Abstract

Wireless ad-hoc merupakan sebuah skema jaringan yang didesain supaya mampu beroperasi tanpa membutuhkan infrastruktur tetap serta bersifat otonom. Teknik flooding pada proses path discovery dalam kasus wireless ad-hoc network dapat menimbulkan masalah beban jaringan yang berlebihan. Oleh karena itu, sebuah skema clustering diusulkan untuk mengurangi adanya flooding paket yang berlebihan dengan membagi node-node dalam jaringan menjadi beberapa bagian berdasarkan parameter tertentu. Teknik ini efektifuntuk mengurangi paket yang harus dilewatkan dalam jaringan. Namun masalah muncul ketika sebuah jaringan wireless ad-hoc harus membentuk sebuah cluster dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa parameter khusus. Parameter tersebut harus disesuaikan dengan kasus yang dihadapi. Pada tulisan ini akan dibahas secara khusus mengenai penerapan skema clustering dalam lingkungan wireless ad-hoc network, baik pada MANETdan penyesuaian skema clustering yang harus dilakukan pada VANET berdasarkan mobilitasnya.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data Kementrian pendidikan dan kebudayaan, sebanyak 34.19 persen sekolah di Indonesia dari 34 provinsi, belum memiliki perpustakaan. Padahal sesuai amanat UU No 43 Tahun 2007 hendaknya lembaga pendidikan termasuk sekolah ditunjang dengan perpustakaan. Perpustakaan tentu harus mengiringi perkembangan jaman dan mampu untuk memberikan layanan berbasis teknologi. Berdasar hal tersebut dan fakta bahwa tidak semua perpustakaan sekolah berjalan sesuai standar perpustakaan apalagi memanfaatkan otomasi perpustakaan. Maka pengabdian dalam bentuk pelatihan ini menjadi solusi dari gambaran permasalahan diatas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ialah ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Diikuti oleh 34 peserta dari pengelola perpustakaan Se Malang Raya yang terdiri dari Sekolah Swasta, Sekolah Negeri, Pondok Pesantren. Saat pelatihan aplikasi otomasi perpustakaan 100% terinstall pada laptop peserta dan dapat digunakan. Sehingga pengelolaan perpustakaan yang manual sudah terbantukan dengan otomasi perpustakaan dan meninggalkan proses manual/paperbased service ke arah perpustakaan digital. Kendala yang dihadapi peserta ketika monitoring dan evaluasi ialah dukungan teknis penyediaan hardware yang belum dipenuhi oleh pihak sekolah. Saran dan tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini ialah ditingkatkannya pada tahap lebih lanjut yaitu inovasi layanan dan akreditasi perpustakaan.Kata kunci: otomasi perpustakaan; perpustakaan digital; perpustakaan sekolahImplementation of School Library Automation in Malang RayaABSTRACT  Based on data from the Ministry of education and culture, as many as 34.19 percents of schools in Indonesia from 34 provinces, do not yet have a library. Yet according to the mandate of Law No. 43 of 2007 educational institutions including schools should be supported by libraries. Libraries certainly have to accompany the development of the era and be able to provide technology-based services. Based on this and the fact that not all school libraries run according to library standards let alone utilize library automation. Then this service in the form of training is the solution to the picture above problems. The methods used in this service are lectures, training and mentoring. Participated in 34 participants from the library manager of Se Malang Raya consisting of Private Schools, Public Schools, Islamic Boarding Schools. During training, the library automation application is 100% installed on the participant's laptop and can be used. So that manual library management is helped by library automation and leaves the manual / paper-based service process in the direction of digital libraries. The obstacle faced by participants when monitoring and evaluation is technical support for providing the hardware that has not been met by the school. Suggestions and follow-up from this activity are to be improved at a further stage, namely service innovation and library accreditation.Keywords: library automation; digital library; school library

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a web-based digital dictionary library information system as an effort to increase the inventory of lexicography scientific cultural entries in the DigiTech Education era during the current COVID-19 Pandemic. This digital dictionary library information system is expected to be a means of archiving the archipelago cultural dictionaries created by students and can be widely accessed by people who need information related to the contents of the dictionary. Abstract

The public library is one of the institutions that have the function and task of preserving indigenous knowledge. Recorded in the form of collections stored in the library's local content service consist of printed books, e-books, and audio-visual collections use social media, especially Instagram, can facilitate the dissemination of indigenous knowledge information to local content collections in public libraries. This study aimed to produce media to promote Blitar's indigenous knowledge in the form of infographics with information sourced from the local content collection at the Blitar Public Library. Research method used development method and the Four-D development model with product development stages consisting of defining, designing, developing, and distributing. Respondents in this study were the people of Blitar, media promotion experts, material experts, and expert practitioners (librarians). In this study, product trials were carried out on three aspects consist of material, visual, and language. Based on the trials and validity tests results, it concludes that Blitar's local content promotion media products in the form of infographics are suitable for use with revisions. Blitar local wisdom infographics increase the reach by maximizing the use of hashtags and scheduling infographic uploads at the best times. Local content promotion media products in infographics form produced in this development research are quite good.  However, there needs to be some improvement especially on material aspect.  The material that was carried did not represent all local wisdom topics in Blitar.

Abstract

Abstract: There is a change in National Examination into National Assessment that gives a different challenge for the teachers and students. The instrument of National Assessment has three components: (1) Minimum Competency Assessment, (2) Character Survey, and (3) Academic Environment Survey. To aim the maximum marks on National Assessment, the students should have a high literacy skill. It could be achieved using the School Literacy Movement (GLS). The research used literature study using secondary data. The analysis used descriptive method systematically and critically. Conceptually, the School Literacy Movement (GLS) would be a great way to help the students improve their literacy skill and develop their critical minds. However, practically there are many schools that have difficulties in implementing the School Literacy Movement. There are three obstacles that hindering the implementation of School Literacy Movement: (1) Facilities and infrastructures, (2) Bureaucracy, and (3) Human Resources. Those obstacles could be solved with the change of the mindset to optimize the School Literacy Movement: (1) Motivation, (2) Instant Gratification, (3) Observation, (4) Novelty, (5) Analytical and Critical Thinking, and (6) Freedom of Choices. The change of mindset is needed to enhance the effectivity and efficiency of the School Literacy Movement so that the facilitators and the students could improve their literacy skill for National Assessment in the near future, and to improve the character of the people of Indonesia in the future. Keywords: School Literacy Movement, national assessment, GLS Optimalization Abstrak: Perubahan format Ujian Nasional menjadi Asesmen Nasional memberikan tantangan tersendiri terhadap para guru dan siswa. Instrumen AN memiliki 3 aspek: (1) Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM), (2) Survei Karakter, dan (3) Survei Lingkungan Belajar. Untuk mencapai nilai AKM yang maksimal, siswa harus memiliki tingkat literasi yang tinggi. Hal itu dapat dicapai dengan menggunakan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur menggunakan data sekunder. Proses analisis secara deskriptif dilakukan setelah data yang diperoleh, dikaji secara mendalam, dengan urutan yang sistematis, dan kritis. Secara konsep, GLS akan sangat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan sikap kritis siswa. Akan tetapi, secara praktik masih banyak sekolah yang kesulitan untuk memaksimalkan GLS dengan baik. Beberapa jenis kendala yang dialami oleh sekolah yaitu: (1) Kendala sarana dan prasarana, (2) Kendala birokratis, dan (3) Kendala sumber daya manusia. Kendala-kendala tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan beberapa perubahan paradigma berpikir untuk optimalisasi GLS yang telah diusulkan, yaitu: (1) Motivasi, (2) Gratifikasi Instan, (3) Observasi, (4) Kebaruan, (5) Pembiasaan Sikap Analitis, dan (6) Pemberian Kebebasan. Dengan adanya perubahan paradigma berpikir ini diharapkan para fasilitator dan siswa dapat meningkatkan literasi dan karakternya agar berhasil menempuh AN dalam jangka pendek, dan menguatkan karakter moral bangsa dalam jangka panjang. Abstract

In this globalization era, the internet has been the main media which everyone used to exchange information, from the public such as sport to top secret such as military data. Hence, the requirement of data hiding method called steganography is rising. Steganography is hiding the secret information into another media so that it could be transferred publicly, but only the authorized users could access it. There were two main problems in the data hiding technique: the capacity of the secret and the quality of the generated stego data. In this proposed method, we combined digital image processing called interpolation, used it to predict the new pixel value to hide the secret bit in purpose to increase the bit data capacity with the consequence the reduction of the stego image quality. The experimental result showed that the capacity has increased from that of the previous research.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a partnership model between Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions and families based on blended learning and to test the partnership model's effectiveness in stimulating children's development. The research and development (R&D) method is used in this research. This study develops a blended learning-based partnership model between the Institute and the family and tests the model's effectiveness in stimulating children's development. The research subjects were principals, teachers, administrators, and parents at TPA Melati Dharma Wanita Persatuan UM. The results showed that the factual partnership model becomes a reference in developing the school's partnership model with parents through the blended learning method. This factual model includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the school's partnership program with parents. Through the blended learning method, the school partnership model with parents can help TPA Melati UM develop and implement a school partnership program with parents, which must be adapted to school conditions. It is the objective of School-Based Quality Improvement Management (Manajemen Peningkatan Mutu Berbasis Sekolah-MPMBS). Factors that influence the effectiveness of the blended learning model include the basic requirements of the model, the profile, roles and characteristics of the school, and monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika berfokus pada pengembangan kreativitas, bakat, dan po­tensi siswa dengan cara yang interaktif, menantang, menginspirasi, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Siswa dapat berkembang secara fisik dan psikologis sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan mereka. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan gagasan tentang pembel­ajaran berdiferensiasi. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan upaya untuk menye­suaikan proses pembelajaran untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar setiap siswa. Saat ini, penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi masih terbatas. Peneliti melakukan tinjau­an pustaka terkait topik tersebut dari segi konten, prosedur, produk, dan lingkungan belajar. Tujuan dari tinjauan pustaka ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan apa itu pembel­ajaran berdiferensiasi, (2) menjelaskan prinsip dan karakteristik pembelajaran berdi­ferensiasi, dan (3) mengobservasi bagaimana pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat di­terapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Tinjauan pustaka ini didasarkan pada artikel ilmiah dan buku. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pendekatan berdiferen­siasi dapat digabungkan dengan berbagai model pembelajaran yang disesuaikan deng­an gaya belajar siswa, seperti Problem Based Learning (PBL), Project Based Learning (PjBL), dan model lainnya yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa; (2) pendekatan ini lebih menarik dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa; dan (3) pendekatan ini dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika karena dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan belajar siswa yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar mereka dan minat mereka.

Abstract

Kompetensi menjadi tolak ukur untuk menentukan kapabilitas seseorang di masa depan. Kurikulum Perguruan Tinggi menjadi pentinn untuk disusun berdasarkan SKKNI terbaru. Pada bidang Ilmu Perpustakaan telah terbit SKKNI No 236 Tahun 2019 yang telah merubah peta kompetensi dengan unit-unit kompetensi yang terbaru. Sehingga perlu untuk menjaga kualitas lulusan sebelum SKKNI terbit dengan melakukan pengabdian berupa pelatihan pada alumni yang belum mendapatkan kompetensi tersebut. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan saat pre-test alumni rata-rata mendapatkan nilai cukup, setelah post-test rata-rata mendapatkan nilai sangat memuaskan.
