Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode experiental learning dalam menulis teks cerpen pada siswa kelas X MA At-Thahiriyah. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pra-eksperimen (pre-experimental design). Desain penelitian menggunakan model Control Group Design (pre-test dan post-test). Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh siswa kelas X MA At-Thahiriyah. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa dengan teknik total sampling yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode experiental learning. Instrumen penelitian meliputi observasi, tes, RPP, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode experiental learning efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas X MA At-Thahiriyah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan persentase perbandingan nilai tes pada kelompok kontrol yang tidak menerapkan metode experiental learning dengan kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan metode experiental learning. Pada kelas kontrol, persentase siswa yang meraih nilai ≥75 hanya sekitar 43,3%, atau sekitar 3 siswa dari total 13 siswa. Sementara pada kelas eksperimen, persentase siswa yang memeroleh nilai ≥75 adalah 86,7% atau sekitar 12 siswa dari total 13 siswa yang diberi perlakuan.

Abstract

This study aims to find the character education values in Nadzira Shafa's novel "172 Hari" and understand how these values can impact readers using Paul Ricouer's hermeneutic approach and descriptive design, the novel "172 Hari" was chosen as the subject of qualitative research. Reading and note-taking methods were used to collect information from the text. According to the results, there are fourteen character education values, which include religious, honest, responsible, tolerance, hard work, independent, disciplined, curiosity, brotherhood/communicative, democratic, creative, social care, love of peace, and respect for achievement. Religious values dominate and have a positive impact on readers, such as strengthening spiritual awareness, being an example in facing life's trials, developing noble character, teaching sincerity in accepting destiny, and creating togetherness and brotherhood. It is hoped that this research can deepen the understanding of character values in the novel and contribute to the character formation of readers.

Abstract

Regional language interference remains a common issue in the use of Indonesian in higher education, particularly among students who are native speakers of the Manggarai language. This phenomenon appears through the influence of regional linguistic structures and vocabulary on the accuracy of Indonesian sentences. This study aims to identify the forms of Manggarai language interference in the Indonesian used by students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Pancasakti Makassar, and to describe its manifestations in interrogative, exclamatory, and conditional sentences. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data consisting of utterances obtained from interviews and recorded conversations with students. Data were collected through interviews and participant observation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings show that interference is most frequently found in interrogative sentences, amounting to 14 out of 23 data (60.87%). Interference in exclamatory sentences appears in 5 data (21.74%), while conditional sentence interference is the least, with 4 data (17.39%). These results indicate that interrogative sentence structures are the most vulnerable to the influence of the Manggarai language. Therefore, greater reinforcement is needed to encourage the consistent use of standard Indonesian, particularly in constructing interrogative sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the linguistic style contained in the Idgitaf song collection. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive qualitative research design using Geoffrey Leech's stylistic approach, namely cohesion, foregrounding, and cohesion of foregrounding. The object of this study is the songs in the Idgitaf song collection. The main data for this study were sourced from the lyrics of Idgitaf songs, consisting of five songs, namely Terpikat Senyummu, Sekuat Sesakit, Semoga Sembuh, Benar-benar, and Berlagak Bahagia, using observation techniques, namely listening, reading, and note taking. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model with stages including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the language styles found in the Idgitaf song collection include 56 language style data found based on the types of language styles from each song lyric with 5 different titles. The data consisted of 2 simile figures of speech (from the lyrics sekuat sesakit), 3 metaphor figures of speech (1 terpikat senyummu, 1 berlagak bahagia, 1 sekuat sesakit), 7 personification figures of speech (1 terpikat senyummu, 3 berlagak bahagia, 1 benar-benar, 1 semoga sembuh, 1 sekuat sesakit), 3 paradoxes (2 berlagak bahagia, 1 semoga sembuh), 2 hyperboles (1 berlagak bahagia, 1 benar-benar), 18 parallelisms (4 terpikat senyummu, 3 berlagak bahagia, 5 benar-benar, 3 semoga sembuh, and 3 sekuat sesakit), 2 ellipsis styles (1 terpikat senyummu, 1 benar-benar), 14 repetition styles (1 terpikat senyummu, 3 berlagak bahagia, 3 benar-benar, 3 semoga sembuh, and 4 sekuat sesakit), 5 rhetorical style (2 terpikat senyummu, 1 benar-benar, 1 semoga sembuh, and 1 sekuat sesakit).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze President Prabowo Subianto's speech at the 79th National Cooperative Day commemoration in 2026 using Teun A. van Dijk's model. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied to examine three dimensions of discourse: text, cognition, and social context. The results show that on the textual dimension, the speech constructs cooperatives as the pillar of a populist economy through the macro theme of critiquing neoliberalism and legitimizing the Koperasi Merah Putih program, employing microstructural strategies such as ideological lexicon, collective pronouns, metaphors, and repetition. On the social cognition dimension, the discourse is produced from the speaker's personal experience in the cooperative movement and anti-neoliberal beliefs. The social context dimension of the speech represents structural inequality and legitimizes state intervention through integrated village cooperative societies. This speech functions as a political discourse practice that produces the ideology of economic nationalism for the people while simultaneously building the legitimacy of power
