Abstract

Dengan adanya suatu kebijakan baru yang dibawa dan dipaksa oleh keadaan pandemi covid-19 ini, akan menimbulkan sejumlah masalah-masalah baru. Contohnya seperti malasnya mahasiswa/i perguruan tinggi dan siswa/i sekolah dalam belajar dirumah selama beberapa bulan yang membuat mereka bosan dan kurang perhatian terhadap pelajaran. Ditambah lagi dengan kurangnya kegiatan edukasi dan sosialisasi tentang pancasila dan teknologi disaat pandemi covid-19 ini, yang mengakibatkan sejumlah masalah tumbuh.tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adala mempersiapkan generasi muda indonesia yang pancasilais, mempersiapkan generasi yang mampu menguasai teknologi yang ada pada era sekarang dan menumbuhkan sikap aktif, kritis, dan solusi di masa pandemic covid-19

Abstract

Purpose - Previous researches generally examined the performances of employee, nurse, lecturer and police officer while only a few of them examined tax bailiff's performance. Therefore the purpose of this research is to determine, analyze and obtain empirical evidence on the effect of job characteristics, job demands, and compensation on tax bailiffs’ performance. Methodology - This is a quantitative research with data collected from 130 tax bailiffs in 63 Tax Offices in Indonesia through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model SMART PLS 3.0. Findings - The results showed that job characteristics and compensation significantly positively affect work engagement. Job characteristics, job demands, and work engagement have a significant positive effect on performance. Meanwhile, job demands insignificantly affect work engagement, and compensation insignificantly affect performance. Originality - This research examined tax bailiffs’ performance which has a broad and significant impact on the achievement of state revenues. It contributes to understanding the relationship between job characteristics, job demands, and compensation on tax bailiffs' performance.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of organizational transformation on performance with motivation and compensation as mediating variables in the project management office (“PMO”) personnel of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. (“PGN”) by using a quantitative descriptive approach. The data in this study were obtained from PMO organic employees who work at PGN. The total population of PMO organic employees at the time the research was conducted was 118 (one hundred and eighteen) people. While the samples taken in this study were organic employees with positions ranging from 'Staff' to 'Vice President'. The data analysis in this study used an alternative method of structural equation modeling (SEM), namely partial least squares (PLS). The first stage in this research is to test the validity of each variable's statement indicator along with their reliability. The second stage examines the relationship between the existing hypotheses for both direct effects and indirect effects between research variables. The results of this study indicate that PGN’s organizational transformation has a significant effect on PMO employee performance, either through motivation or compensation as mediation or without the mediation.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought negative effects to the workforce, especially Gen Z. In Vietnam, this is a new generation and has not had much experience. Therefore, there have been certain studies around Gen Z and Covid-19. One of the topics studied by the researcher was Gen Z's work motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted to find out what elements can drive Gen Z's work motivation through Job Satisfaction. Through the description of quantitative research methods and using Smart PLS 3.3.3 for analysis. The number of survey participants is 200 people living in Hanoi. Based on collected data, the factors Salary, Promotion, Work Freedom, Friendly Environment, and Training have an effect on job satisfaction. Last but not least, Satisfaction has had a significant effect on Gen Z's motivation to work in Hanoi during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The presence of lecturers and students is one factor that influences the quality of teaching and learning activities. Processing information on the company of lecturers and students manually by providing information on the presence of student lecturers in the attendance book. To overcome this problem, this Belitian pen automatically processes lecturer and student information on the presence of lecturers and students by using an SMS Gateway. In general, incoming Short Message Service will be read because of the nature of cellphones, which are private property, and psychologically, someone wants always to be considered necessary. So whatever type of Short Message Service comes in, that person will open and read it. Messages can be conveyed quickly and more effectively without leaflets or notices that are not necessarily read. In addition to sending messages between cell phone users, the Short Message Service is suitable for interacting with a computer-based information system. To obtain accurate data in every job, where the technology is increasingly modern, from the analysis, the researchers carried out the Student Attendance Information System in a system that can increase work efficiency and effectiveness. This research has stages as follows analyzing the needs of lecturers, academics, and students, developing system designs and SMS codes, designing databases, creating systems, testing systems, and determining whether the system is accepted and implemented on campus. This research results from an information system based on SMS Gateway, including student attendance, where the system automatically sends SMS to parents.

Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak has forced employees to work from home as one of the government's actions to minimize the spread of the coronavirus. However, for some employees, implementing WFH is a challenge for them. In this study, there are Teleworking, Work Stress, Workload, and Work-Life Balance as variables to be examined because researchers want to know the influence of Teleworking on Work-Life Balance, Work Stress on Work-Life Balance, and Workload on Work-Life. Balance, as well as the simultaneous influence of Teleworking, Work Stress, and Workload on Work-Life Balance. The method used in this study is quantitative and statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS 28.1. Data from 179 workers in the South Jakarta area who had or are currently working from home were obtained through questionnaires. The results show that all variables have a significant influence on work-life balance. So, it is important to maintain the work-life balance of all workers and influencing factors for the benefit of all parties. Keywords: teleworking, work stress, workload, work-life balance

Abstract

Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pengelolaan Lembaga bertujuan diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan baru bagi peserta. Adapun Metode Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dalam bentuk pelatihan/workshop dengan tema “Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pengelolaan Lembaga” dilaksanakan pada hari Senin sampai dengan hari Rabu, tanggal 06-08 Maret 2023. Kegiatan workshop dilaksanakan mulai pukul 08.00–16.30 WITA di ruang serbaguna Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Karawang. Adapun Hasil yang diharpakan Pengakuan terhadap pentingnya strategi kepemimpinan dalam organisasi telah menjadi dasar utama dalam menganalisis peran dan fungsinya dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja bawahannya. Sedangkan kualitas kinerja adalah standart kinerja (pokok) yang telah disepakati bersama dalam sebuah organisasi (SOP).

Abstract

Job stress is an issue for Indonesian Gen Z to thrive in the workplace. This study aimed to examine job stress using the JD-R model. Job insecurity, workload, and work environment were used as independent variables. The research was conducted using quantitative research. 207 responses from Indonesian Gen Z employees working in startup/digital companies in Jakarta was gathered using questionnaire and statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 26. This research found that all variables have partial and simultaneous impact towards job stress. This seeks for companies to practice transparency and feedback with employees about the job future, workload, and work environment, as well as building a company culture that encourages employee growth. Keywords: gen Z, JD-R model, job insecurity, job stress, workload, work environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership supervision, SOP compliance and work environment on employee safety with work discipline as an intervening variable. The independent variables of this research are leadership supervision, SOP compliance, and work environment. The intervening variable is work discipline and the dependent variable is work safety. The data used in this study were sourced from the perceptions of employees of PT. Mainstay Agro. The sampling technique used in this research is using random sampling method. To determine the sample size, the Solvin formula is used and so that the obtained sample size of 205 employees. To answer the research objectives, an analytical method is used, namely SEM PLS. The results of the study showed that leadership supervision, SOP compliance, work environment, and work discipline had a significant effect on work safety. In addition, this study also proves that leadership supervision, SOP compliance, and work environment have a significant effect on work discipline, so that the indirect effect test concludes that work discipline is able to mediate the influence of leadership supervision, SOP compliance, and work environment on work safety.Key words: Leadership Supervision, SOP Compliance, Work Environment, Work Discipline, Employee Safety
