Abstract

UKM Murni Snack adalah UKM di Kabupaten Sukoharjo Jawa Tengah yang bergerak di bidang makanan ringan. UKM ini kurang memiliki daya saing, karena kondisi dari tahun ke tahun relatif sama. Padahal persaingan usaha makanan, semakin hari semakin ketat. UKM ini memiliki permasalahan antara lain label kemasan yang masih sederhana, kemasan produk masih biasa, dan keadaan UKM belum bisa berkembang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu sosialisasi kegiatan; introduksi label, kemasan dan hand sealer; pelatihan kewirausahaan serta kegiatan pendampingan. Tim pengabdi melakukan kegiatan yang terdiri dari perbaikan label kemasan, mengintroduksikan jenis kemasan yang bersifat marketable dengan menggunakan kemasan standing pouch, mengintroduksikan alat berupa hand sealer, dan kegiatan pelatihan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sudah dapat memberikan perbaikan kondisi UKM, pengetahuan UKM meningkat dan pemasaran menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi saluran pemasaran, marjin pemasaran dan farmer’s share beras organik di Kabupaten Boyolali. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) di Kecamatan Sawit dan Kecamatan Banyudono. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode diskriptif analitif. Analisis data menggunakan  analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif (marjin pemasaran dan farmer’s share). Total  responden 30 petani produsen, 2 pedagang pengumpul desa, 5 penggilingan desa dan 1 pedagang pengecer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada 4 tipe saluran pemasaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata produsen beras organik di Kabupaten Boyolali melewati satu lembaga pemasaran saja (penggilingan padi). Hasil pertanian padi organik di Kabupaten Boyolali belum sepenuhnya diserap sebagai produk organik. Penyerapan hasil produksi organik di Kabupaten Boyolali sebagai produk organik hanya ada 37% dari keseluruhan responden produsen. Penjualan beras organik diperlakukan sama seperti beras biasa sebesar 63%. Marjin pemasaran terbesar pada saluran pemasaran I yaitu sebesar Rp 8.500,00 dan terendah pada saluran pemasaran IV yaitu Rp 5.375,00. Nilai farmer’s share tertinggi 57% dan terendah sebesar 37%.Kata kunci : saluran pemasaran; beras organik

Abstract

This research aims to (1) knowing the defects of the edel cocoa beans (2) knowing the defects of the edel cocoa beans in the Banjarsari garden were still within the control limit or not (3) knowing the dominant defects, and (4) analyzing the causes and proposed actions to improve the defects of the edel cocoa beans in PTPN XII (Persero) Kebun Banjarsari. The basic method of research is descriptive analytical. The method of determining key informants and respondents was carried out by purposive sampling. The results showed that (1) The defects of the edel cocoa beans consisted of 2753.2 kg of prongkol beans, 2143.2 kg of broken beans, 1898.47 kg of black skin seeds, 1667.34 kg of cocoa beans, moldy seeds (moldy) as much as 34.193 kg, and insect seeds as much as 0.69 kg. (2) Chart analysis found that the quality tolerance limits of edel cocoa beans varied for 5 years, Deviation of defects in edel cocoa occurred in the 9th month (September 2015) and the 53rd month (August 2019). (3) Pareto diagram analysis, the dominant defects in edel cocoa beans are prongkol, crushed beans and black skin beans. (4) The Fishbone diagram identifies the factors that cause edel cocoa bean defects are method, human, material, environment. Proposed remedial action for each of the factors must be implemented immediately to overcome the dominant damage problem. The recommendation given is to hold routine training at least once a month, the company to take alternative actions by planting diversified cover crops, improving cleanliness regularly, performing sanitation and cleaning weeds around the garden area.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang kaya akan sumber daya alam dan perekonomiannya bergantung pada sektor pertanian sehingga dikenal sebagai negara agraris. Agraris adalah kondisi dimana sebagian besar mata pencaharian penduduk suatu negara adalah bertani. Industri buah mangga adalah salah satu industri yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan dalam sektor perkebunan. Hasil IFE menunjukkan terdapat 3 aspek kekuatan, 3 aspek kelemahan dan hasil EFE terdapat 3 aspek peluang dan 3 aspek ancaman. Matriks SWOT digunakan untuk penentuan alternatif strategi dan Matriks grand strategy merupakan alat analisis yang digunakan untuk merumuskan kuadran pada suatu alternatif strategi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari Matriks grand strategy menunjukan posisi koordinat pada kuadran I (satu). Sumbu horizontal (X) menunjukkan pada posisi 2.04, sedangkan sumbu vertikal (Y) pada posisi 0.51. Kuadran I merupakan kuadran yang menerapkan strategi S-O. Kuadran I S-O menunjukkan beberapa strategi yang dapat diterapkan, yaitu 1) diversifikasi produk mangga untuk meningkatkan daya saing, 2) Pengembangan pasar melalui ekspansi 3) Penetrasi pasar secara online dan offline.

Abstract

Increasing public awareness of the importance of fulfilling nutrition and vitamins has resulted in people consuming fruit more massively. One popular fruit is siam citrus because it tends to taste sweet and is readily available on the market, including in Surakarta City. Surakarta City is a potential market for siam citrus because the public consumption of the fruit increases yearly. In contrast, public consumption of siam citrus fluctuates from year to year. The fluctuating level of public consumption means that the demand for siam citrus is also uncertain. Considering this, it is imperative to understand the variables influencing Surakarta City's demand for siam citrus. One hundred respondents who purchased siam citrus from "Pasar Legi, Pasar Gede, Pasar Kadipolo, Pasar Gading, and Pasar Harjodaksino" provided the primary data for this study. The demand function was converted into a multiple linear regression function for data analysis. The analysis's findings indicate that the variables of siam citrus price, mandarin orange price, apple price, mango price, family earnings, number of family members, and taste all affect the siam citrus demand in Surakarta City. The variable price of siam citrus, mandarin orange price, mango price, family earnings, and tastes partially significantly affected the siam citrus demand. Therefore, the demand for siam citrus in Surakarta City was not considerably impacted by the apple price and the number of family members. Taste is the most critical factor influencing the demand for siam citrus.

Abstract

This community service activities aim to introduce continuous band sealer machine technology to improve the quality of butterfly pea flower tea product packaging from Idako Sukses Mandiri MSMEs. The implementation of this community service uses participatory and mentoring methods. Activities are evaluated using before-after evaluation and descriptive analysis. The results of the service show that the Continous Band Sealer Machine has a positive impact on business sustainability. The Continous Band Sealer Machine can overcome the problems of MSMEs with limited production equipment in terms of packaging. Idako Sukses Mandiri MSMEs can use the machine well, and they will be more experienced and skilled. The positive impact can be seen from the quality of the packaging sealing; the sealing time becomes faster with a large amount, so the time used becomes efficient.
