Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the production of large chili farming in Sikur Subdistrict, East Lombok Regency; (2) analyzing production risk in large chili farming in Sikur District, East Lombok Regency; (3) analyzing the factors that affect production risk in large chilli farming in Sikur District, East Lombok Regency; (4) determine recommendations for handling production risks in large chili farming in Sikur District, East Lombok Regency. This research uses a descriptive method. Determination of the sample area is done by puposive sampling method. The number of respondents was determined by a quota sampling of 40 chilli farmers. The results showed that: (1) The average large chili production was 12,245 kg / ha; (2) The risk of large chili production is relatively high with a coefficient of variation (CV) of 0.51; (3) Factors that increase the risk of positive production or opportunity are manure, growth regulators, and irrigation intensity. Whereas seeds, chemical fertilizers, and the intensity of HPT attacks are factors that reduce the risk of positive production or opportunity. Factors that increase the risk of negative production are chemical fertilizers, irrigation intensity, and pest plant disease attack intensity. Whereas seeds, manure, and growth regulators are factors that reduce the risk of negative production. Recommendations for handling production risks to increase the risk of positive production (opportunity), namely by reducing the amount of use of seeds, chemical fertilizers, increasing the amount of use of manure, growth regulators, irrigation intensity, and controlling pest plant disease properly. Whereas recommendations to reduce the risk of negative production are to increase the amount of use of seeds, manure, growth regulators, reduce the amount of use of chemical fertilizers, irrigation intensity, and control pest plant disease properly.

Abstract

Existence of Fishery Product Processing and Marketers Group of “Bunga Anggrek” in Banjar Hamlet of Banjar Village in Ampenan Sub district Mataram Municipality is very strategic where marine fishery products so far in Sub district of Ampenan have been marketed is only in local areas therefore group “Bunga Anggrek” can be a pioneers to local fisherman community to increase their capacity in processing and marketing fishery products. Main objective of this activity is making some kinds of fishery products with their good marketing strategy. Methods applied to accomplish the objectives are through training that is completed with good practices of making some kinds of fishery products and training of development of marketing strategy either for fresh fish or fishery products. The results showed that participants realized that processing fish into various processed products was very easy to do and could provide additional income for their families. In addition, their knowledge and insight in managing the business and in marketing the products of their business will also increase. This is possible because some of the material delivered by the team is enough to provide participants with knowledge that can increase their capacity in conducting a profitable business.

Abstract

The Mandalika Special Economic Zone is one of the priority areas for national economic development that aims to create new sources of economic growth in the region. Maize is a type of food crop that has great potential share in the agricultural sector, especially as fulfillment food needs in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze the income from maize cultivation in the buffer zone of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone; 2) analyze the perceptions of households producing corn in the buffer zone about the socioeconomic benefits of the existence of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The respondents in this study were farmers who planted maize in Mertak Village and it was determined that there were 30 respondents who were determined by purposive sampling. The results showed that maize farmers in the buffer zone of Mandalika Special Economic Zone earn income in one growing season with an average income from maize cultivation of IDR 15,392,760/LLG or IDR 13,502,577/ha. Also, maize farmers in the buffer zone of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone benefit from the existence of the Mandalika Special Economic Zone in the form of increasing employment, improving public facilities like; the road infrastructure is of better quality, the physical condition of educational facilities and health facilities is also improving.

Abstract

Pengovenan tembakau merupakan suatu cara pengeringan tembakau menggunakan oven dengan bantuan bahan bakar dan menggunakan beberapa alat. Dalam proses usaha pengovenan tembakau ini ada beberapa macam pilihan bahan bakar yang dapat digunakan oleh petani, dengan demikian perlu diteliti bahan bakar apa saja yang bisa digunakan dan penggunaannya efektif pada pengovenan tembakau. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui manajemen usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur dan Inventarisir jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan untuk pengovenan tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur serta membandingkan bahan bakar yang paling efisien digunakan untuk pengovenan tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur Lombok Timur. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini (1) Berdasarkan manajemen usahatani tembakau yang dimulai dari planning, organizing, actuating, dan controlling rata-rata semua responden melakukan manajemen usahatami tembakau yang di mulai dari proses pembibitan sampai pemasaran. (2) Jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan pada pengovenan tembakau di Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah bahan bakar kayu, cangkang sawit, cangkang kemiri dan campuran. (3) Bahan bakar pengovenan tembakau yang paling efisien adalah campuran 1 (kayu dan cangkang sawit) dengan poin paling banyak yaitu sebesar 14 poin, yang di ukur dari segi harga bahan bakar, biaya tenaga kerja, kemudahan penggunaan dan nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 1,62.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM di Desa Jatisela dalam menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang tepat, khususnya melalui media sosial Facebook dengan memanfaatkan fitur Facebook Marketplace, sehingga dapat meningkatkan omset dan laba penjualan produk. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 10 orang ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri yang aktif sebagai produsen donat kentang di UMKM "Donat Kentang Enak Murah." Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi persiapan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan Facebook Marketplace, pendampingan dalam pembuatan akun media sosial dan praktek penggunaan Facebook Marketplace, serta evaluasi kegiatan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam menggunakan media sosial Facebook, terutama fitur Facebook Marketplace, meningkat secara signifikan. Dari hasil post-test, 90% peserta memahami manfaat dan cara penggunaan fitur ini. Penjualan donat kentang melalui Facebook Marketplace meningkat rata-rata 250-300% dalam satu kali produksi harian, dengan peningkatan omset dari Rp. 350.000 menjadi Rp. 950.000. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan Facebook Marketplace terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan penjualan produk UMKM. Rekomendasi untuk ke depan adalah mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas pelatihan serta memperluas cakupan pelatihan kepada UMKM lain. Utilization of Facebook Marketplace Features in Efforts to Increase Marketing of Potato Donut MSME Products in Jatisela Village  The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of MSME players in Jatisela Village in implementing appropriate marketing strategies, especially through Facebook social media by utilizing the Facebook Marketplace feature, so as to increase turnover and profit from product sales. This activity involved 10 housewives and young women who were active as potato donut producers in the MSME "Delicious Cheap Potato Donuts." Methods for implementing this activity include preparation and socialization, training in using Facebook Marketplace, assistance in creating social media accounts and practicing using Facebook Marketplace, as well as evaluating activities through pre-test and post-test. The results of the activity showed that participants' knowledge and skills in using Facebook social media, especially the Facebook Marketplace feature, increased significantly. From the post-test results, 90% of participants understood the benefits and how to use this feature. Sales of potato donuts via Facebook Marketplace increased by an average of 250-300% in one daily production, with an increase in turnover from Rp. 350,000 to Rp. 950,000. In conclusion, the use of Facebook Marketplace has proven to be effective in increasing sales of MSME products. Recommendations for the future are to maintain and improve the quality of training and expand the scope of training to other MSMEs. .
