One model in developing a tourism village is to institute a connection with other more established attractions. This research is to find out whether this strategy can be applied to develop tourism in Cikadu hamlet by initiating a connection with a more established resort nearby. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The data were collected through observations and interviews with key informants. General Manager of the resorts, tourism activists of the hamlet, and government staffs in the village were interviewed to look into the problems. Historically, there were a number of tourists already directed by Tanjung Lesung Resorts to have a trip to Cikadu hamlet. The model of connecting a more established resort to help develop tourism in a nearby hamlet has shown some results. Tourists who stayed at the resort had come to the hamlet for certain periods to make an alternative trip in enriching their holiday. However, it appeared that the hamlet wasn?t ready enough to host tourists from the resorts for the lack of tourism competencies of human resources. Most of the tourism executors in the hamlet were farmers, so the experience design was not optimal. The handling of the tour programs was considered un-proficient for the resort?s guests. The model of establishing connection to resort tourists in developing tourism in Cikadu can actually be achieved. Albeit, designing a more appropriate tour program is essential to keep the tourists visit continually.

The development of digital tourism in Indonesia seems to occur quite rapidly. The tourism industry in Indonesia also looks relatively ready to face this era where quite a number of companies engaged in tourism have adopted digital tourism in their business models. Moreover, there has been a shift in the generation of tourism in the world towards millennial generation or Generation Y. Even now the latest generation has grown, namely Generation Z. Things that can not be avoided will provide a new environment in the development of the tourism industry. This next generation transition will also present new challenges, including for the Tourism Education Institute, especially in this case the Higher Education Institution. This article is a non-research article in which the author pours his thoughts on the problem being studied. The writing of this article is based on a review of sources relevant to this problem. In this article it was revealed that tourism education in Indonesia still has a role in the development of the tourism industry. The main role is in maintaining the values ??of tourism that have developed since the Baby Boomers, Generation X and continue to Generation Y and Generation Z, but by remaining open to the development of tourism 4.0 and its changes.

Kampung Tajur is a unique village located in the village of Pasanggrahan, Purwakarta. Kampung Tajur has a variety of ecotourism potentials, but Kampung Tajur needs to improve the quality of service, especially in terms of guiding services. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the interpretation of the material for guidance in Kampung Tajur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and literature study. This research has several key informants in Kampung Tajur, such as tour guides and informants from the tourism industry, pokdarwis and community leaders in Kampung Tajur. Based on the research results, it was found that at this time the guides in Kampung Tajur did not have any reference material for interpretation. Interpretation is only done as it is. Meanwhile, the development of interpretation material faces several obstacles, one of which is the lack of human resources as a tour guide, especially as a guide for foreign tourists, so it is necessary to make a bilingual guidebook containing interpretation material for guides. Therefore, it is necessary to produce a bilingual guidebook containing translated material for tour guides. This is necessary to anticipate differences in interpretation between guides and clarity of interpretation for tourists.

Increasing visitors to Bandung Techno Park (BTP) indicates the potential resources it has to develop as a visitor or tourist attraction. In spite of that, the management of this facility sees it largely as a form of impediment that slows down the pace of their business. They mainly consider the Techno Park to its primary function; becoming the hub connecting the ICT society consists of Business, Academic, and Government. In fact Bandung Techno Park is also meant to become the centre of scientific transmission to educate the people around it, particularly in regards to ICT. It shows that the increasing visit of the general community actually is in line with the BTP’s vision, transmitting the knowledge about ICT to the people. Nonetheless, the case in BTP is that the management has difficulties in handling the visitors who increasingly outnumber the available staffs with no particular skill and facilities needed in handling visitors. This study has observed the facilities and interviewed the management of BTP to find out some of the feature needed in developing tourist attraction. The article focuses on one element, which is Context Marker, to establish the Techno Park to be a suitable tourist attraction for future visitors.

The digital technology that has been around us for a long time has had a significant impact on our lives today. Digital technology is prevalent in many sectors of life, such as entertainment, information search tools, and online shopping and purchasing. It is by far the best choice for society in general during the current pandemic. Saung Angklung Udjo is one of West Java's tourist attraction offering traditional Sundanese arts and culture. With the Covid-19 pandemic, SAU must innovate in order to help the government's agenda in controlling the virus's spread, thus to survive under present conditions. This research examines the authenticity of a tourist's experience after virtually participating in an event hosted by SAU. The study's findings suggest that a virtual show in general has not been able to complete the authenticity of the visitor experience in seeing a cultural performance. However, based on the kind of performances presented by SAU, tourists can still have a genuine experience, particularly in the dimension of Existential Authenticity. This means that, to some extent, the experience of viewing virtual performances offers a sense of authenticity to personal experience, but the experience is not perfect, particularly in the aspects of involvement and interactivity.
