<![CDATA[The background of this research is the low discipline of students during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. Allegedly caused by the lack of parental guidance for children when studying from home, this study aims to: 1) describe parental guidance; 2) describe student learning discipline; 3) see the relationship between parental guidance and student learning discipline during the covid 19 pandemic.This research is a quantitative correlational study. The population in this study were all students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang in class X and class XI, which amounted to 521 students and 78 students were used as research samples using stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and the product moment correlation formula.The results of this study indicate: 1) parental guidance is categorized as low dominant 2) student discipline is categorized as low; 3) there is a significant relationship between parental guidance and student learning discipline during the covid 19 pandemic at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School. The research suggestions are: 1) it is hoped that formal school educators will pay more attention to student learning activities while online 2) it is expected that parents can guide their children in studying at home so that children can obtain maximum learning outcomes; and 3) it is hoped that further researchers will find or examine other variables that affect learning discipline, especially when studying from home.Keywords: Parental Guidance, Tutoring]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low of early age children who have not been able to control their emotions in PAUD Puti Bungsu SKB 1 Tanah Datar. This is allegedly due to the lack of parenting provided by parents to their children. The purpose of this study are: (1) describes parenting by the parents to early childhood, (2) describes the emotional intelligence of early childhood, and (3) how the relationship between parenting by parents with early emotional intelligence in early childhood PAUD Puti Bungsu SKB I Tanah Datar. The type of this research is descriptive correlation, population in research amount to 30 people. Samples were taken as much as 80% with the number of samples is 24 people. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage and Product Moment. The results of the study found that (1) the parenting of the children is still poor, (2) the early childhood emotional intelligence in early childhood PAUD Puti Bungsu SKB I Tanah Datar still looks very low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between parenting with the emotional intelligence of children in paud the youngest son of SKB I Tanah Datar.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the activity of learning package B Indonesian language subjects get high score. This is thought to have something to do with the participatory learning strategy used by tutors. This study aims to describe participatory learning strategies by tutors in B package program of Indonesian subjects which include: (1) planning of learning activities, (2) implementation of learning activities, (3) evaluation of learning activities. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. This study did not conduct sampling, therefore the entire population was made a respondent. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires, while data collection tools use questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. Suggestions for this research, so that participative learning strategies can be improved again by tutors in learning Indonesian and other learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is based on the low learning outcomes of the study participants Paket B in PKBM Sakido Nagari Koto Alam District Pangkalan Lima Puluh Kota, this is allegedly due to interpersonal communication tutor. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the interpersonal communication of tutor, (2) to describe the learning result of the learning community, and (3) to see the correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learning result of the studying citizen. This study includes correlational quantitative research. The population in this study is the residents learn Paket B Class VIII. Data collection techniques with questionnaires arranged in the form of statement sheets. Technique of data analysis using formula of percentage and product moment correlation formula. The result of the research shows that (1) the interpersonal communication of the tutor is still not good, (2) the learning result of the VIII Grade Students in PKBM Sakido is low, and (3) there is a very significant correlation between the interpersonal communication of the tutor and the learners' learning result.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya intensitas bermain game online pada anak usia sekolah dasar dan rendahnya perhatian orang tua terhadap anaknya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara perhatian orang tua dengan intensitas bermain game online pada anak usia sekolah dasar di Asrama TNI-AD Parak Pisang Kota Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan tipe korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 35 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel survei dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel untuk penelitian ini berjumlah 25 orang. Metode dan alat pengumpulan data berupa angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase dan Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perhatian orang tua dengan intensitas bermain game online pada anak usia sekolah dasar di Asrama TNI-AD Parak Pisang Kota Padang. Saran dalam penelitian ini diharapkan kepada orang tua untuk lebih memperhatikan anaknya, agar anak lebih fokus untuk melakukan hal-hal yang positif.]]>

<![CDATA[The research was distributed by implementation of training practices attended by trainess at UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja. The purpose of this research to know : (1) description of implementation of culinary training in opening activities, (2) description of implementation of culinary training in the main activities, (3) description of implementation of culinary training in closing activities. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive type. This research was carried at UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Kabupaten Sjijunjung. The population in this study were 20 people, the entire population in this study became respondents. Techniques with data collection tools are using questionnaires and analysis of percentage calculation data. The results of this study indicate that (1) implementation of cooking practies in the opening activities is good, (2) implementation of cooking practies in the main activities is good,(3) implementation of cooking practies in the closing activities is good. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of culinary practices has been good. Suggestions for this study training participants to be able to increase knowledge, skills and instructors are able to deliver material to tarinees.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the good implementation of Sociology learning. This was presumably because of cooperative learning approaches used in learning. This study aimed to: (1) describe the implementation of the initial activities in Sociology learning through a cooperative learning approach, (2) describe the implementation of core activities in Sociology learning through cooperative learning approaches, and (3) describe the implementation of evaluations in Sociology learning through cooperative learning approaches. This research includes descriptive quantitative research. The populations in this study were 30 people. The sampling technique was simple random sampling with the sample of 20 people. The technique and data collection were questionnaires with statement questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used percentages. The results show that: (1) the implementation of the initial activities in Sociology learning through cooperative learning approach is good, (2) the implementation of core activities in Sociology learning through cooperative learning approach is good, and (3) the implementation of initial activities in Sociology learning through cooperative approach learning is good. The suggestion of this study is to tutor Package C Sociology subject in order to further improve the implementation of sociology learning with cooperative learning approaches so as to further enhance the learning spirit and learning outcomes of the citizens.]]>

<![CDATA[The research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students who were suspected of having a relationship with participating in the PIK-R organization at State High School 3 Padang Panjang. The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) To describe the activity of students in the PIK-R organization at the State Senior High School 3 Padang Panjang. (2) To see an overview of the learning outcomes obtained by the students of the State Senior High School 3 Padang Panjang. (3) To find out the relationship between the activeness of the PIK-R organization and its learning outcomes at State Senior High School 3 Padang Panjang.This type of research is quantitative with a correlational approach. The aim is to examine the correlation between PIK-R's organizational activity and learning outcomes. The population of this study was 36 people, the sampling technique was Stratifide Random Sampling and taken as many as 70%, namely as many as 26 people. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire and using the Rank Order formula.The results and discussion of this study are as follows: (1) The description of the organizational activity of PIK-R students at the State High School 3 Padang Panjang is categorized as low. (2) The description of student learning outcomes of State Senior High School 3 Padang Panjang is categorized as medium. <![CDATA[The research is the low learning outcomes of students in economics at SPNF SKB Solok City. This condition is believed to be due to the low self-concept of students. This study has the objectives to: 1) see a description of the students' self-concept in the economic learning package C program at SPNF SKB Solok City, 2) see a description of their learning outcomes in the economic learning package C program at SPNF SKB Solok City 3) see the relationship between self-concept students with their learning outcomes in economic subjects Package C Equivalence Program at SPNF SKB Solok City. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach of correlation type which aims to examine the relationship between self-concept and learning outcomes. The research population is all students registered in Package C 2021 at SPNF SKB Solok City as many as 31 people, the sampling technique is stratified random sampling and taken as many as 80%, namely as many as 25 people. The data collection method used a questionnaire with a statement list format as a data collection tool, the data were analyzed using the percentage formula and to find the correlation using the Spearmen Rho formula. The results of the study prove that 1) the description of the self-concept of students in the economic subject of the Package C Equivalence Program at SPNF SKB Solok City which is still relatively low 2) the learning outcomes of students in economic learning are low, and 3) there is a significant relationship between self-concept of students with student learning outcomes in economic subjects Package C Equivalence Program at SPNF SKB Solok City. It is hoped that tutors can develop a positive self-concept for students who take part in the economics subject of the Package C Equivalence Program, the next researcher to examine other variables that can improve the learning outcomes of equivalence education]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the low interest in reading in TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City. This is thought to be caused by the lack of availability of reading materials based on the needs of children at TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City. The objectives of this study are 1) to see the description of the availability of reading materials based on the needs of children in TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City. 2) to see a picture of the reading interest of the residents studying at TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City. 3) to see the relationship between the availability of reading materials based on children's needs and their reading interest in TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City.This research is a quantitative research with correlational type which aims to examine the correlation between the availability of reading materials and reading interest. The population in this study were 28 people, the sampling technique was cluster random sampling and taken as many as 60%, namely 17 people. Techniques in data collection using questionnaires and data collection tools in the form of a list of statements. The data analysis technique used the percentage formula and the rho sperm formula.The results of this study indicate that: 1) the description of the availability of reading materials based on the needs of children in TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang Padang City is categorized as incomplete. 2) the description of children's reading interest in TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang Padang City is categorized as low. 3) there is a significant relationship between the availability of reading materials based on children's needs and their reading interest at TBM Kaba Cambodia Batipuh Panjang, Padang City.
