Abstract

Abstract Santa Maria Private High School, Tarutung Subdistrict, is a favorite SMA in North Tapanuli Regency where the location is located in an area that is easily accessible from other areas in North Tapanuli Regency. The large number of students and inadequate parental control because many are boarding can also result in susceptibility to premarital sexual behavior. The risk factors for adolescent sexual activity are lack of parental supervision and low environmental supervision so that boarding students are at risk of various forms of sexual activity.Prevent early pregnancy by providing information to adolescents to empower them to build values and skills that enable them to make responsible decisions to become sexually healthy adults. Counseling for adolescents about sex education is the most likely, especially to students in schools. Factors that influence adolescent sexual behavior include academic perspectives where adolescents with low achievement and low aspiration stages tend to be more likely to have sexual activity than adolescents with good performance in school so that by providing health education for all students both with low achievement and good achievement. understand the impact of premarital sex. Keywords: early pregnancy, empowerment, teenager

Abstract

Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta hasil evaluasi sebesar 92%.Stunting, a chronic nutritional problem, remains a serious challenge in Indonesia. This condition is characterized by impaired growth in children due to malnutrition, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. The effects of stunting impact a child’s height as well as their future cognitive development, health, and productivity. One of the main causes is the low level of knowledge among families, particularly mothers, regarding balanced nutrition, appropriate parenting practices, and the importance of sanitation and environmental health. Additionally, limited access to information and a lack of community-level support further exacerbate the issue. The objective of this community service initiative is to educate the Village/Subdistrict PKK Task Force on their role in preventing stunting using PowerPoint presentations and leaflets; there were 26 participants. The methods used were lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and participatory discussions to help participants better understand the material. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests. The pre-test was used to determine participants’ initial knowledge level, and the post-test to measure the increase in their knowledge after participating in the activity. The evaluation results showed a 92% increase in participants’ knowledge.

Abstract

There has been a decline in stunting prevalence nationally in the last two years, requiring a more specific analysis of local determinants to optimize interventions at the regional level, especially in areas with geographical characteristics such as North Tapanuli Regency. This study aims to analyze the effect of nutritional intake, environmental sanitation, immunization status, and medical history on the incidence of stunting in toddlers. This quantitative study with a cross-sectional design involved 71 stunted toddler respondents in four working areas of the Community Health Center in North Tapanuli Regency. The data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test for bivariate analysis and Path Analysis to see the direct and indirect effects. The path analysis results showed that nutritional intake (0.365), sanitation (0.146), and immunization status (0.141) had a significant direct effect on stunting. Nutritional intake was the most dominant determining factor (p=0.010). Conversely, medical history (p=0.485) did not show a significant relationship and did not play a strong mediating role in this model. Nutritional intake is a key factor in determining the severity of stunting. Intervention strategies should focus on meeting the specific nutritional needs of toddlers in addition to improving sanitation and basic immunization coverageKeywords: Stunting, Nutritional Intake, Infectious Diseases, Sanitation, Immunization

Abstract

Indonesia is still facing nutrition problems that affect the quality of human resources. The problem of malnutrition is still quite high in Indonesia, especially the problem of stunting. Stunting can occur as a result of malnutrition, especially during 1000 HPK. The Lancet Breastfeeding 2016 states that breastfeeding can reduce infant mortality due to infection by 88%, besides that breastfeeding also contributes to reducing the risk of stunting in the future. Hypnobreastfeeding helps mothers ensure that they can continue to breastfeed, at least exclusively for the first six months. To prevent stunting, optimizing breastfeeding with Hypnobreastfeeding can reduce stunting rates in the North Tapanuli Regency so that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target in 2025 can be achieved by a 40% reduction. The study aims to determine the difference in prolactin hormone levels before and after the application of hypnobreastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers. The research was a quasi-experiment using pre and Post-tests with a control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling on postpartum mothers with a total sample of 30 people. This research was conducted in July-November. Statistical tests using the Wilcoxon test.  To determine the difference in prolactin levels before and after hypnobreasfeeding, the p-value = 0.02, so that the p-value <0.05 can be concluded that there is a difference in prolactin hormone levels before and after the application of hypnobreastfeeding in nursing mothers. Based on the results of the study, hypnobreastfeeding can be an intervention for breastfeeding mothers to succeed in exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

In Indonesia, anemia during pregnancy remains a major public health issue due to its risks for both mother and baby. This study aims to analyze the relationship between anemia in third-trimester pregnant women and their knowledge and behavior regarding iron (Fe) tablet consumption. Conducted in the Curup Health Center area, this cross-sectional study used a descriptive analytical design with purposive sampling to select 35 pregnant women as respondents.Data were collected through hemoglobin testing using the Easy Touch GCHb device and questionnaires assessing knowledge and behavior. The results showed that 71.4% of respondents did not experience anemia, 60% demonstrated positive behavior in consuming Fe tablets, and 51.4% had sufficient knowledge about anemia and iron supplementation. The chi-square test indicated no significant relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia (p = 0.240). However, a significant relationship was found between behavior in consuming Fe tablets and the occurrence of anemia (p = 0.002).These findings suggest that while knowledge alone may not prevent anemia, consistent and proper behavior in taking Fe tablets has a stronger influence. Therefore, enhancing behavioral-based education and monitoring could help improve adherence to Fe tablet intake and reduce anemia prevalence among pregnant women.
