Abstract

Content-based image retrieval is an image search techniques from large image database by analyzing features of the image. Image feature can be color, texture, shape, and others. This study uses color and texture features when searching image. Color histogram is used to extract color features with quantization approach to HSV. Texture features in image obtained from the calculation of Gray-Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and multi-scale GLCM. Multi-scale GLCM using Gaussian smoothing to reduce noise in the image and considering multiple scale from an image. Image search results obtained from the comparison of the features of color and texture in database using Euclidean distance. The results show an image search on Wang database using color histogram and multi-scale GLCM obtain higher precision value than just taking one of the method or combinations of color histogram and GLCM.

Abstract

Pencarian gambar dapat dilakukan berdasarkan informasi fitur dari gambar. Pada penelitian ini, kombinasi fitur gambar (warna, tekstur dan bentuk) diterapkan dalam pendekatan yang berbeda, yaitu adanya skala pada gambar. Setiap gambar dengan skala yang berbeda melalui tahapan smoothing. Tahapan ini berfungsi untuk memperoleh nilai fitur yang lebih representatif dan mencegah pendeteksian piksel gambar yang tidak diperlukan. Dataset yang digunakan berasal dari dataset Wang. Tahapan berikutnya adalah perhitungan fitur gambar berdasarkan fitur warna dengan color histogram, fitur tekstur dengan Gray-Level Co-occurance Matrix, dan fitur bentuk dengan polar raster edge sampling signature. Hasil pencarian dihitung dari nilai Euclidean distance. Nilai f-measure digunakan untuk mengevvaluasi hasil pencarian berdasarkan nilai presisi dan recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi fitur warna, tekstur dan bentuk dapat meningkatkan keakuratan hasil pencarian gambar. Selain itu, perubahan skala gambar mampu meningkatkan hasil pencarian gambar berdasarkan fitur bentuk.

Abstract

Magabudhi and Patria are Buddhist Religious Organizations in North Sumatra province. These two organizations often conduct social activities where this activity can be carried out with the support of donations from sympathizers and donors. Both of them do not have formal procedures for donations management that make them experienced difficulties to socialize, fundraising, manage donations, and report the collected donation to donors. Meanwhile, the management of event are depended by the committee who has an experience before. The reporting of activities is published through internal notice boards and not be updated properly in online media. Therefore, Donacius was developed by having a formal procedure for the mechanism of donation management and as a medium for publication, fundraising, management of donations and reporting of social activities. Donacius was developed not only for the use of these two organizations, but Donacius can be used by many organizations. Others organization can register at Donacius to raise funds and donors can donate to many organizations through Donacius. With the presence of Donacius, it will increase the accountability and transparency of social activities of the organization to increase donor trust.

Abstract

One of the main forms of information and entertainment presentation is in the form of on-demand audio content or often referred as podcast. The problem met is the difficulty of users to find podcasts that match their preferences among hundreds of thousands of podcasts that are now available on the internet. Besides the number of podcasts, the incompletion of podcasts metadata is one of the problems in developing a recommendation system in general.This system is designed by utilizing N-Gram and Term Frequency to generate queries from the title and description of a podcast which will then be used to find other podcasts that are similar by utilizing Cosine Similarity calculations. The testing phase is done through by testing the system using nDCG calculations to determine the relevance level of the recommendation results. From the results, the average value of the relevance level of podcast recommendations is 53.8% and the best average f1-score of the 10 best categories is 14%.

Abstract

Today, classification performance has become increasingly important for credit risk assessment for loss control and revenue maximization. Therefore, a classification method is required that can accurately and efficiently measure the credit risk level of prospective borrowers as the key to the credit approval process. This study contributes to the development of feature selection methods with SI algorithms that use binary representation, namely feature selection using PSO algorithms with binary representation or Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) applied to credit risk classification, with classification evaluation using kNN classification method. The application of feature selection is done to eliminate excessive features, thus reducing the number of features, improving the accuracy of the model, and reducing running time. The test results showed that KNN's best accuracy of 76.40%, can be improved by bpso-based selection feature with better accuracy of 88.70%, with an accuracy improvement of 13.35%. This test showed that bpso-based selection feature technique successfully improved the accuracy of KNN classification on credit risk classification.

Abstract

Kode program merupakan salah satu keluaran dalam proses pengembangan sistem. Kualitas dari kode program dapat digunakan untuk merepresentasikan kualitas sistem secara keseluruhan. Salah satu cara untuk mengukur kualitas dari program adalah menghitung nilai metrik kualitas. Nilai-nilai dari metrik kualitas sulit dimengerti karena memiliki makna tersendiri dan bersifat tidak tentu. Pada penelitian ini, faktor kualitas eksternal berupa reusability dan efficiency diukur melalui pendekatan fuzzy logic Mamdani. Masukan dari fuzzy logic diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan CK Metrics dari kode program berorientasi objek. Keluaran dari penelitian berupa aplikasi yang mampu menghitung nilai metrik kualitas eksternal dengan menghasilkan nilai kuantitatif dan kualitatif dari kode program, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk membandingkan dua atau lebih kode program.

Abstract

Aplikasi mobile merupakan sebuah program aplikasi yang dapat dijalankan atau digunakan walaupun pengguna berpindah-pindah dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. Trend penggunaan aplikasi mobile juga dirasakan oleh Gereja MFC. Saat ini Gereja MFC sedang mempersiapkan implementasi aplikasi mobile namun terkendala dengan admin gereja yang belum memiliki pengalaman dalam mengelola aplikasi. Oleh karena itu, sebelum dilakukan implementasi maka dibutuhkan pendampingan pengelolaan aplikasi yang harapannya dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi admin gereja dalam mengelola aplikasi. Pengelolaan aplikasi dilakukan melalui sebuah website yang dinilai dapat memberikan tingkat fleksibilitas yang lebih tinggi bagi admin. Pelatihan dihadiri oleh 2 (dua) orang staf admin dari gereja dan 4 (empat) orang tutor yang membantu memberikan pelatihan. Empat orang tutor terdiri dari 2 (dua) orang dosen dan 2 (dua) orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Selama proses pelatihan, admin sangat antusias dan mampu memahami penjelasan yang diberikan tutor. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui interaksi langsung dengan admin dan penggunaan langsung terhadap aplikasi dan website. Admin diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya sepanjang pelatihan berlangsung. Untuk menilai pemahaman admin, tutor memberikan kesempatan kepada admin untuk memasukan data nyata dan meminta untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kaitan antar fitur dan fungsi yang ada. Admin juga memberikan feedback positif terhadap kemudahan penggunaan baik pada aplikasi maupun website. Pendekatan pelatihan melalui penjelasan dan praktik langsung, serta hasil pengukuran usability diyakini mampu memberikan kemudahan penggunaan bagi admin.   A mobile application is an application program that can be run or used even if the user moves from one place to another. The trend of using mobile applications is also felt by the MFC Church. Currently the MFC Church is preparing to implement a mobile application but is hampered by church admins who do not have experience in managing applications. Therefore, before implementation, application management assistance is needed which hopefully will make it easier for church admins to manage the application. Application management is carried out through a website which is considered to provide a higher level of synchronization for admins. With this website, church admins can add, change, update information and services on the mobile application which will later be accessed by the congregation. The training was attended by 2 (two) admin staff from the church and 4 (four) tutors who helped provide the training. The four tutors consist of 2 (two) lecturers and 2 (two) students who take part in community service activities. During the training process, the admin was very enthusiastic and able to understand the explanations given by the tutor. Training is carried out through direct interaction with the admin and direct use of the application and website. Evaluation activities are carried out by assessing the admin's understanding where the tutor asks the admin to enter real data and asks the admin to explain how the existing features and functions are related. Evaluation is also carried out by measuring usability which shows that the website is easy to use by admins.

Abstract

The welfare of adopted animals is an important aspect that should be a concern for improving the quality of life and overall health of these animals. However, in the real situation that occurs, the welfare of adopted animals is often neglected by those who adopt these animals. Proper welfare practices for pets can enhance the quality of life and ensure their good health, reducing the risk of diseases and preventing disease transmission. Medan Animal Rescue is an organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of adopted animals. To support  the process of animal rescue and placement, an information system is needed to facilitate the activities at Medan Animal Rescue. The information system is developed using the waterfall methodology and tested using the black box testing method and user acceptance testing (UAT). The ultimate result of this research is an information system that can be utilized by both Medan Animal Rescue and adopters in the process to enhance the welfare of adopted animals.

Abstract

Animals that receive welfare are in good condition, both physically and mentally. Based on research conducted by Bracke's Animal Protection Index (API), Indonesia received a 'D' rating. The explosion of the street animal population has become an issue in urban areas. The lack of care and handling of street animals has led to an explosion in the population of street animals such as stray cats and dogs. This population explosion has also led to various problems such as the rise of animal abuse cases, and the illegal capture of street animals for meat sale. Medan Animal Rescue is an organization engaged in rescuing abandoned animals and distributing abandoned animals as pets. In carrying out its operational activities, Medan Animal Rescue still uses simple and conventional methods. To overcome the problem of not maximizing the operational activities that take place, the utilization of information technology in the form of web-based animal adoption applications is very important to be applied to Medan Animal Rescue. The results obtained from the development of a web-based animal adoption application at Medan Animal Rescue show that the average user acceptance of the application is 85.54%. This means that the application is very helpful and worth using for animal welfare.
