Abstract

Since January 2015 the government has begun to abolish some product subsidies, especially for the marketing area of Java Bali and Madura. This opens up opportunities for new players to enter the oil and gas sector given the increasingly promising profits. the emergence of this new competitor adds to fierce competition between outlets, and to maintain cost efficiency a flexibility strategy and innovation strategy are implemented, especially related to the distribution of products from the company to all outlets where transportation equipment is adjusted so that it can transport various types of products to several outlets at a time . This condition is accompanied by a policy that a conveyance may send to various outlets at a time. Initially, business performance improved rapidly but with the increasing number of outlets there were several product distribution accidents, subsidized deposits, customers switching to other outlets including those owned by foreign companies, and backlog transaction constraints. The problem is that the partner's trust has declined including customers to the company as a result of very strict supervision in the midst of environmental changes as a result of changes in government policies and regulations lately. The sample became the object of research is customer stations in Central Java and Yogyakarta as many as 200 customer in the Gas Station Central Java and Yogyakarta. Methods of data analysis used in this study is a quantitative analysis method where quantitative data analysis method is a method of analysis in the form of figures and calculations using statistical methods. In simplify the analysis process, will be used SEM, AMOS. Keywords : Product Cohesiveness, Quality Business Strategy, Business Performance, Competitive Advantage

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan baru bagi dunia kerja adalah tingginya jumlah millennial (Generasi Y) yang masuk kedalam dunia kerja dengan keistimewaan yang cenderung berbeda dengan generasi-generasi sebelumnya. Dalam dunia pekerjaan, millennial sering disebut-sebut sebagai generasi yang menyukai kebebasan dan fleksibilitas seperti kebebasan belajar, bekerja, maupun berbisnis. Generasi ini juga dikatakan sebagai challenge seeker. Tahun 2020 hingga tahun 2030 diprediksi bahwa Indonesia akan mencapai puncak populasi usia produktif sebesar 70% dari total penduduk Indonesia (Sebastian, Amran, dan Youth Lab, 2016). Hal ini bisa menjadi keuntungan untuk perekonomian dan kemajuan Indonesia apabila generasi millennial sebagai generasi dengan jumlah yang besar bisa dikelola dengan baik. Terlebih lagi apabila setiap perusahaan dapat mengelola tenaga kerja millenialnya. Generasi Y telah menjadi topik penelitian yang sudah banyak diangkat di dunia karena banyaknya usia produktif dan angkatan kerja yang didominasi oleh generasi tersebut. Hanya saja di Indonesia masih sedikit penelitian yang mengangkat topik mengenai generasi Y. Alasan yang melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah penelitian sebelumnya mengenai generasiY yang dilakukan di Amerika maupun negara-negara lainnya belum tentu sama dengan karakteristik generasi Y di Indonesia. Adapun jumlah sampel adalah 200 sampel. Hal ini sudah memenuhi syarat minimum sampel yang mampu digunakan untuk olah data statistik. Namun yang digunakan hanya 100 data karena data lainnya tidak bisa digunakan dalam penelitian dengan alasan jawaban responden yang tidak merata pada setiap kuesionernya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kepemimpinan pelayan terhadap kepuasan kerja dalam mempengaruhi kinerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STIE di Kota Semarang, responden yang digunakan sebanyak 130 dosen yang ada di STIE AKA, STIE SEMARANG dan STIE TOTALWIN. Dalam pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan SEM. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini kecerdasan emosional tidak mampu memberikan pengaruh kepada kinerja. Kecerdasan emosional tidak berpengaruh kepada kepuasan kerja. Kepemimpinan pelayan berpengaruh positif kepada kinerja. Kepemimpinan pelayan berpengaruh kepada kepuasan kerja serta kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional, Kepemimpinan Layanan, Kepuasan Kerja, Kinerja

Abstract

Dengan diumumkannya status karantina wilayah oleh Presiden Jokowi atas semakin mewabahnya Virus corona, maka secara tidak langsung berdampak secara menyeluruh dari segi ekonomi khususnya bagi masyarakat menengah kebawah. Dalam hal ini peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah dalam Undang-Undang Kekarantinaan Kesehatan yang disebutkan bahwa selama dalam karantina wilayah, kebutuhan hidup dasar orang yang berada di wilayah karantina menjadi tanggung jawab Pemerintah. Kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat di sini berkaitan dengan kesehatan, kondisi ekonomi domestik rumah tangga, rasa aman-nyaman, serta kualitas hidup yang baik. Sehingga masyarakat yang sedang dihadapkan pada pandemi Covid-19 dapat tetap memenuhi kebutuhan dasarnya dan menjalankan fungsi sosialnya. Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebar ke berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia. Sebagai akibatnya, hampir semua sektor mengalami kontraksi, tidak terkecuali perbankan syariah. Namun, perbankan syariah dianggap cukup mampu bertahan dari dampak tersebut berdasarkan fakta empiris krisis-krisis yang terjadi sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana kinerja karyawan pada perbankan syariah dimasa pandemi covid-19. Dalam hal ini perbankan Syariah dituntut harus mampu berkembang walaupun berada di masa pandemic covid-19 ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perusahaan perbankan syariah khususnya di Jawa Barat. Sampel yang digunakan adalah karyawan yang telah bekerja minimum dua tahun dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi bagi perusahaan dengan kebijakan sebagai upaya pengelolaan karyawan perbankn Syariah di masa pandemic covid-19 agar tetap pada pedoman Alquran dan Hadist serta memberikan kontribusi bagi ilmu pengetahuan yang ada.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of individual characteristics andIntrinsic motivation on innovative behaviour and employee performance, and the effectinnovative behaviour on employee performance. The study was conducted at banking company, the sample size is about 200 employees. Methods of data analysis used in thisstudy is a quantitative analysis method where quantitative data analysis method is a method of analysis in the form of figures and calculations using statistical methods. In simplify the analysis process, will be used Structural Equations Modeling (SEM). According to the analysis, it is concluded as the followings: individual characteristics has a positive effect oninnovative behaviour; intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on innovative behaviour; individual characteristics has a positive effect on employee performance intrinsic motivation has a negative effect on employee performance and innovative behaviour has apositive effect on employee performance. The results of this study and the limitations found to be a source of ideas and input for the development of this study in the future, the suggested expansion of this research include: Future research is not only done from one employee's perspective, rather it is recommended at the same time from two points of view, namely the perspective of the leaders / top management / manager and also the point of view of the employees themselves.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyse the effect of Safety Climate, Work Satisfaction and Safety Motivation that influences the employee Safety Behavior at employee APAC Manufacture in Indonesia. The study involved 200 employees as the questionnaire respondents from 4 department production APAC manufacturing company. Simple random sampling was use at quantitative research with a proportional quantity of responden have taken in every department depend on total employee in each department. The validation of qualitative result have used by honest validation from respondens which was confirmated and approved by responden’s with their signature at qualitative question and answer list. Based on the result of The Safety Climate is positive and significant influence to the Safety Motivation The Work Satisfaction is positive and significant influence to the Safety Motivation, The Safety Climate is positive and significant influence to the Safety Behavior, The Work Satisfaction is not influence to the Safety Behavior and The Safety Motivation is positive and significant to the Safety Behavior

Abstract

This study aims to find out the description of students' entreprenership interests and the factors that influence them. Factors studied are motivation, education and family environment. The study was conducted on STIE Bank BPD Central Java students who have taken entrepreneurship courses. Sampling using purposive sampling and obtained 90 samples. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed using regression techniques. The test results found that partially the entrepreneurship motivation and entrepreneurship education had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Simultaneous testing shows that entrepreneurship motivation, entrepreneurial education and family environment together have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Efforts to increase entrepreneurship intention can be done by increasing entrepreneurship motivation and entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

Purpose: The goal of this study is to test and examine the effect of organizational support on employee engagement and OCB; the impact of career development on employee engagement and OCB; as well as the impact of employee engagement on OCB. The survey was carried out on Indonesia's 200 Sharia Banking Generation Z employees.Design/methodology/approach: All Generation Z employees working as the population in Islamic banking companies in Indonesia use the questionnaire and interviews to collect data. The purposeful sampling was used in this study where the researcher understood that it was possible to gather the appropriate information from a particular population that was able to provide the information requested and that the predetermined criteria had been fulfilled. Since the population is too large, this method was chosen. 200 samples consist of the sample number. In this analysis, SEM is the method used to process information (Structural Equation Model)Findings: The organizational support variable is shown to be capable of influencing employee engagement, which means that the better organizational support offered by the company would also increase the greater engagement of Generation Z employees in Sharia banking. Variables in work growth can affect employee engagement, meaning that the greater company's career development, the greater employee's engagement. Organizational support has been shown to affect OCB, which shows that the better organizational support of the corporation, the greater organizational citizenship behavior of the employee. It is seen that career development is capable of impacting OCB, which means that the greater employee's additional position operation will bring  a stronger implementation of career development. The employee engagement variable has also proven to be able to influence OCB, which means that the greater employee engagement, the greater additional role of Generation Z employees in Islamic banking.Research limitations/implications: Limitations in this study include the nature of open-ended questions which are less understood by respondents, so that many respondents responded with inappropriate answers and some others were not filled in causing the lack of information obtained about the actual situation in current Islamic banking. With this limitation, it is hoped that further scientific research will be considered and made to obtain better research results.Practical implications: The organization would concentrate more on progress in the career development system, taking into account, among other considerations, other variables. Organizations could try to shape their identities as responsible corporate or global citizens by taking a leadership position in sustainable business practices and demonstrating to millennials that OCB is an important way to meet their service needs. The millennial workers would welcome these events, which would encourage them to take on additional duties by assisting other colleagues. Such efforts will be necessary in the twenty-first century to build an effective workforce.Originality/value: It has been shown that employee engagement as an intervening variable can mediate the impact on organizational citizenship behavior between organizational support and career growth, although calculations show that the direct effect of independent variables (organizational support and career development) on OCB is greater than that through employee engagement variable (indirect influence)

Abstract

The number of micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in 2017 was recorded at 45 million business units. The majority of our economic actors are small and medium enterprises. In addition, this sector also absorbs 79 million people from the 100 million Indonesian workforce. Therefore, there must be various efforts made to develop small businesses in Indonesia, so that this sector develops better. Semarang City and Semarang Regency are the lowest cities for the number of batik entrepreneurs, therefore batik from Semarang City and Semarang Regency is the focus of research. If Semarangan Batik UKM cannot maintain its existence and make improvements to deal with market behavior that is increasingly open in the future, Semarangan Batik will be left far behind other batik-producing districts.population is 150 Semarangan Batik UMKM players in Semarang City and Semarang Regency as many as 150. The results of testing the effect of information technology utilization on competitive advantage is information technology has a positive effect on competitive advantage, the use of information technology has a positive effect on business performance, innovation strategies have a positive effect on excellence competing, innovation strategies do not have a positive effect on business performance and competitive advantage has a positive effect on business performance
