Abstract

Organic Solid waste of Cigaret not yet used optimaly amount of solid waste that is large enough that 3-4% of the production capacity and the current management is still a lot to do with how stacked in the factory location in a long time. The number of industrial solid waste generated is large enough, then most of the industry in Indonesia has sought to implement solid waste management oriented to exploiting the potential of the waste that can provide added value. Several studies on the characteristics of the solid waste industry in general suggest the potential to be used as compost that can be used to improve soil fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of the time of administration and dose of organic fertilizer from solid waste cigarette factory is best for the plant's growth and yield of tomato. The method used is the factorial withRCD (randomized completely design), consisting of 2 factors, factor 1 is when the solid fertilizer factory waste cigarette (W) consists of a 3 stage treatment: W1 = 14 days before planting, W2 = 7 days before planting, W3 = at planting time. Factor 2 is solid fertilizer factory waste cigarette (D) treatment consists of 3 levels: D1 = 5 tons / ha, D2 = 10 tonnes / ha, D3 = 15 tonnes / ha, and D3 = 20 tonnes / ha, with as many replications 3 times. The results of this study showed1) Current cigarette waste fertilizer (P1 = 14 days before planting, P2 = 7 days before planting, at planting P3 =) no significant effect on plant growth parameters indicated by the parameters of plant height, fresh weight and stover stover dry weight and also no significant effect, on the outcome parameters include parameters during flowering, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per harvest, leftover fruit per harvest. 2) The dose of cigarette waste fertilizer (D1 = 5 tons / ha, D2 = 10 tonnes / ha, D3 = 15 tonnes / ha, and D4 = 20 tons / ha) did not give a real effect, indicated by the parameters of plant height, fresh weight stover and stover dry weight, and also the outcome parameters include flowering time, and the rest of the fruit per harvest, but the parameters of existing results that show that the real effect of the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per harvest. 3) The interaction between treatment and time of administration of the dose of fertilizer at the cigarette factory wastes no significant effect on all parameters of growth and yield. 4) The highest of yield Tomato on combination treatment time of administration 14 days before planting with dose of organic fertilizer from solid waste cigarette factory 20 tons / ha (W1D4) is 1490,33 gram/plan.and the lowest (W3D1) is 682.33 g / plant

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of dosing cow urine phosphorus and against foul disease progression stems vanilla (BBV) and growth of vanilla (Vanilla planifolia). The research method used a basic design with factorial Randomized Complete Design (RAL) consisted of two treatment factors 3 deuteronomy that is a dose of 6 g/phosphorus plant; a dose of phosphorus 9 g/plant; a dose of phosphorus 12 g/plant (named as P1; P2; P3). Cow urine dose treatment consists of 4 levels, namely without the cow urine dose treatment; cow urine dose 10 ml/plant; cow urine dose 20 ml/plant; cow urine dose 30 ml/plant (named as U1; U2; U3; and U4). There are 12 treatment combinations, each combination treatment is repeated as many as 3 times until there are 36 combinations of treatment. The results of this study show that treatment doses of phosphorus had no effect against the real parameters of intensity of attacks, number of leaves, plant height, the weight of the fresh root, root volume, and weight of the dried root but real effect against the length of the roots and the weight of the dry stover. Cow urine dose treatment very real effect against the intensity of the attacks, the weight of the dry stover and dried root weight but has no effect against a real high parameters of plants, number of leaves, fresh root weight, root volume, length of the root. The combination of the treatment effect is evident against the fresh root weight parameters and the weight of the dry stover but do not affect the real intensity of the attack against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vanillae cause foul stem of vanilla (BBV), plant height, the number of leaves, fresh stover, heavy volume root, root length, and weight of the dried root. The highest dry weight stover is shown by the P2U2 treatment of 7.5 g as well as the lowest indicated by P1U0 treatment of 3.1 g. Best treatment on the intensity of the attacks of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. vanillae indicated by P1U0 of 16,67%.

Abstract

Cabbage plants (Brassica oleracea) are one of the vegetables that are widely cultivated by farmers in Indonesia, both in the highlands and lowlands. Cabbage plants are usually cultivated at the beginning of the dry season. Cabbage has high production potential and its marketing is relatively easy. So that it is right if the cabbage is prioritized as one of the leaf vegetable plants that needs to be further developed. Cabbage production in the last six years shows a trend of fluctuations every year. Production in 2012 increased by 0.14% to 7,550,021 tons from 7,539,533 tons, then increased by 1.95% to 7,469,013 tons in 2013, and decreased 3.06% to 7,461,697 tons in 2014, then in 2015 it decreased 2.62% to 7,265,840 tons, then in 2016 the production increased to 7,274,126 tons and subsequently in 2017 it increased 2.64%. Fluctuations in cabbage production are inseparable from the effect of an increase or decrease in the area of harvest and the attack of plant pests. The aim of this study was to determine the most effective concentration of the active ingredient of Permethrin 300 g/l to control Plutella xylostella L caterpillar pest in cabbage plants. This research was conducted in Sudimoro Village, Teras Subdistrict, Boyolali Regency at an altitude of 196 m above sea level with alluvial brown soil types, with soil solum thickness > 90 cm. Based on the Oldeman classification, Sudimoro Village is a D3 zone, with a wet month length of 3-4 months and a dry month length of 3-6 months. The method used in the study was a non factorial Complete Group Randomized Design (RAKL) with 5 (five) different concentrations of insecticide treatments. The concentration treatments used were 1 cc/ liters (C1), 0.75 cc/ liters (C2), 0.5 cc/ liters (C3), 0.25 cc/ liters (C4), and control (C5). The results showed that the treatment of the active ingredient concentration of insecticide Permethrin 300 g/l had a very significant effect on the parameters of the Plutella xylostella L population, the weight of the wet stover, the weight of the crop, and the diameter of the crop. However, it does not significantly affect the parameters of plant height and dry stover weight. The effectiveness of the active ingredient insecticide Permethrin 300 g/l in the parameters of the population of Plutella xylostella L is best in the treatment concentration of 0.75 cc/ liters (C2), with a 100% efficacy rate.

Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merril) is one of the main food commodities in Indonesia. Soybean production has not been able to meet domestic food needs, one of the causes is the existence of drought stress. The aim of this study was to analyze the growth of soybean plants at different levels of drought stress at various stages of growth. This research was conducted in a plastic house in Demangan village, Sambi district, Boyolali district from August to December 2020. The study used a completely randomized design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor is soil moisture content ei. 100%, 75%, 50% 25% of field capacity. The second factor is the time of drought stress which includes the active vegetative phase, the flowering phase, and the seed filling phase. The parameters observed were Leaf Area Index (LAI), Specific Leaf Area (SLA), Crop Growth Rate (CGR), and Net Assimilation Rate (NAR). The results of this study indicated that drought stress in the pod filling phase reduced LAI, SLA, NAR, and CGR.

Abstract

Curly red chili (Capsicum annum L.) is a horticultural plant that has high economic value. So many people are cultivating it. Chili plants are susceptible to the attack of Plant Disrupting Organisms (OPT) which can decrease the production yield and quality of chili harvests. One of the potentially damaging Plant Disrupting Organisms is pests, whose presence in chili plants is very diverse. The life cycle and eating activities are very detrimental to farmers because it will reduce the yield of chili plants. The purpose of this study is to find out the diversity of pest types and to determine the rate of attack from fruit fly pests (Bactrocera dorsalis) on the curly red chili plant (Capsicum annum L.). Research has been carried out in Cabeyan Village, Bendosari district, Sukoharjo. October 1, 2020 – February 28, 2021. The study used observational, descriptive, and interview methods. Data collection is done directly and sampling using random sampling methods. In this study found several types of pests consisting of 12 species divided into 11 species into phylum Artropoda and 1 Species of Phylum Mollusca. As well as the rate of attack of fruit flies (Bactrocera dorsalis) with the highest average intensity of attack at 76% of the attack scale is very heavy.
