Abstract

The sales cashier application for micro, small and medium businesses is the answer to the problems that exist in one of the micro, small and medium businesses making bags in the Leles area, Garut Regency. The results of observations and interviews with micro, small and medium business owners, the problems that exist are that the transaction process is still manual using written notes, so it is very risky for notes to be lost or damaged, the profit calculation process is sometimes out of balance due to human error during the recapitulation process and there is no debt record so that when the reseller debt payment process is sometimes out of sync. The purpose of making this application is to help process sales activities in micro, small and medium enterprises, help manage accounts payable, and assist in the process of recapitulating income statements. Rational Unified Process (RUP) in which the implementation stages only include inception, elaboration, and construction is part of the methodology used. Then using Uinifbieid Miodeilling Language modeling and alpha testing using the Black Box Ties method is carried out at the construction stage, while programming languages PHP and MySQL are the databases. The results of this research are in the form of a Sales Cashier Application for Web-Based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises that chooses multi-user access rights and is equipped with transaction features, debt management, and income statements.

Abstract

In the production process of custom motorbikes based on Engineering to Order, it is possible to estimate the time for the production process, but it is not certain when the motorbike will be finished on time, so delays often occur where the estimated time given to consumers does not match the work process time in the field. The purpose of this research is to design a production scheduling information system in the form of a prototype so that builders are able to provide information about the development of the production process in the "Wolfson Motorworks" custom workshop. The method used is the prototype model and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and the diagrams used are use case diagrams. This research only reaches the system model prototype that can be simulated using the figma application. The result of this research is the success of production scheduling in the form of SOPs for making structured custom motorbikes, a combination of work has been carried out by utilizing existing human resources and the concept of making custom motorbikes as many as 3 motorbikes if done simultaneously and system design in the form of a prototype with a sample navigation system.

Abstract

Digital invitations are a trend that is in demand, one of which is a wedding invitation. Digital invitations are in great demand because of the ease with which they can be distributed using social media without the need to deliver them to the homes of those invited. Content management wedding invitations aim to be able to assist users in managing wedding invitations so that it becomes easier with invitation customization and invitation distribution that can quickly reduce paper usage and assist in admin financial management. This study uses the Object-Oriented Hypermedia Design Method (OOHDM) using the stages used in building a multimedia web-based wedding invitation content management system, namely the stages of domain analysis, navigational design, abstract interface design, and implementation. The results obtained are in the form of a content management system that can assist users in creating and managing and designing wedding invitations according to their wishes, can assist admins in managing finances, print financial reports automatically and also helps users to create or manage invitations. By using the wedding invitation content management system, technological results are obtained that can contribute to helping information provision activities within the scope of wedding invitations to become more modular and reusable, assisting users in the process of managing wedding invitations, customizing the appearance as desired, assisting admins or web managers in managing financial reports by saving time in searching financial data by date.

Abstract

CV Serin Transport is a subsidiary of PT Fajar Prakasa, CV Serin Transport is engaged in goods delivery services. Services at CV Serin Transport include the distribution of fertilizers, both subsidized and non-subsidized, as for delivery areas including Garut, Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, and Sumedang districts. Problems with CV Serin Transport in scheduling Fleet departures still use manual, namely only using Microsoft excel is also data storage, data security, and presentation of information that is less efficient and effective, as well as recapitulation by the Administration which is done by one person. If a Fleet asks for departure schedule information for the delivery of goods, the result is that it becomes an obstacle to work and disrupts time efficiency and reduces company performance and profits. Vehicle Management Information System at CV Serin Transport, which was built to record goods delivery scheduling and produce a report on the scheduling of goods shipments to facilitate the presentation of information to Owners and Fleet. This Vehicle Management Information System uses the RAD (Rapid Application Development) Method using several stages, namely business modeling, data modeling, process modeling, application development, testing, and sales. The expected results in making the Vehicle Management System at CV Serin Transport can optimize the performance of the company.

Abstract

Unit Layanan SMKN 3 Garut digunakan sebagai fasilitas dalam menyusun laporan Praktek Kerja Industri siswa. Penyusunan Laporan Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang harus dilakukan oleh siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan setelah melaksanakan Kegiatan Prakerin. Banyaknya siswa yang menyusun Laporan Prakerin serta adanya keterbatasan Unit Layanan yang tersedia mengakibatkan terjadinya penumpukan antrean siswa yang ingin menyusun Laporan Prakerin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mensimulasikan model proses antreannya dengan menggunakan 3 Skenario untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi model yang dapat menyelesaikan antrean siswa. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Simulasi dengan disiplin antrean menggunakan metode First In First Out dan model sistem antreannya adalah Multiple Channel Single Phase dengan ProModel sebagai tools pemodelan. Penelitian ini tidak membahas mengenai spesifikasi komputer dan harga komputer yang digunakan dan direkomendasikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa rekomendasi model simulasi usulan yang dapat memperbaiki sistem saat ini dengan jumlah 100 kelompok siswa yaitu Skenario 3 (Simulasi 2) dengan 14 Unit Layanan, serta rekomendasi model simulasi usulan untuk masa datang yaitu setiap 10 penambahan kelompok siswa dilakukan penambahan 2 Unit Layanan

Abstract

Needs analysis as the basis of English for specific purposes (ESP) is deemed crucial to identify the target materials or languages used in the teaching-learning process and to design an effective curriculum. This study aims to investigate engineering students' needs for English-speaking materials in the English club program of one private university in Garut. To address the result of ESP analysis, the researchers used the descriptive qualitative method with questionnaires and interviews as the instruments. The need analysis result revealed that the English learning goal for the students in the English club program is to communicate actively in English. Their interest in learning English in this program is to improve their speaking ability to support their formal study as university students since it influences their academic performance and prepares them to fulfill the demands of job requirements in the future. Most students consider that the materials they need to learn are related to job life, academic purposes as engineering students, and social interaction. The result also suggests that the module created by the tutor for the English club program should focus on topics related to job life that are relevant to the current situation.
