The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach and presents problems that occur in the field by analyzing the Strategy of the Paluta Regency Tourism Office in the Publication of Barumun Nagari Tourism Objects. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation with Dramaturgy theory. The results of research at the Department of Culture and Tourism of North Padang Lawas Regency obtained that the strategy carried out in the publication of Barumun Nagari. indeed must pay attention to several aspects, among others, by implementing the goals and objectives, programs, and policies that will be made.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Representation of Ghibah in TILIK Film (Short Movie 2018)”. The purpose of this research is to find out how the representation of Ghibah in the TILIK film (Short Movie 2018). The theory used in this research is Representation Theory. The object of this research is the film TILIK. This research uses a two-stage Roland Barthes semiotic analysis method in which researchers can better understand the meaning of denotation, the connotation obtained in the TILIK film, with visuals as a representation of the dialogue which is the marker in this research. The researcher explained the data analysis with visual as a signifier and audio as a marker then explained the meaning of denotation and connotation. The results of this research describe the social reality that often occurs and is carried out by the community, namely backbiting or gossip other people or Ghibah.

Abstract

This research was motivated by a topic regarding interpersonal communication patterns in polygamous families in Sibargot Village, Padang Rapuan Hamlet, West Bilah District, Labuhan Batu Regency. The reason for the formation of this research explains, analyzes or details the elements of communication carried out by husband couples with one wife and the other wife, the series of communications between wives, the forms of interaction between children, and the communication barriers faced by polygamous families in Sibargot Village, Padang Rapuan Hamlet. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis, namely observing and interpreting data found through documents, interviews and observations. The data obtained is first checked for accuracy through data testing techniques. As for analyzing data by selecting, displaying and making conclusions. The results of this research show that the series of communications carried out by husbands to each of their wives does not have a specific communication pattern that occurs in their family, but each family has its own method of managing its two wives. The husband's communication policy is one-way. Then, the two wives used a form of balanced communication interaction between their wives. Things that hinder communication are caused by the lack of time to meet and interact between wives and husbands, resulting in the difficulty of creating a conducive atmosphere in resolving problems which results in many bad perceptions.

Abstract

Skripsi ini mendeskripsikan pada keterlibatan serta peran dari Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) Kota Medan dalam penyelesaian dinamika konflik peribadatan di Suzuya Marelan. Konflik peribadatan dan izin pembangunan rumah ibadah masih kerap terjadi terutama kota besar seperti Kota Medan. Konflik yang terjadi di Kecamatan Medan Marelan tepatnya di sekitaran Suzuya Marelan ini merupakan konflik agama antara kaum mayoritas Islam dengan kaum minotitas Kristen. Mengingat tepatnya di Kelurahan Tanah Enam Ratus yang merupakan titik berdirinya Suzuya Marelan mayoritas nya adalah pemeluk agama Islam. Masyarakat sekitaran Suzuya Marelan merasa keberatan jika adanya aktivitas keagamaan akan didirikannya gereja di tempat perbelanjaan, mengingat Suzuya Marelan merupakan pusat perbelanjaan dan hiburan bagi masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Marelan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori konflik oleh Ralf Dahrendrof, dalam teori ini terdapat 3 pendekatan dalam penyelesaian konflik yaitu : konsiliasi, mediasi dan abitrase. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan mediasi dalam upaya penyelesaian konflik, dimana FKUB Kota Medan sebagai mediator guna upaya penyelesaian konflik. Dari penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan sejarah FKUB Kota Medan, asal usul konflik jema’at elim di Suzuya Marelan dan peran serta keterlibatan FKUB Kota Medan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapati didapati peran dan keterlibatan FKUB Kota Medan dan faktor apa saja yang menjadi pemicu terjadinya konflik GEKI

Abstract

This articel discusses the motivation of mothers in participating in the activities of the Taklim Council in Sipiongot Village Dolok District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The method used in thus research is qualitative. The case studiens contained in this research produce descriptive data such a written words or questions and answers. Data collection is carried out using observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. The results of the research in this thesis are that the motivation of mothers in participating in the recitation activites of the Annur Taklim Council is very varied, some of them are because they want to increase their knowledge in the religious field, increase their insight, strengthen relationships between fellow congregation members, there are also provisions for the afterlife, because of something. Experienced after attenting the study. The factor is that mothers take part in the recitation of the Annur Taklim Assembly because of their own awareness and willingness, and also the distance between home and the palce of recitation is very clos, apart from that there are also those who are happy with the delivey given byy the uasdat because the material is prepared in detail, there is also encouragement from close friends, and the most infortant thing is to participate in the activities of the Annur Taklim Counsil solely hoping for the pleasure of Allah AWT.

Abstract

This research discusses service strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic in the School Library of SMAN 1 Matauli Pandan, Central Tapanuli Regency. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. In this research, the research instrument is the researcher himself. The informants were the Matauli Pandan Library manager, library visitors, and several library staff. The results of this research show that the Library Service Strategy of SMAN 1 Matauli Pandan During the Covid-19 Pandemic includes: Washing hands and providing hand sanitizer, library visitors must wear masks, maintain social distancing, library visitors can only be 15 people. only and don't stay too long, library visiting hours are only 08.00-14.00 WIB, extending book borrowing and book return schedules only via WA (Whatsapp), regenerating library users' interest in reading by conducting joint discussion activities, book reviews , and reading books together, as well as other activities carried out virtually. The obstacles faced by librarians and users at the SMAN 1 Matauli Pandan Library during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic lie in the change in services which were previously carried out face-to-face, to be carried out virtually/online. The solution is to carry out activities in the library virtually/online or search for information that users need through the library's OPAC to reduce the number of visitors who come to the library.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the nature of the phenomenon of the YouTube GadgetIn audience, using an illustrative subjective methodology involving a top-down encounter strategy. The researchers applied an observational information gathering procedure to examine perceptions of the content presented by YouTube GadgetIn, especially related to meeting the needs of viewers in the world of technology. This study also explores views on YouTube as a social media using New Media and Uses & Gratifications theories, to see how media can evolve and develop by utilizing ideas from pre-existing media. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights into audience interaction with technology content and the role of YouTube in the context of social media.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Majelis Sholawat Al-Banjari (MSB) within the Banjar community in Serdang Bedagai. MSB has become an essential part of Banjar identity, which is widely recognized as a community deeply devoted to shalawat, influenced by the teachings of Tuan Guru Syaikh Zaini bin Abdul Ghani (Abah Guru Sekumpul). This research employs a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, involving participatory observation and the researcher’s direct engagement in MSB activities. The findings reveal that the etno-religious identity of the Banjar people in Serdang Bedagai has long been shaped by the tradition of Aruh Maulud, practiced well before the establishment of MSB. The presence of MSB has further reinforced this identity through the recitation of Maulid Simtudduror. Beyond serving as a medium for preserving religious traditions, MSB also functions as a space that strengthens the ties of Banjar migrants and acts as a “reminder” of their ancestral homeland in Kalimantan. This etno-religious identity becomes even more deeply embedded through the practice of shalawat inherited from Abah Guru Sekumpul, making shalawat not only a form of spiritual expression but also a symbol of the Banjar people’s collective identity in Serdang Bedagai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas Putusan Nomor 4/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Mbo terkait kasus penyerobotan tanah oleh PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) UP3 Meulaboh, Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum normatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan tersier melalui pendekatan perundang-undangan serta analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan hak atas tanah oleh BUMN diatur dalam Undang-Undang Pokok Agraria (UUPA) serta peraturan terkait, yang memberikan BUMN hak atas tanah berupa HGU, HGB, dan Hak Pakai. Dalam kasus ini, PT. PLN terbukti melakukan perbuatan melawan hukum sejak tahun 2019 dengan merusak pagar dan mendirikan tiang listrik di atas tanah milik penggugat tanpa izin. Berdasarkan putusan pengadilan, PT. PLN dinyatakan bersalah dan diwajibkan memindahkan tiang listrik tersebut. Namun, tindakan tersebut juga dapat dikategorikan sebagai pelanggaran pidana berdasarkan Pasal 167 dan 385 KUHP karena adanya unsur penyerobotan tanah

Abstract

This research tries to explain the Empowerment Strategy implemented by LAZISMu as a social institution operating in the field of philanthropy. Social inequality and efforts to eradicate it through empowerment programs are the main focus of this research. Relying on many theories and opinions put forward by Charles Tilly, in his theory Tilly said that the emergence of collective movements was due to the reflection of responses to complaints, shortcomings, ambiguity, structural tensions and other social suffering. This research uses qualitative methods and involves a lot of observation processes. The conclusion of this research is that the movement built by LAZISMu is a form of Muhammadiyah's response as a religious organization which sees ignorance and poverty as the main problems hampering this country. Therefore, empowerment is carried out as a strategy and effort to improve social welfare.
