Abstract

Latar Belakang. Bagi mahasiswa di program studi pendidikan IPA wajib untuk mengetahui serta membudayakan K3 karena mahasiswa ini yang nantinya diharapkan akan menjadi pendidik (guru maupun laboran) yang baik di pendidikan tingkat pertama, pekerja yang baik dibidang industri, maupun menjadi ilmuwan. Tujuan. Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) di laboratorium IPA Metode. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan Kesehatan dan Keselematan Kerja (K3) menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di STKIP Citra Bakti, Flores, NTT. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA yang telah melaksanakan mata kuliah praktikum kimia dasar yang berjumlah 64 orang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA tingkat I, II dan III di STKIP Citra Bakti yang berjumlah 45 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan (kognitif) sampel penelitian yaitu menggunakan tes dan non-tes. Tes yaitu dilakukan secara tertulis yang menggunakan soal objektif dengan pilihan berganda (lima pilihan). Non-tes yaitu dilakukan dengan cara wawancara yang terstruktur. Hasil. Standar (kompetensi) K3 (yaitu menentukan pengelolaan dan penanganan zat kimia berbahaya) memiliki 3 (tiga) indikator serta 21 indikator soal, sehingga standar K3 memiliki 21 nomor item soal objektif dengan pilihan berganda (lima pilihan) yang diberikan kepada 45 mahasiswa pendidikan IPA STKIP Citra Bakti tahun 2022, dan menghasilkan data mengenai tingkat pengetahuan K3 mahasiswa pendidikan IPA (rata-rata) berada pada kualitas kurang yaitu sebesar 37%. Simpulan. Secara umum tingkat pengetahuan K3 mahasiswa pendidikan IPA di laboratorium berada pada kualitas kurang, yaitu sebesar 37 %. Temuan dari penelitian tersebut dikarenakan adanya faktor; tidak adanya motivasi (dari dalam peserta didik), keterbatasan sarana-prasarana di laboratorium (dari luar peserta didik), serta dari tidak adanya kurikulum pembelajaran yang tertulis secara langsung (mengenai K3).

Abstract

The research aims to determine: 1) The average learning outcomes of the control class; 2) Average experimental class learning outcomes; 3) The difference in the average learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class. Experimental research method, with a quasi experiment with a one group pre-test and post-test design. Sampling used purposive sampling. Data collection techniques and tools use measurement techniques in the form of learning outcomes tests. Data analysis uses descriptive and inferential analysis. The research results show: 1) The average learning outcome for the control class is 72.93 in the good category. 2) The average learning result for the experimental class was 79.87 in the very good category. 3) The difference in the average learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class using the t-test statistical test, namely Separated Variance, obtained tcount = 5.932 and ttable = 2.064 with a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class.

Abstract

Students at St. Agustinus Langa who lack scientific literacy are less able to react to local natural events and technological advancements. The purpose of this study is to describe the procedures used to create science learning resources based on scientific literacy using series and parallel series materials. This study employs the five stages of the ADDIE model—analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation—as a research and development (R&D) methodology. SMP St. Augustine Langa's class VIII students served as the research subjects. The study's findings demonstrate that using scientific literacy-based science learning materials in series and parallel series content can improve students' comprehension of the subject matter. The educational materials according to the research findings, St. Mary's Middle School students' understanding of scientific literacy has increased as a result of the creation of science learning materials based on scientific literacy in series and parallel circuit content. Langa, Augustine. Therefore, science learning media based on scientific literacy is appropriate for use in the science learning process. The implications of learning media created in the teaching and learning process include helping teachers explain learning material, improving the quality of the teaching and learning process in this case, and creating a pleasant learning atmosphere with the teaching and learning.

Abstract

The lack of learning media that enables students to learn makes it challenging to understand the learning material. This research aims to describe the design process of solar system multimedia products and determine the validation results of solar system multimedia products according to the results of expert reviews and individual trials. This development research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) method. Data collection uses a questionnaire method. The research results show that the learning media developed has a very feasible category, with the results of student responses being very feasible with an overall average percentage of 95% and the results of teacher responses getting a percentage of 89.3% with a very feasible category. This demonstrates how well-suited the learning resources created for the solar system are for use as classroom instruction. According to the research, learning materials could be a solution for creating science learning materials that improve and ease students' comprehension, particularly regarding solar system content.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills in Indonesia are currently still quite low and still need to be improved in order to achieve national education goals, namely to make the nation's life smarter. One of the efforts being made to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills is through the current government program, namely the campus teaching program. Student service at school for approximately 6 months aims to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students at St. Agustinus Langa through the implementation of the Independent Campus Learning Program. Through a naturalistic qualitative approach, data is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the level of literacy and numeracy is still low at St. technology. The importance of literacy and numeracy is not only limited to Mathematics and Science subjects but includes other aspects that enable students to analyze information, make predictions, design experiments or experiments and make decisions.
