Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to understand the description of social studies learning discipline and strategies for creating social studies learning discipline in the school environment. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, observations and conclusions. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by reduction, interpretation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that in implementing social studies discipline learning strategies at SDN 1 Tonroge Sidrap, what is effective is not only about providing knowledge, but also creating learning experiences that are motivating and relevant for children. With a creative and engaging approach, we can help form a solid foundation for students' understanding and interest in Social Sciences

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the integrative thematic learning process for fifth grade students. The method used in this study is qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation and analyzed based on reduction diagrams, interpretation and conclusion. Research results at the learning planning stage, some lesson plans have used thematic lesson plans, but there are some subject matter that have not used thematic lesson plans. At the small part of the learning implementation stage, the delivery of material has not used thematic learning models, as seen in the delivery of material still based on subjects. Most of them already use thematic learning models. Furthermore, at the assessment stage, the thematic assessment model has not been used. The assessment of learning outcomes carried out by all teachers is in the form of a written test which is still carried out based on the subject. The obstacles to the application of thematic learning, namely the lack of socialization regarding thematic learning and the limitations of adequate teaching aids, so that it is less than optimal in concrete learning

Abstract

Data menunjukkan bahwa hasil kemampuan numerasi siswa-siswi di Indonesia masih tergolong kurang jika dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain. Hasil penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa di sekolah dasar belum maksimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan LKPD etnomatematika berbasis PBL terhadap kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy siswa di sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan quasi experiment design, yaitu dua kelompok (eksperimen dan kontrol) dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi soal tes kemampuan numerasi dan angket self efficacy. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan diperolehnya nilai rata-rata kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Kemudian hasil dari uji Independent Sample T-Test didapatkan nilai signifikansi t-test kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Selanjutnya terdapat peningkatan kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy pada kelas eksperimen dengan diperolehnya indeks N-Gain termasuk pada kategori peningkatan sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD etnomatematika berbasis PBL berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan numerasi dan self efficacy siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Numerical ability is also the ability to use various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics to solve everyday life problems, the ability to analyze information that is displayed in various forms (graphs, tables, charts, etc.). Unfortunately, reality shows that students' numeracy skills are not maximized. Based on the results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) for Indonesia, mathematics scores are below average. According to Kompas.com, the average PISA score of OECD (The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) members has continued to decline over the last three years. Indonesia is ranked 74th out of 79 countries, while for the assessment of mathematical ability and scientific ability, Indonesia is ranked 73rd and 71st of the 79 participating countries. It was also found that the gender gap in performance inequality in learning performance between women and men is not large. Female students outperformed male students in all areas of PISA. This research is a descriptive research. To find out students' numeracy skills by using AKM questions. The research subjects were students at SDN Talabiu upper class (grade 4,5,6) as many as 36 people. Based on the research that has been done, based on the percentage of the results of the problem solving which is then adjusted to the category, the numeracy ability of female students is in the high category of 18%, while male students are 12.5%. This shows that the numeracy skills of female students are better than male students.

Abstract

The study aimed at examining (1) the extend of the improvement of students’ learning motivation through the use of internet learning sources on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ); (2) whether the use of learning sources through internet obtain positive response from the students on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ); and (3) the effectiveness of the used of learning sources through internet at SMKN 1 in Bima on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ). The study was a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles that each of the cycle was conducted in three sessions. The results of the study revealed that (1) Students’ learning motivation was improved in utilizing learning sources through internet on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ); (2) the utilization of learning sources through internet on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) obtained positive response from the students; and (3) based on the result of learning outcomes which was improved on vocational competencies lesson of Computer Network Engineering (TKJ), it was confirmed that the utilization of learning sources through internet was effective to be in grade X of TKJ 2 at SMKN 1 in Bima ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa melalui pemanfaatan sumber belajar internet pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ; (2) untuk mengetahui respon positif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan sumber belajar melalui internet pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ; dan (3) untuk mengetahui efektifitas pemanfaatan sumber belajar melalui internet terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa di SMKN 1 Bima pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan selama tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) motivasi belajar siswa meningkat dalam memanfaatkan sumber belajar melalui internet pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ, (2) Pemanfaatan sumber belajar melalui internet pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ mendapat respon positif dari siswa, dan (3) berdasarkan nilai hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat 90% pada mata pelajaran kompetensi kejuruan TKJ, maka pemanfaatan sumber belajar melalui internet efektif digunakan di kelas X TKJ 2 SMKN 1 Bima.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 2 Dena through the application of Counting Board Media. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection. The subjects were 26 second-grade students, comprising 16 boys and 10 girls. Data were collected using observation sheets for teaching and learning activities and evaluation tests at the end of each cycle. Success indicators were set at a learning mastery of ≥80% and student learning activities categorized at least as active. The results showed that in Cycle I, the average student score was 84 with a mastery percentage of 78.94%, and student activity was categorized as active with scores of 70 and 75 in the first and second meetings, respectively. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 88.68 with a mastery percentage of 89.47%, and student learning activity reached the very active category with scores of 85 in both meetings. In conclusion, the application of Counting Board Media is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of second-grade students at SDN 2 Dena in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan alat peraga papan perkalian terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II SDN Inpres 02 Risa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes berupa soal cerita berbentuk essay yang berjumlah 10 soal. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Inpres 02 Risa yang berjumlah 18 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji Wilcoxon, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Asymp sig sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga keputusan hipotesisnya adalah diterima dan ditolak. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 45 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,44, dan didukung oleh hasil rata-rata nilai N-Gain dari pretest ke posttest yaitu sebesar 0.6476 berada pada kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga papan perkalian berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berhitung siswa kelas II SDN Inpres 02 Risa.
