Abstract

While sentiment analysis of local application reviews predominantly utilizes native Indonesian data, these datasets frequently suffer from colloquial ambiguities and informal structures that degrade classifier performance. This study addresses this gap by implementing a language-filtering mechanism to separate and analyze English and Indonesian user opinions from the MyTelkomsel application, specifically justifying the inclusion of English reviews due to their superior grammatical structure and syntactic consistency, which inherently enhances feature extraction. A systematic methodology was employed, encompassing data collection from the Google Play Store, comprehensive pre-processing (case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming), and Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) vectorization. Evaluated using Naïve Bayes and Random Forest algorithms on 25,000 customer feedbacks, the models were compared across accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The empirical results demonstrated that Random Forest outperformed Naïve Bayes, achieving a higher accuracy of 86.85% compared to 86.36%. This superiority stems from Random Forest’s robust capability to mitigate class imbalance and minimize error distribution across sentiment categories. Ultimately, this approach provides precise, actionable insights into service quality, enabling Telkomsel to effectively distinguish user satisfaction, target operational improvements, and mitigate customer churn.

Abstract

Complete basic immunization is an effective preventive measure to reduce morbidity and mortality from vaccine-preventable diseases. However, many infants and toddlers still miss complete immunization, often due to a lack of knowledge and awareness among parents. This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of pregnant women, mothers with infants and toddlers, and caregivers about the importance of complete basic immunization. The activity was carried out at the Mitra Ananda Clinic in Palembang through education methods such as counseling, interactive discussions, and the distribution of educational media. A total of 33 participants, consisting of pregnant women and mothers with infants and toddlers, attended the session. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires to assess changes in the participants' knowledge. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the types, schedule, and benefits of complete basic immunization. Participants also demonstrated a positive attitude and commitment to ensuring that their children receive immunization according to the schedule. This activity is expected to contribute to the improvement of complete immunization coverage and help prevent diseases that can be avoided through vaccination

Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition characterized by bowel movements occurring more frequently than usual, typically more than three times per day, with stools that are looser or more watery than normal. An infant is considered to have diarrhea if they defecate more than three times a day. According to the 2023 Household Health Survey (SKRT), diarrhea was the second leading cause of death among children under five years of age. Reports from 16 provinces and 41 districts indicated outbreaks of diarrhea in those areas, with a total of 10,980 diarrhea cases and 277 deaths attributed to the disease. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with the incidence of diarrhea among children under five years old in the service area of PMB Herasdiana, Palembang City. The study employed an analytical survey using a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all mothers who brought their under-five children for treatment at PMB Herasdiana, Palembang City. Data analysis included both univariate and bivariate analyses. The results showed that the incidence rate of diarrhea among children under five in the service area of PMB Herasdiana, Palembang City, in 2025 was 49.9%. The bivariate analysis revealed significant associations between maternal education, maternal employment status, and maternal age with the occurrence of diarrhea among under-five children. It is recommended that healthcare providers at PMB Herasdiana, Palembang City, enhance the quality of healthcare services, particularly in the effective and efficient management of diarrhea among children under five years of age.

Abstract

Aim: this study was to determine the needs of nurses scientifically using the Ilyas and Douglas method with a work sampling method in the adult care room at the At-Taqwa Gumawang Islamic Hospital.   Method: This research is a type of operational research classified as descriptive research with quantitative data analysis. If the basis for the division is the time of contact of the researcher / observer with the population / sample of the study, this study is a cross sectional study. The population in this study were nurses in the adult care room at the At-Taqwa Gumawang Islamic Hospital, which numbered 25 people, consisting of 18 women and 7 men. Results: The results of research with work sampling techniques on nurse activities are divided into four types of activities, namely direct productive activities (40%), indirect productive activities (32%), unproductive activities (9%) and personal activities (19%). Based on the data, it can be seen how much the percentage of workload each shift, namely the morning shift (88.88%), the afternoon shift (83.92%) and the night shift (57.84%). Conclution: the Ilyas and Douglas formulas have different results, in the Ilyas formula, there are 29 nurses needs, while the Douglas method requires only 18 nurses needs.

Abstract

Infant nutritional problems remain a public health concern as they affect child growth and development. Infant nutritional status is influenced by various factors related to infant characteristics and family conditions. This study aimed to identify factors associated with the nutritional status of infants aged 0–12 months at Dahlia Integrated Health Post, Palembang. This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design. The population included all infants aged 0–12 months, with a total sampling technique resulting in 30 infants. Independent variables included infant age, sex, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding, maternal education, maternal occupation, and parental income. Nutritional status was assessed using weight-for-age, length-for-age, and weight-for-length indicators. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact tests. The results showed that most infants had normal nutritional status based on all anthropometric indicators. Bivariate analysis indicated no significant association between most infant and family factors and nutritional status. However, infant age was significantly associated with nutritional status based on length-for-age (p < 0.05). These findings highlight the importance of early monitoring of linear growth in infants, particularly during the complementary feeding transition period.
