Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the head of the madrasah in improving teacher discipline and performance in MAN 2 Cilegon City. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using qualitative data analysis consisting of: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) conclusions. The results of this study show that the leadership of the head of the madrasah in MAN 2 Cilegon City with a democratic leadership style that is open, communicative, and prioritizes common interests. Efforts made in improving discipline in MAN 2 Cilegon City are by cultivating commitment, reward and punishment, as well as using points for attendance. Meanwhile, the efforts of MAN 1 Cilegon City in improving teacher performance are by providing coaching, attending training and seminars, supervising. In general, the effectiveness of leadership in MAN 2 Cilegon City in improving teacher discipline and performance cannot be seen because it is still running, and the planned work programs are also still continuing from the previous leadership even though there are new programs implemented but all are still running. So the leadership of the head of the madrasah will affect in improving teacher discipline and performance, because the head of the madrasah is the spearhead in improving teacher discipline and performance.

Abstract

The teacher is the spearhead of educational progress, if the teacher has good competence, it is certain that the output produced will also be good. But in reality this is not always the case, the problem of student delinquency which is still a scourge in the world of education suggests that the role of the teacher so far has only been limited to teaching material in class, moreover the teacher is considered weak because he has not been able to transform the essential values ​​of education as a whole. in the learning process. In order for the implementation of education to be more focused, a policy is needed which is the basic reference as well as a legal umbrella to overcome problems in the world of education. The policies that have been set are expected to be able to improve the quality of existing education. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how is the policy of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving the quality of teachers, how is the implementation of the strategic plan of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in increasing teacher competence, how is the monitoring and evaluation system of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality, what is only the obstacles that impede the improvement of teacher quality in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Madrasah Education Section of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province and the Madrasa Supervisors. The place of research was conducted at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. The method of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: the policy of the Banten Province Ministry of Religion in improving teacher competence is to refer to Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers whose main focus is related to the teacher certification program which includes four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, social competence, professional competence and personality competence. Implementation of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality in collaboration with the Madrasah Head, Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP), Teacher Performance Group (KKG) is used as a medium to socialize programs that will be and are being implemented and involve teachers in training, training and seminar. The supervision and evaluation system of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher competence is by implementing a monitoring and evaluation system that is formative, summative and progress carried out monthly, semiannually and annually. There are two main obstacles faced in implementing existing policies, first, the problem of inadequate budget funds. Second, related to the lack of motivation and internal awareness of teachers to continue to develop their competence.

Abstract

The positive image of educational institutions requires marketing. If an educational institution has a positive image in the eyes of the public, it will be more competent than other schools. Management with a good strategy is the main emphasis for the implementation of the entire existing education system, especially in the education sector. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of marketing strategy. the influence of educational marketing strategies on the image of Islamic education institutions at MTs Sepatan. The method used is descriptive with quantitative analysis using data analysis techniques in the form of simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the marketing strategy is explained by 97% by the image of the institution, while 3% is explained by other factors not examined in this study. The marketing strategy partially has a significant effect on the image of the MTs Sepatan institution. The direction of influence of the marketing strategy on the image of the institution is positive, which means that the higher the marketing strategy, the higher the image of the institution, and vice versa. If the marketing strategy is lower then the image of the institution will decrease.

Abstract

Supervision is carried out in the context of mentoring, directing, and coaching toward improving teacher performance more optimally. This study aims to determine how managerial and principal academic supervision affect teacher performance in private junior high schools in the Tigaraksa District of the Tangerang Regency. This study uses correlational and regression analysis, which are both types of quantitative research methods. The population comprises 41 teachers, three principals, and one supervisor, for a total of 45 respondents. This study takes a sample of the whole population, which is the whole population. With a 97% contribution, the results showed that managerial supervision greatly improved teacher performance. The study's development shows that the principal's academic control has a significant effect on improving teacher performance, with a contribution of 88%, and that the supervisor's managerial supervision and the principal's visionary leadership have a substantial impact on improving teacher performance, with a contribution of 91%.

Abstract

The curriculum is a central element in the education system that plays an important role in determining the direction and goals of education. A quality and relevant curriculum is the key to producing young people who are competent and able to answer future challenges. In an ever-evolving global context, the dynamics of change and demands on education systems are increasingly complex. This encourages the need for continuous curriculum adjustment and development. Effective curriculum development cannot be done in isolation from education policy. The right education policy is the foundation for the formulation of a quality and future-oriented curriculum. This study aims to provide input and enrich understanding of the systematics of policy problem formulation, policy alternatives and policy recommendations in influencing the development of the educational curriculum and assisting education stakeholders in the process of developing an educational curriculum. This research is qualitative research using literature study methods or literature research. The formulation of policy problems, policy alternatives, and policy recommendations are three important elements that are interrelated and have a significant influence on policy making. Public policies are detailed so as to be able to find which things are important in making decisions. Education policy is a part of public policy that is closely related and influences each other.

Abstract

This study explores the role of education management in Al-Wasilah Sigenjah Waringinkurung Islamic Boarding School in fostering student discipline. The management of Islamic boarding school education plays an important role in shaping the attitude and behavior of student discipline by implementing policies, learning programs, and structured daily activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves direct observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic boarding school caregivers, teaching staff, and students, as well as analysis of related documents. The study results show that student discipline can be formed through effective management, where factors such as pesantren leaders, continuous supervision, and the provision of appropriate sanctions and rewards contribute significantly to the successful implementation of discipline. This study provides important insights for the development of a more optimal education management system in Islamic boarding schools to support the formation of disciplined and responsible student character.

Abstract

Education as an increasingly competitive sector encourages educational institutions to build positive relationships with students, parents, education staff, and donors. This article aims to describe the Relational Marketing Model of the Service Marketing Triangle (SMT) at SMPIT Madinah Al-Hijrah and analyze its contribution to improving educational services. Within the framework of SMT, this article explores how interactions between schools, frontline employees, and education service customers can impact the educational experience and customer satisfaction. Through qualitative research with interviews and surveys with various stakeholders at SMPIT Madinah Al-Hijrah, this article highlights whether the Relational Marketing Model of SMT Education Services at SMPIT Madinah Al-Hijrah can improve education services. The results showed that this model effectively strengthens communication, service quality, and interpersonal interaction in building strong relationships between educational institutions and educational service customers The application of the concept of friend-raising beyond fundraising has also proven successful in attracting new donors through the support of existing donors. In conclusion, this model not only increases the satisfaction of students, parents, and donors but also strengthens loyalty to educational institutions.
