Abstract

This study aims to identify the effects of mycorrhiza arbuscular and phosphate source fertilizer on the growth and nutrients absorption of soybean on critical land. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of Agricultural Faculty, University of Syiah Kuala Darussalam, Banda Aceh. The research was done in an experiments using polybag of random design group (shelves) consisting 2 factors, namely mycorrhiza arbuscular consisting of 4 standards without mycorrhiza, glomus 10 g, mycorrhiza gigaspora 10 g, and mixture glomus 5 g + gigaspora 5 g and phosphate fertilizer consisting 4 factors namely without phosphate fertilizer, rock fosfat, guano, and SP-36. The result showed that the interaction effect of mycorrhiza glomus and guano phosphate application improved growth and nutrients absorption of soybean plants. Key words: Gigaspora, Glomus, guano, rock phosphate, soybean, SP-36/>

Abstract

Tanaman Selada merupakan salah satu komoditi hortikultural yang memiliki nilai komersial yang cukup baik. Semakin bertambahnya jumlah penduduk indonesia serta meningkatnya kesejahteraan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kebutuhan gizi, menyebabkan bertambahnya permintaan akan sayuran di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis media tanam serta dosis pupuk NPK yang tepat, untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil selada yang optimum sehingga dapat menjadi informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Teuku Umar, Meulaboh Aceh Barat dari bulan November 2019 sampai dengan Januari 2020. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan persemaian, persiapan media tanam, penanaman, pemupukan, pemeliharaan dan panen. Variabel pengamatan : Tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun umur 14,21, dan 28 HST. Berat segar tanaman dan berat segar akar. Hasil penelitian Jenis media menunjukan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat segar tanaman dan berat segar akar tanaman terbaik dijumpai pada tanah Aluvial. Sedangkan Dosis pupuk NPK menunjukan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, berat segar tanaman dan berat segar akar tanaman terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan N3 (NPK 2,25 g/polibag).

Abstract

Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) Is one of the essential oil producing plants of the Labiatae family. This study aims to determine the type and dosage of liming on the growth of patchouli on peat soils. And whether these two factors are real or not. Some of the ingredients used as ameliorant are shell ash, eggshell, and dolomite. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar University, Meulaboh, Aceh Barat on 29 October 2019 to 13 February 2020. This study used a 3 x 3 factorial randomizedblock design with 3 replicates. Variables observed included changes in soil pH at 7 and 90 HSA, number of shoots and number of leaves at 15, 30 and 45 HST, plant height and number of branches at 60, 75 and 90 HST and leaf wet and dry weight at 90 HST. The results showed that the administration of liming species was able to influence the parameters of soil pH changes at 7 and 90 HSA, the number of leaves aged 45 HST, and the number of branches aged 90 HST and the best treatment was found on the shells of shells. The administration of liming dose is able to influence the parameters of soil pH changes at 7 HSA, plant height aged 60, 75 and 90 HST, number of branches aged 60 HST and the best treatment is found at a dose of 31.25 grams / polybag. Provision of liming type and dosage gives an interaction effect on soil pH changes at 7 HSA and the number of branches aged 60, 75 and 90 HST and the best treatment is found in clam shells with a dose of 31.25 grams / polybag.Keywords: Patchouli, Calcification, Peatland

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of several local rice varieties to the provision of palm oil bare ash on peatlands. This study was arranged in a Split Plot Design Split plot with 2 treatments and 4 groups, consisting of 4 local rice varieties, namely: P 1 = Cut Krusek, P 2 = Ramos Mirah, P3= Sambe and P4= Bo Sireutoh. Ameliorant factors in palm oil ash consist of: A 0 = Control, A 1 = 15 tons ha-1. The results showed that the varieties had a very significant effect on plant height at 45 HST, number of tillers per clump age 45 HST, number of productive tillers per clump, significantly affected plant age 60 HST, had no significant effect on plant height at 30 HST, number of tillers per family age 30 and 60 HST, rice grain and grain are empty. The Bo Sireutoh variety (P 4 ) has the ability to increase the rate of growth of the number of tillers per clump, the number of productive tillers per clump and the weight of rice paddy per plot. Whereas the Cut Krusek variety (P 1 ) has the ability to increase the rate of growth at the plant height level and the percentage of empty grain. The treatment of oil palm ash ameliorant on peatland is able to increase growth at plant height, rice grain percentage and percentage of empty grain, but it does not significantly affect the number of productive tillers per clum. Keywords : Palm-length ash ameliorates, Rice Varieties

Abstract

Odot elephant grass is a tropical forage forage that is easily developed, has high production and can be used as animal feed.This study aims to determine the effect of ameliorant types and organic fertilizer (Agrodyke) doses on the growth of odot elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) on peatlands. This study used a 3x3 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications consisting of: (1) ameliorant type factor (A) consisting of 3 levels, namely: A1 =dolomite lime, A2 = Shellfish shell, A3 = Eggshell. (2) Agrodyke fertilizer dose factor (D) Consists of 3 levels, namely: D0 = 0 gram / plant, D1 = 10 gram / plant, D2 = 20 gram / plant. Observation parameters are the number of leaves, number of shoots, leaf length, plant height. The results of this study indicate that the type of ameliorant did not significantly affect the number of leaves, number of shoots, leaf length, and plant height at 2 MST, 4 MST, and 6 MST. Versatile fertilizer (Agrodyke) dosage significantly affected the number of leaves and plant height at 6 MST. But no significant effect on the number of leaves, number of shoots and plant height in 2 MST and 4 MST. Keywords: Peat, Ameliorant Species, Odot Elephant Grass, Agrodyke.
