Abstract

The existence of Marana geothermal manifestations of hot springs scattered in Masaingi Sub-district, Donggala District, Central Sulawesi Province, indicates geothermal prospect zone. Therefore, in order to obtain the subsurface model and to interpret the prospect zone, has been conducted an interpretation of Marana geothermal subsurface area based on magnetic anomaly data. The research uses secondary data of magnetic anomaly obtained from Centre for Geological Resources, Bandung, Indonesia. The research area is located on UTM zone system 50 which close to the magnetic equator, therefore the reduction to equator (RTE) process is applied to the IGRF corrected dan diurnal variations. The Upward Continuation is conducted to obtain a regional magnetic anomaly on 600 meters. Furthermore, 2.5-dimensional modeling on subsurface had done by the Talwani method using Software Oasis Montaj. The 2.5-dimensional modeling results show that the contrast of magnetic susceptibility value of Marana Geothermal rocks. Medium magnetic susceptibility value are metamorphic rock complex and Tinombo Alhburg Formation with values ranging from 0,69-0,8 (x10-2SI). Formation of Molasa Celebes Sarasin and Sarasin have low magnetic susceptibility with values 0,007-0,01 (x10-2SI), whereas high magnetic susceptibility value are granite and granodiorite (1,2x10-2SI). The new intrusion is found in the body of granite and granodiorite with magnetic susceptibility value 2,1 (x10-2SI). Based on the result of Marana geothermal modelling, the prospect zone (reservoir) is estimated in the West of research area which near the Masaingi hot spring. The prospect zone is estimated to be sandstone at a depth of ± 1200 metre. The heat source is the new intrusion thought to be a heat source (diorite) with a depth of> 4500 m. Clay cap is predicted to be an altered sandstone of argillitic alteration. The Masaingi hot spring is indicated to be an upflow zone just above the heat source, while the outflow zone is estimated to be in the southern of the research area.

Abstract

Background: Traditional naval maintenance strategies rely on centralized supply chains and pre-manufactured spare parts, leading to long repair downtimes and logistical inefficiencies, particularly for vessels operating in remote maritime regions. Additive manufacturing (3D printing) offers a disruptive alternative by enabling on-demand production of spare parts, reducing dependence on external suppliers, and enhancing fleet self-sufficiency. However, material durability, operational feasibility, and cost-effectiveness remain underexplored for naval applications. Original Value: This research advances the study of AM in naval engineering, assessing its practical viability beyond theoretical potential. Unlike previous studies focusing on commercial maritime applications, this study evaluates 3D printing’s impact on naval fleet readiness, supply chain resilience, and sustainability. Objectives: The study investigates how 3D printing can optimize naval maintenance efficiency, specifically analyzing its feasibility, material performance, cost implications, and logistical advantages. Methodology: A qualitative-empirical approach was used, combining material performance testing, expert interviews, and operational case studies to evaluate mechanical durability, economic feasibility, and AM integration challenges. Results: Findings indicate that AM reduces repair downtime by 40%, lowers part procurement costs by 30–50%, and enhances supply chain resilience. However, material limitations and infrastructure readiness remain key adoption challenges. Conclusions: Hybrid AM adoption—where 3D printing supplements rather than replaces traditional manufacturing—offers the most practical near-term approach for naval fleets. Strategic investment in material research, onboard AM training, and fabrication infrastructure will enhance fleet efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and future-proof maritime maintenance strategies.

Abstract

Film is one of the mass communication media that has a significant power in delivering messages to audiences. As a form of art and entertainment, film not only serves as a means of recreation but also as a tool for conveying values, ideologies, and social criticism to society. This study aims to analyze the representation of women's power in the film Jangan Salahkan Aku using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The analysis is conducted using the concept of lexia and Barthes' five reading codes, namely the hermeneutic, proairetic, symbolic, cultural, and semic codes. The findings indicate that women's power in this film is represented through narrative and visual elements that emphasize women's positions in power relations, both in domestic and social spheres. This study contributes to understanding how cinema constructs and reflects the representation of women's power through a complex system of signs.

Abstract

The importance of fishing boat maintenance cannot be underestimated. A well-maintained vessel not only increases efficiency in fishing operations, but also minimizes the risk of accidents at sea. Ship maintenance covers various aspects, from regular engine inspections, repairing damaged hulls, to ensuring that all safety equipment is in good condition. The purpose of this study is to increase the awareness and understanding of fishermen in East Sapa Village regarding the importance of ship maintenance and life safety at sea. This research method uses a qualitative method with a short description of the analysis. The results of this study show that although the fishermen of East Sapa Village have a basic awareness of the importance of boat maintenance and safety at sea, they face a variety of significant challenges, including limited resources, limited technical knowledge, and lack of relevant training. Financial and material constraints hinder the implementation of thorough ship maintenance, while a varied understanding of safety indicates the need for more in-depth education. Strong community cooperation and greater government support, including the provision of resources and training programs, are essential to address these issues and improve the well-being and safety of fishermen.

Abstract

The process of issuing a Grosse Akta (Grosse Deed) at the Parepare Class III Harbormaster and Port Authority Office is crucial for ensuring the legality of fishing vessels operating in the region. However, several obstacles often arise, slowing the process and increasing the administrative burden on fishermen. One major obstacle is incomplete documentation, which hinders the smooth running of the administrative process. Many fishermen do not fully understand the required documents and administrative procedures. This results in longer processing times for issuing a Grosse Akta. Technical issues also contribute to a hindering process, particularly those related to systems that are not yet well integrated. The continued use of manual recording in some parts of the process often leads to errors or inaccuracies in vessel data processing. Furthermore, a shortage of trained experts in handling administrative documents also contributes to the delay in completion times. To address these obstacles, this study suggests several strategic steps that can be taken to improve the efficiency of issuing a Grosse Akta. A comprehensive and easily understood guide for fishermen will assist them in properly preparing the required documentation. Simplifying the document format can also speed up the process, while improving consultation and help desk services will provide faster assistance to fishermen experiencing difficulties. Furthermore, digitizing the document management system will speed up workflows and reduce reliance on error-prone manual record-keeping. These steps are expected to improve the efficiency of the Grosse Akta publication process and provide better service to fishermen. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that the Grosse Akta publication process will be more transparent and easily accessible to all fishermen.

Abstract

Risks of transportation safety are still a common issue in Indonesia. Communities living in coastal and marine areas, the majority of whom work as fishermen, still rely on traditional knowledge and skills. Wawontulap Village is located in the Tatapaan District with a total of 80 active fishermen, most of whom use small-scale traditional fishing boats with 50 cc to 80 cc motor engines and without adequate navigation tools, thus impacting visibility for ship maneuvers. fisherman. The position and potential for catching larger fish at night is a challenge for the fishing community in Wawontulap Village. This is because at night many fishing or fishing boats with larger sizes also descend into the sea which can cause a collision hazard between ships. The problem of navigation tools in the form of navigation lights is deemed necessary to find a solution immediately. Navigation lights on board apart from functioning as navigation guides can also be used as lighting and communication tools in the form of light signals if fishermen need help at any time. the method of socialization and delivery of assistance in the form of 3 (three) navigation lights which were handed over symbolically to village officials (the old law). From this community service activity it shows that fishermen's knowledge of the importance of navigation lights becomes clear and the danger of ship collisions when fishermen go outside to catch fish can be avoided.
