Abstract

Dalam pengembangan kognitif manusia, Piaget percaya bahwasannya perkembangan kognitif berlangsung melalui empat tahap, dan salah satu tahapnya adalah Tahap Operasional Kongkrit dimana anak sudah menggunakan pemikiran logika dengan cukup matang dimana anak akan mengalami kesulitan jika dihadapkan kepada sesuatu tanpa objek fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengubah image pembelajaran materi sharf yang terkesan sulit dan membosankan menjadi lebih menyenangkan berdasarkan perkembangan kognitif anak. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D Level 1 dimana peneliti merancang sebuah produk dengan tidak mengujikannya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dengan dirancangnya sebuah permainan bernama “Sharf Block” yang diadopsi dari permainan JENGA dimana permainan ini akan melibatkan sistem kognitif dan psikomotorik anak.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Sharf, Media Pembelajaran, Permainan Sharf Block.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effects of variability through data simulation to determine which aspect of variability that maximizes coefficient of Cronbach Alpha reliability. Cronbach Alpha is widely used for estimation of reliability, in recent still. This study served a conceptual and practical simulation for estimating the profound aspect of Cronbach Alpha coefficient relating to the variability of the data. This study carried out with data simulated using the rand between method by Microsoft Excel then simulate different categorical data responses to different range of items by manipulating sample size, range, number of items, variance and standard deviation. The results show that number of variance and standard deviation of data had the most profound aspect of Cronbach Alpha's reliability other than range. The increasing number on some aspect shows that standard deviation and variance has the stability to shows the positive correlation with the coefficient of Cronbach Alpha reliability other than range.

Abstract

Evaluation in the learning process plays a crucial role, especially in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPA) at the elementary school level. The function of evaluation is not limited to measuring students' learning outcomes, but also serves as a basis for teachers to reflect on and improve the quality of teaching. This study is a literature review with an evaluative approach aimed at examining various evaluation strategies used in science education and identifying the challenges faced in their implementation. Based on the review of various academic references, it was found that effective evaluation approaches include authentic assessment, learning projects, and assessments that emphasize critical thinking skills. Authentic assessment has proven capable of providing a comprehensive picture of student development, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. However, the implementation of this evaluation model often faces challenges such as limited facilities, insufficient professional training for teachers, and difficulties in objectively assessing attitudes and skills. Therefore, improving teachers' competencies through training programs and providing adequate resources becomes a strategic step that needs to be taken. The results of this study recommend the importance of strengthening support for teachers in order to realize a valid evaluation system that aligns with the characteristics and needs of elementary school students today.

Abstract

This study investigates the social and psychological disparities in interactions among elementary school students with different economic backgrounds. Findings reveal that students from higher economic status families display greater confidence, active participation, and leadership in class activities, supported by access to better educational resources. Conversely, students from lower economic status families often exhibit passivity, feelings of inferiority, and limited classroom engagement. These challenges highlight the importance of inclusive teaching practices, such as heterogeneous group activities and equitable recognition by teachers, which can create a supportive learning environment for all students. This qualitative library research emphasizes the role of education in addressing social inequalities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep dasar pecahan serta mengidentifikasi pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitaif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesulitan belajar matematika pada materi pecahan yang dialami siswa disebabkan oleh faktor internal, seperti rendahnya motivasi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep dasar pecahan, serta faktor eksternal, seperti metode pembelajaran yang kurang bervariasi, minimnya media pembelajaran yang efektif, dan keterbatasan sarana di sekolah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dibutuhkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif, di mana guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih menarik dan kondusif, serta memanfaatkan berbagai media pembelajaran untuk memperjelas konsep-konsep yang sulit. Pengembangan metode pengajaran yang merangsang kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa juga sangat penting, khususnya dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal yang menguji kemampuan tingkat tinggi, guna meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pecahan dan meminimalisir kesulitan belajar.
