Abstract

This article reports on research a message design of printed and digital message in Learning Theory course at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Survey was conducted to collect data on the utilization of instructional materials by students who ware active in the semester in January-June. The results indicated that the print instructional materials written by lecturers have started to consider the design principles message, but still needs to be improved. That principle has not been carried out for digital teaching materials. Digital teaching materials need to be developed to familiarize students studying in 21st century environments by optimizing the campus e-learning facility to be able to perform generative learning, and meaningful learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe Snowball Throwing dan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain the static group comparison design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Gugus II Kecamatan Sungai Geringging. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Sampel  penelitian siswa didapatkan kelas IV SDN 03 Sungai Geringging dan siswa kelas IV SDN 23 Sungai Geringging. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan mengamati proses pembelajaran selama model diterapkan melalui lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji chi kuadrad. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan aktivitas belajar siswa yang signifikan yang diajarkan menggunakan model Snowball Throwing dengan aktivitas belajar siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model Think Pair Share, dengan nilai chihitung sebesar 1,094 dan chitabel 11,07 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi dari kenyataan di Sekolah Dasar, bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa masih rendah. Siswa tidak berani mengeluarkan pendapat, malu berbicara di depan kelas, grogi, dan tersendat-sendat saat berbicara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 36 Gunung Sarik Padang, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III sebanyak 30 siswa dan peneliti sebagai praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan metode bercerita. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan siswa berbicara dengan bercerita terjadi peningkatan dari nilai 67,64 dengan taraf cukup menjadi 80,14 berada pada taraf baik. Pada siklus I hanya terdapat 12 siswa yang tuntas (40%), sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 26 siswa yang tuntas (87%). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bercerita terbukti dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.

Abstract

The research is based on the problem that the researcher found in grade 6 of SDN 10 Sungai Sapih Padang where student learning outcomes are very low in PKN subjects in the material of socio-cultural and economic diversity due to various factors. The researcher decided to implement the REACT learning model in order to improve the learning outcomes of students in the 6th grade.This study is a quasi-experimental study with class 6B as the experimental class and class 6C as the control class. The procedure is preparation, research and assessment. The technique of collecting data in this research is a test in the form of objective questions, as well as documentation with the instrument, namely test items. The tests used are normality, homogeneity and independent.Based on the analysis, it was found that there were differences in learning outcomes between classes taught with the REACT and conventional models in PKN subjects on socio-cultural and economic diversity. with the difference in the final score, namely in the experimental class the average value is 82, the highest score is 100 and the lowest is 50, while the control class has an average value of 7, the highest score is 90 and the lowest is 55. So it can be seen if there is a significant difference which can also be seen from the test results. the hypothesis obtained 0.05 (Sig. 0.000 0.05) means that Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there are differences in the learning outcomes of students who study with the REACT learning model and students who study conventionally on PKN subjects in the socio-cultural and economic diversity of SDN 10 Sungai Sapih Kuranji.

Abstract

Pengembangan  bahan ajar dalam dunia pendidikan dilakukan sebagai solusi dalam menjawab permasalahan pembelajaran dimana masih belum adanya bahan ajar interaktif yang digunakan oleh tenaga pendidik pada saat proses pembelajaran sehingga membuat kurangnya motivasi peserta didik dalam belajar. Kurikulum merdeka belajar seharusnya memberikan peserta didik kemudahan dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel dan direalisasikan dengan adanya studi kasus serta project dalam menunjang pemahaman peserta didik mengenai mata pelajaran informatika yang dijadikan sebagai mata pelajaran wajib SMP pada kurikulum merdeka belajar. Bahan ajar melalui e-modul dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk mengurangi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga dapat membuat pembelajaran terasa lebih menyenangkan dan menumbuhkan kemandirian peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul pada mata pelajaran informatika kelas VII SMP agar menghasilkan bahan ajar yang layak, interaktif dan praktis digunakan oleh tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Skor rata-rata validator materi yaitu 3,9 dan dikategorikan “Valid”. Skor rata-rata untuk penggunaan bahan ajar dengan aplikasi Flip PDF Corporate Edition pada mata pelajaran informatika kelas VII SMP oleh validator media I yaitu 3,8 dengan kriteria “ Valid” dan validator media II yaitu 3,5 dengan kriteria “Valid”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dari sisi media dikategorikan “Valid”. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 4 tahapan model, tahap pertama dengan melakukan analisis kurikulum, analisis peserta didik, dan analisis konsep. Kemudian dilakukan pengembangan produk awal dengan membuat flowchart lalu membuat bahan ajar dengan aplikasi Flip PDF Corporate Edition. Selanjutnya dilakukan tahapan uji validitas oleh validator materi dan validator media. Yang terakhir yaitu melakukan uji coba praktikalitas kepada peserta didik kelas VII SMP. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Bahan Ajar, Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, Informatika, SMP

Abstract

The development of podcasts as learning media is carried out as a form of effort in overcoming problems in learning activities, where the lack of learning media used by teachers has an impact on students' lack of motivation in learning. This study aims to develop podcasts as learning media for grade IV Indonesian Language Subjects in order to produce media that is appropriate, practical and effective for use by teachers and students. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the Hannadfin & Peck research model. This development model consists of 3 stages in each stage there is an evaluation, namely needs analysis, design, development, and implementation. Based on the assessment results from the media validator and material validator, an average material validation result of 4.9 was categorized as "very appropriate", the validation results from media validator 1 obtained an average of 3.42 categorized as "valid" and media validator 2 was obtained an average of 4.86 is categorized as "very valid". This podcast media is said to be "practical" based on the practicality test with an average value of 4.37.

Abstract

This study seeks to develop dependable, simple, and effective e-module learning resources to meet the content and media feasibility requirements for social studies class IV SD N 12 Koto Baru. This method of research and development employs the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) framework. Participants included teachers, students, learning experts, media experts, and material experts. Included among the research methodologies were questionnaires and evaluation instruments. The two categories of data analysis techniques are quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative analysis techniques. On the product validity test, Validator I received an average score of 4.86 ("Very Valid"), while Validator II received an average score of 4.7 ("Very Valid"). Both validators' media received identical ratings: 4.65 (Very Valid) and 4.8 (Very Valid) for validator I's media and validator II's media, respectively. The trial-based e-module practicality evaluation yielded the same score of 4.73 (Very uncomplicated) for the examination. The evaluation of the efficacy of e-module use yielded a homogeneous score of 84.35 percent and a completeness percentage of 90 percent (Very Effective). In the fourth grade of this elementary school, ADDIE was utilized to create IPAS e-modules. On the basis of the findings of the study, it was determined that IPAS fourth graders could easily utilize e-module content.

Abstract

The problem encountered at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya is that teachers still need to develop the skills to design, compose, and provide for implementing blended learning. The problems faced by SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya were overcome by providing a blended learning activity design workshop for optimizing learning resources at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. This activity is designed for five months, from July to November 2022. The activity scenario consists of three steps. The first step is an introduction to the concept of blended learning activity design and the components that support it. Second, introducing the LMS platform as a communication medium between teachers and students while implementing blended learning, how the LMS system works, the available features, and steps to use the LMS. In the third step, the teachers submit a blended learning activity. The indicator of the workshop's success for teachers at SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya is that each teacher at least produces a blended learning activity plan and can simulate it. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there is a difference in knowledge between before and after the workshop. This means that, through this training, teachers can design blended learning activities that can be utilized and applied in learning. Applying this activity design can create a learning atmosphere and actively increase student involvement.  ---  Permasalahan yang ditemui di SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya bahwa guru-guru belum memiliki keterampilan untuk merancang, mengkomposisikan serta menyediakan kebutuhan dalam penyelenggaraan pembelajaran secara blended learning. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya diatasi dengan memberikan workshop desain aktivitas blended learning untuk optimalisasi sumberdaya pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya. Kegiatan ini dirancang dalam waktu lima bulan, mulai dari Juli-November 2022. Skenario kegiatan terdiri dari tiga langkah. Langkah pertama adalah pengenalan konsep desain aktivitas blended learning dan komponen yang mendukungnya. Kedua, pengenalan platform LMS sebagai media komunikasi guru dengan siswa selama menerapkan blended learning dan bagaimana sistem kerja LMS, fitur-fitur yang tersedia dan langkah menggunakan LMS tersebut. Langkah ketiga, guru-guru menyerahkan rancangan aktivitas blended learning. Indikator keberhasilan workshop bagi guru-guru di SMAN 1 Koto Baru Dharmasraya ini adalah setiap guru minimal menghasilkan sebuah rancangan aktivitas blended learning serta mampu mensimulasikannya. Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan antara sebelum dan setelah workhshop. Ini berarti bahwa melalui pelatihan ini, guru-guru mampu merancang aktivitas blended learning yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan rancangan aktivitas ini mampu menciptakan suasana belajar dan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif.

Abstract

The utilisation of e-learning via the Internet provides the benefits of adaptability, extensive accessibility to educational materials, and convenient entry. Nevertheless, the utilisation of the Internet in education presents concerns like the presence of irrelevant content and potential risks to data security. The objective of this study is to obtain precise data by administering questionnaires that assess the availability of e-learning resources such as computer equipment and internet networks, user proficiency, and learner characteristics. Data were gathered via interviews conducted with teachers, observations made of e-learning enabling facilities, and the distribution of questionnaires to high school students in Pariaman City. The findings indicate that educational institutions are prepared to facilitate e-learning. The primary advantage of using E-Learning is the availability of open and widely accessible learning resources. The introduction of the E-learning system encountered issues, notably the presence of irrelevant content. Hence, the objective of this study is to uncover information pertaining to the necessary e-learning resources that facilitate the process of learning. A questionnaire was employed as the data gathering instrument. The primary concept presented in the document explores computer devices and internet networks, user functionalities, and participant and student attributes. The specimen constituted a secondary educational institution. Interviewing was another method employed for data collecting. The interview focused on eliciting information regarding the E-learning infrastructure acquired from both professors and students. The findings indicate that the school is prepared to adopt E-learning. However, the implementation of Intranet-based E-learning is necessary to address the current challenges.

Abstract

Online learning has been implemented widely at school, including in language learning. But, there are still many language teachers who encounter difficulties in doing online learning evaluations. To improve the language teachers' ability to do the learning evaluation with online media, we conducted training for the teachers about online learning evaluation media. Training participants were a group of Senior High School and Vocational high school teachers in Padang. The training was carried out with the stages of introducing the types of online learning evaluation media, tutorials on how to use some applications for online learning evaluation, and teachers simulating the online learning evaluation they had designed. The training result showed the improvement in teachers' ability to do learning evaluations with online media. The post-test results were two times higher than the pre-test results. Both tests' results showed a significant difference between before and after training.
