Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the concept and spatial pattern of regional expansion in Lahat District. The method in this research is deductive method and rationalistic approach. It adopts several techniques/guidelines from the existing regulations in order to consider comprehensively the spatial pattern in Lahat District. The research uses three major criteria, which are: physic/environment, economic and social in order to formulate spatial pattern of regional expansion. The analysis of of spatial pattern based on the physical/environmental criteria produces two regions of expansion, i.e. region I (9 sub-districts), and region II (10 sub-districts); the analysis on spatial analysis based on the economic criteria produces 2 regions, i.e. region I (8 sub-districts) and region II (11 sub-districts); the analysis on spatial pattern based on the social criteria produces 3 regions, i.e., region I (6 sub-districts), region II (6 sub-districts), and region III (7 sub-districts); the analysis on the combination of three criteria (physical/environmental, economic, and social criteria) in the overlay produces  2 regions, i.e., region I (8 sub-districts) and region II (11 districts); the analysis on comparison based on the analysis of spatial pattern which regards the physical/environment, economic and social criteria indicates that the policy has more weaknesses than the research result.Keywords: regional expansion, spatial pattern, policy analysis, Lahat Distric.

Abstract

Secara garis besar, peran dan tanggungjawab manusia dapat dibagi kepada tiga peran utama. Pertama, Manusia sebagai hamba Allah SWT. Barometer peran ini adalah Tauhid. Kedua, Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial. Barometer peran ini adalah sikap egalitarianisme, tolong menolong, dan toleransi. Ketiga, peran sebagai khalifah fil-ardl yang merupakan pengejawantahan dari peran profetik manusia. Untuk menjalankan kedua peran di atas bukanlah hal yang mudah. Untuk itu Allah membekali manusia dengan potensi. Dengan bekal potensi itu manusia bersedia menerima amanat tersebut, sehingga memungkin-kannya mampu mengemban amanat itu. Lebih jaun lagi, potensi yang dimaksud bukan saja potensi untuk dapat menunaikan amanat tersebut, tetapi potensi yang dapat menunaikan amanat dengan baik dan bertanggungjawab. Potensi itu diwujudkan melalui pemahaman serta penguasaan terhadap hukum-hukum kebenaran yang terkandung dalam ciptaan-Nya, kemudian menyusun konsep-konsep serta melakukan rekayasa untuk membentuk wujud baru dalam alam kebudayaan untuk kemaslahatan umat manusia.

Abstract

MAN 02 Kepahiang is one of the schools in Kepahiang Regency which still uses a manual attendance process. In the process of teaching and learning activities students need a daily attendance process to process student attendance data which will be made as an attendance report which is one component of the assessment of the teaching and learning process. In implementing the manual attendance system carried out by students there are still deficiencies in terms of time efficiency in the process of recording attendance and preparing attendance reports for each class. In designing an attendance system using a QR Code in the form of a web base and using the PHP programming language with MySQL database processing also using the Waterfall method. This study aims to build an attendance system using the QR Code as a media for inputting student absentee data and in preparing student daily attendance reports it is made easier by having an attendance system built.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison between the curriculum of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Elementary Schools (SD) in shaping students' religious character. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to explore in depth the differences and similarities of the two curricula, particularly in the aspects of religious values integrated into the learning process. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and curriculum document analysis from several MIs and SDs in Banjarmasin.The findings reveal that the MI curriculum focuses more on strengthening Islamic education through specialized subjects such as Al-Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Akhlak, as well as integrating religious values into general subjects. Meanwhile, the SD curriculum positions Islamic education as part of the subject "Religious Education and Character Building," which has a more limited portion compared to MI. However, SD excels in implementing thematic approaches that connect moral values with everyday life contexts.This study concludes that the MI curriculum is more effective in deeply cultivating religious character, while the SD curriculum tends to reinforce moral values within a more universal framework. These findings are expected to serve as an evaluation resource for education policymakers to enhance the integration of religious values holistically in both types of educational institutions.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat di era digital saat ini telah memberikan tantangan baru di dunia pendidikan. Keterampilan dalam penggunaan komputer adalah salah satu kompetensi dasar yang sangat penting bagi siswa sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan komputer dasar bagi siswa kelas 5 di SD 51 Kota Bengkulu serta memberikan pendampingan yang diperlukan kepada para guru untuk mengoperasikan komputer secara efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kasus yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk mendalami pengalaman dan perubahan keterampilan yang dialami siswa dan guru. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan komputer, seperti menjalankan berbagai aplikasi dasar dan menjelajahi internet untuk keperluan pembelajaran. Di sisi lain, guru juga melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam proses mengajar mereka. Program sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan efektif serta meningkatkan literasi digital di kalangan siswa dan guru. Dengan meningkatnya keterampilan komputer di kalangan siswa dan guru, diharapkan sekolah dapat menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, yang sangat penting untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. The rapid advancement of information and communication technology in today's digital era presents new challenges in the educational landscape. Skills in computer usage have become essential competencies for students from an early age. This research aims to carry out socialization and training in basic computer usage for fifth-grade students at SD 51 Kota Bengkulu, while also providing necessary support to teachers in effectively operating computers. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed, allowing for an in-depth understanding of the experiences and skill transformations experienced by both students and teachers. The results of this training program indicate a significant enhancement in students' understanding and skills in using computers, such as operating various basic applications and exploring the internet for learning purposes. On the other hand, teachers reported increased confidence in utilizing technology within their teaching processes. This socialization and training program is expected to create a more interactive and effective learning environment, as well as improve digital literacy among both students and teachers. With the enhancement of computer skills among students and teachers, it is hoped that schools can foster a more adaptive and responsive educational ecosystem to technological advancements, which is crucial for addressing future challenges.

Abstract

Natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis pose a serious threat, especially in vulnerable areas such as Bengkulu City. In an emergency, information on the location of evacuation assembly points is essential to reduce the risk of injury and loss of life. However, this information is often not well socialized and difficult to reach by the community. Therefore, this research aims to develop a Google Maps API-based Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be accessed interactively and still function in offline conditions through the application of Service Worker. Testing using Google Lighthouse shows that the application has an accessibility score of 89%, indicating ease of access on various devices. The results of this study prove that the application of PWA with Google Maps is more effective than conventional methods such as evacuation route signage, because it increases accessibility, flexibility, and community preparedness in facing disasters. Bencana alam seperti gempa bumi dan tsunami merupakan ancaman serius, terutama di daerah rawan seperti Kota Bengkulu. Dalam kondisi darurat, informasi mengenai lokasi titik kumpul evakuasi sangat penting untuk mengurangi risiko cedera dan kehilangan nyawa. Namun, informasi ini sering kali tidak tersosialisasi dengan baik dan sulit dijangkau oleh masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Progressive Web App (PWA) berbasis Google Maps API yang dapat diakses secara interaktif dan tetap berfungsi dalam kondisi offline melalui penerapan Service Worker. Pengujian menggunakan Google Lighthouse menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi memiliki skor aksesibilitas sebesar 89%, menunjukkan kemudahan akses di berbagai perangkat. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan PWA dengan Google Maps lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional seperti plang jalur evakuasi, karena meningkatkan aksesibilitas, fleksibilitas, serta kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi bencana.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to introduce the concept of acid-base reactions to the students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ihya Ulumiddin in Banjarmasin through a simple experiment involving vinegar and baking soda. The selection of this material is based on the importance of early understanding of basic chemistry concepts to build critical and analytical thinking skills in children. In this activity, students are introduced to the phenomenon of acid-base reactions directly through a safe and simple experiment that can be conducted in the madrasah environment. The students are encouraged to observe the changes that occur when vinegar (acetic acid) is mixed with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), which produces carbon dioxide gas. With this experimental-based learning approach, it is hoped that students will better understand and apply the concept of acid-base in daily life and foster their interest in natural sciences. This activity is expected not only to enrich students' scientific knowledge but also to provide an enjoyable and engaging learning experience beyond the theories taught in class.

Abstract

Islamic identity is a crucial component in the education provided by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, serving as a foundation for the formation of character and religious values among students. However, understanding of how students' Islamic identity is formed within the context of learning at madrasah is still limited. This study aims to develop a theory on the process of Islamic identity formation among students using a grounded theory approach. This research employs grounded theory methodology to explore and understand the dynamics of Islamic identity formation among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and parents, as well as classroom observations and curriculum document analysis. The data analysis process was conducted iteratively to identify main categories and emerging themes, and to build a comprehensive theory on the identity formation process. The study found that the process of Islamic identity formation among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students is influenced by a complex interaction between internal and external factors. Internal factors include personal religious understanding and learning experiences, while external factors encompass the influence of the school environment, curriculum, and family support. The findings indicate that students' Islamic identity is shaped through integrated learning experiences, social interactions, and deep personal reflection. This research develops a theory that describes how Islamic identity among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students is formed within the learning context. The findings provide important insights for curriculum development and teaching strategies aimed at supporting the formation of students' Islamic identity. The implications of this study also highlight the need for stronger support from families and the school environment to facilitate a positive identity formation process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of guidance and counseling services in addressing social problems experienced by children at the Panti Asuhan Putera Bonang Banjarmasin (Putera Bonang Orphanage in Banjarmasin City) through the approach of Islamic religious education. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that guidance and counseling services play a significant role in helping children overcome issues such as lack of discipline, low self-confidence, and difficulties in social interaction. By integrating Islamic values into the counseling process, children develop better behavior, emotional control, and social awareness. The approach also strengthens their spiritual foundation, which contributes positively to their overall character development. The study concludes that an Islamic education-based counseling approach is effective in shaping the moral and social behavior of children in orphanage environments.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyze effective Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teaching strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ihya Ulumiddin Banjarmasin, focusing on the perspectives of teachers. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with seven IRE teachers and direct classroom observations to obtain a comprehensive view. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal that effective teaching strategies include the application of active learning methods such as discussions and Q&A sessions, the use of varied teaching media, and contextual approaches that connect material with students' daily lives. Teachers also emphasize the importance of adapting methods according to the characteristics and individual needs of students. Additionally, continuous training and managerial support are deemed crucial for enhancing teaching effectiveness. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of better and more adaptive IRE teaching strategies in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah environment.
