation of the system that is already running today. With this model it is expected that the application no longer need to be installed on every client but enough on the server only.  Beside that, this model of server side application can be accessed by every client in various operating system infrastructure and hardware. The Library transaction service workload can be dispersed and no longer overlap at one work terminal only, but it can already be spread over other terminals, which is the benefit of this technology.  The integrated information system between the academic information system and library information system makes the data more accurate and well distributed. The credibility and flexibility of data is maintained due to the synchronization between servers for data usage on the main server. This kind of model system development pattern makes integration between parts of an organization better. Three tiers have a database layer on server 1, the application layer on server 2, and Layer 3 is on the user side.

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknologi cloud computingakan mudah diterapkan jika adanya kerangka kerja implementasi. Sudah banyak kalangan industri, bisnis maupun institusi pemerintahan yang mengadopsi teknologi cloud, namun institusi perguruan tinggi belum optimal dalam memanfaatkannya. Selain berkembangnya sistem internal organisasi yang serba terintegrasi, tuntutan penggunaan layanan berbagi berkas dan sumber daya juga sangat penting. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan tata cara pemanfaatan skala mikro teknologi cloud computing pada institusi perguruan tinggi khusus layanan Software As A Service (SAAS). Penelitian ini memanfaatkan kerangka kerja adopsi Roadmap for Cloud Computing Adoption (ROCCA) dan Decision Framework for Cloud Migration. Model adopsi ini dirasa perlu untuk diteliti karena sebelumnya ROCCA dan Decision Framework for Cloud Migration baru diteliti pada sektor industri dan pemerintahan, sedangkan perguruan tinggi memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan kedua sektor tersebut. Subyek penelitian adalah Unit Pelayanan Terpadu Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (UPT-TIK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dengan fokus pada layanan aplikasi dan software. Data diambil dengan melakukan observasi dan pengujian secara semi terstruktur yang tidak mengikat. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model penerapan cloud computing skala mikro kategori SAAS pada institusi perguruan tinggi dengan menggunakan adopsi ROCCA dan Decision Framework for Cloud Migration. Terdiri dari 5 (lima) tahapan, yaitu; tahap Analisis, Perancangan, Adopsi, Migrasi, dan Pengelolaan. Analisis dan implementasi yang dilakukan menghasilkan jenis penerapan skala mikro.Kata Kunci: Komputasi Awan, SAAS, ROCCA, Cloud Computing.

Abstract

School activities during the Covid-19 pandemic forced teachers and students to carry out school activities in the form of learning at home. SD Negeri 05 Bengkulu Tengah uses the home learning method by requiring parents to come to school to collect and submit their children's learning documents. To anticipate this important school administration activity, digital administration training was held for schools so that these activities continued well even during the pandemic. The results of this administrative training are the creation of a school website, school profile videos, knowledge of K13 education report management through the Microsoft Excel application and the use of several online learning applications available on the internet network.

Abstract

The problem faced by schools in managing grant funds or school Operational Assistance is that there is often a confusion of information related to fund management, from planning, budgeting and reporting processes, the school is often confused when facing challenges due to misinformation, there is no source of validated questions and answers and integrated schools can be trusted to answer school confusion regarding the management of BOS funds, the existing question and answer channels (Whatshap, telegram) are still not integrated, have not been verified and tracked, the process of finding answers that are not well communicated adds to the administrative burden of educators, Not yet available application to help teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. Service activities in the form of socialization, practice, question and answer and Focus Group Discussion related to the use of digital platforms aimed at reducing complexity, increasing efficiency, adding inspiration, and customized approaches related to the School Resource Platform, the Merdeka Teaching Platform and the Teacher: Learning Platform. This community service process can be expected so that participants as the Assistance Team from Higher Education are able to: 1) Explore the Merdeka Mengajar Platform and its various products from their Android-based devices / devices (including web-based information systems via computers, desktops or laptops) 2) Explain the functions and the benefits of the Teaching Device Product on the Merdeka Mengajar Platform 3) Explaining the functions and benefits of the Student Assessment Product on the Merdeka Mengajar Platform 4) To teachers as the main users of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (and its various products) as well as other key users such as school principals and stakeholders other related activities and need ongoing activities because most participants still need other training to help the learning process lead to a digital system, online-based and independent learning.

Abstract

Abstract—The business world will always develop along with the times, with various kinds of technology that are so sophisticated and diverse that the competition in the business world is getting tougher. The business world engaged in stone sales has a lot of bookkeeping because the bookkeeping is carried out every day, such as administrative bookkeeping carried out by the cashier when recording sales transactions with buyers and also inventory data bookkeeping carried out by the factory section which records inventory. In the research conducted for the development of a web-based sales transaction application using the Code Igniter framework. Code Igniter is one of the widely used frameworks, where the main goal is to minimize code during website creation. So that CV Quari Sengkuang can apply the concept of inventory control which is defined as the number or quantity of goods ordered with minimal costs or often referred to as the optimal purchase amount. Abstract

Aplikasi presensi perkuliahan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu perlu sekali dikembangkan sehingga lebih mudah dalam proses pelaksanaannya. Salah satu cara untuk mempermudah prosesnya menggunakan presensi Quic Response (QR) Code yang dapat dilakukan dalam kondisi perkuliahan daring ataupun luring. Metode QR Code yang digunakan adalah berupa penyimpanan Uniform Resource Locator (URL) terenkripsi dan ter-hashing yang dikombinasikan dengan filterisasi internet protocol address sehingga informasi yang tersimpan menjadi lebih aman dibandingkan bila dalam bentuk teks biasa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunaka teknik observasi dan wawancara terhadap pengguna aplikasi terdahulu baru kemudian dilakukan analisa, perancangan dan pemrograman secara eksperimen pada modul-modul program yang berperan dalam proses presensi tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian ini QR Code terproteksi dan berhasil dilaksanakan serta dapat berintegrasi dengan beberapa learning management system (LMS), aplikasi media sosial yang sering digunakan oleh para dosen khususnya di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu adalah perguruan tinggi swasta yang berada di Kota Bengkulu, Indonesia, yang berdiri pada tanggal 20 Juni 1991. Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai pengelolaan inventaris barang yang ada di laboratorium komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Dalam pengelolaannya selama ini, terdapat beberapa masalah yang terjadi didalam proses pendataan barang dan laporan barang yang masih dilakukan dengan cara manual yakni dengan mencatat di buku kemudian dimasukan ke dalam microsoft excel. Cara tersebut dapat menyebabkan resiko kehilangan data, karena data hanya disimpan dalam buku serta file excel. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah aplikasi inventrais yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan data sehingga memudahkan kepala laboratorium dalam mengelola barang inventaris di laboratorium komputer. Sistem informasi dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan keamanan AES. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Berhasil membuat aplikasi inventaris yang dapat mengimplementasikan keamanan AES, serta memiliki tampilan yang menarik.

Abstract

Scholarships are a form of assistance given to students or students in the form of funds or money that will be used to help the cost of the educational process and ease the burden on students in taking the study period, especially the cost issue, given a selective scholarship program.  This study aims to implement the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method in determining scholarship acceptance at SMA Negeri 2 South Bengkulu. This study uses a quantitative approach by using secondary data in the form of a decision matrix containing criteria for determining scholarship acceptance and data on students who have applied for scholarships in the previous year. The PSI method is used to determine the relative weight of each criterion and calculate the final score for each student. The results of this study show that the PSI method can produce objective and fair decisions in determining scholarship acceptance. In the application of the PSI method, the criterion with the highest weight is academic achievement and the criterion with the lowest weight is activeness in student organizations. The results of this study can be used as recommendations for the school in determining scholarship acceptance in the following years. It is hoped that the results of this study can help schools in selecting students who meet the criteria and deserve scholarship assistance to help with their education costs.

Abstract

Keamanan data merupakan kebutuhan krusial dalam komunikasi digital, terutama pada perangkat mobile yang rentan terhadap kebocoran dan pelanggaran privasi. Penelitian ini mengatasi gap dengan menguji integrasi komprehensif tiga metode pengamanan data dalam satu aplikasi Android: kriptografi AES-128 (untuk kerahasiaan), encoding Base64 (untuk kompatibilitas transmisi), dan hashing Bcrypt (untuk integritas). Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan rekayasa perangkat lunak berbasis Waterfall dan melibatkan pengujian performa algoritma secara simulatif pada pesan teks. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada analisis kinerja terpadu ketiga algoritma pada platform mobile berdaya terbatas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ini bekerja secara 100% akurat dalam skenario enkripsi-dekripsi. Secara spesifik, AES-128 berhasil mempertahankan kecepatan pemrosesan rata-rata di bawah 50 milidetik per transaksi, dan Bcrypt terbukti menghasilkan hash yang unik dan tahan rainbow table. Disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini mampu melindungi pesan dari akses tidak sah serta menjadi solusi praktis dan efisien dalam meningkatkan privasi komunikasi digital. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata berupa model implementasi end-to-end security yang terukur pada platform Android.
