Abstract

This service aims to provide information so that farmers can utilize and apply liquid organic fertilizer from vegetable waste (MOL) to rice plants in the village of Cot Darat, Sama Tiga District, West Aceh Regency. The method used to achieve these objectives is through counseling using participatory and on-site practice. The stages of its implementation are through counseling methods in the form of material exposure on vegetable waste MOL, discussion of farmer groups on site, training in processing organic waste into biocomposers together with farmer groups. The results of this service show that the level of knowledge and understanding of technology for processing vegetable waste into organic fertilizer can be absorbed (controlled) by rice farmers. All members of the group consist of various ages ranging from 30 to 50 years. One indicator in determining work productivity in conducting business development is the age level, where the age of farmers who are relatively young is stronger, work smart, easy to accept new innovations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas cabe rawit (Capsicum frutencens L Var. Cengek) terhadap berbagai konsentrasi pupuk organik cair bonggol pisang serta nyata tidaknya interaksi kedua faktor tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UF (University Farm), Universitas Teuku Umar Meulaboh Aceh Barat mulai dari bulan April 2019 sampai dengan selesai. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah benih cabai rawit varietas Genie, Bara dan sigantung, POC bonggol pisang dan polybag. Sedangkan alat-alat yang akan digunakan antara lain cangkul, parang, gembor, ember, gelas ukur, timbangan analitik, kereta sorong, gayung, meteran, papan nama, kamera dan alat tulis menulis. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 6 x 3 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti meliputi konsentrasi pupuk organik cair bonggol pisang dan varietas. Faktor konsentrasi POC bonggol pisang (K) terdiri dari 6 taraf yaitu K0 = 0 (Kontrol), K1 = 10% (100 ml POC/ 900 ml air), K2 = 20% (200 ml POC/ 800 ml air), K3 = 30% (300 ml POC/ 700 ml air), K4 = 40% (400 ml POC/ 600 ml air) dan K5 = 50% (500 ml POC/ 500 ml air). Faktor varietas (V) terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu V1 = Genie, V2 = Bara dan V3 = Pelita Peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter pangkal batang, jumlah buah, berat buah dan produksi per hektar. Hasil uji F pada analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi POC bonggol pisang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap diameter pangkal batang 20 dan 30 HST, jumlah buah, berat buah dan produksi per ha. Berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 20, 30 dan 40 HST, diameter pangkal batang 40 HST. Varietas berpengaruh nyata tinggi tanaman 30 dan 40 HST, diameter pangkal batang 20, 30 dan 40 HST, jumlah buah, berat buah dan produksi per ha. Namun berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 20 HST. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi POC bonggol pisang dan varietas terhadap semua peubah pengamatan yang diamati. Response of Giving Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Banana weevil to Growth and Production of Several Varieties of Chili (Capsicum frutencens L. Var. CengekThis study aims to determine the response of growth and production of several varieties of cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutencens L Var. Cengek) to various concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer of banana weevil and the interaction between the two factors. This research was conducted at UF (University Farm), Teuku Umar Meulaboh University, West Aceh, starting from April 2019 until completion. The materials used in this study were Genie, Bara and sigantung chili seeds, POC banana weevil and polybag. While the tools that will be used include hoes, machetes, fansticks, buckets, measuring cups, analytical scales, wheelbarrows, dipper, meter, nameplate, camera and writing stationery.The design used in this study was a 6 x 3 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 3 replications. Factors studied included the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of banana weevil and varieties. Banana POC (K) POC concentration factor consists of 6 levels, K0 = 0 (Control), K1 = 10% (100 ml POC / 900 ml water), K2 = 20% (200 ml POC / 800 ml water), K3 = 30% (300 ml POC / 700 ml water), K4 = 40% (400 ml POC / 600 ml water) and K5 = 50% (500 ml POC / 500 ml water). Variety factor (V) consists of 3 levels, namely V1 = Genie, V2 = Bara and V3 = Pelita The observed variables are plant height, stem diameter, number of fruits, fruit weight and production per hectare.F test results on the analysis of variance showed that the POC concentration of banana weevil had a very significant effect on the stem diameter of 20 and 30 HST, number of fruits, fruit weight and production per ha. Significantly affected plant height 20, 30 and 40 HST, stem diameter of 40 HST.Varieties significantly affected plant height 30 and 40 HST, stem diameter 20, 30 and 40 HST, number of fruits, fruit weight and production per ha. But no significant effect on plant height 20 HST.There was no significant interaction between the POC concentrations of banana weevil and varieties on all observed observational variables

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan produksi bayam merah dengan pemberian kombinasi antara pupuk kandang dan ZPT giberelin. Penelitian ini menggunakan percobaan monofaktor dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah T0 (kontrol), T1 (GA3 100 ppm dan pupuk kandang sapi 6.250 kg/ha), T2 (GA3 200 ppm dan pupuk kandang sapi 12.500 kg/ha), T3 (GA3 300 ppm dan pupuk kandang sapi 18.750 kg/ha) . Parameter yang diamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah dan berat kering. Data diolah dengan analisis ragam dan uji lanjut dengan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan. Pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman terbaik adalah pada perlakuan 18.750 kg/ha pupuk kandang sapi dan 300 ppm giberelin. Jumlah daun terbanyak pada perlakuan 18.750 kg/ha pupuk kandang sapi dan 300 ppm giberelin giberelin. Luas daun, berat basah, dan berat kering terbaik pada perlakuan 718.750 kg/ha pupuk kandang sapi dan 300 ppm giberelin. Disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kandang dan giberelin meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun), serta produksi tanaman (berat basah dan berat kering) bayam.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu jenis sayuran, sawi memiliki kandungan gizi yang lengkap, sehingga sangat baik dimakan untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh dalam upaya untuk terus meningkatkan produksi sawi dan pendapatan petani yaitu dengan menggunakan komposisi media tanam yang tepat dalam menyediakan unsur hara bagi tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi substrat tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil sawi (Brasissca juncea L.).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan kebun bibit gampong Desa Padang Kecamatan Manggeng, Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya pada bulan Oktober sampai dengan Desember 2021 dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non Faktorial dengan 7 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan yaitu: K? = tanah + pupuk kandang + arang sekam (1:2:1), K? = tanah + pupuk kandang + Sekam padi (1:1:3), K? = tanah + Pupuk kandang + Serbuk kayu (1:2:2), K? = tanah + Pupuk kompos + Arang sekam (1:1:2) K? = tanah + pupuk Kompos + Sekam padi (1:1:1), K? = tanah + pupuk Kompos + Serbuk kayu (1: 3 :1) dan K? = tanah + pupuk kandang + Pupuk kompos (1 : 2 : 3). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa kombinasi perlakuan media tanaman sawi berpengaruh jelas terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 3, 4 dan 5 MST, tetapi tidak berpengaruh jelas terhadap tanaman umur 1 dan 2 MST. Berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun tanaman sawi umur 4 dan 5 MST dan bobot basah tanaman sawi, namun tidak berpengaruh jelas terhadap jumlah daun umur 1, 2 dan 3 MST. Pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan K6 (tanah + pupuk kandang + Pupuk kompos (1 : 2 : 3)).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan nilam varietas tapaktuan dan sidikalang. Penilitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan bulan Juli sampai November 2021 di Screen House di BPTP Aceh. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalan penelitian ini artinya Rancangan acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial menggunakan dua factor, factor pertama yaitu Tapaktuan (V1), Sidikalang (V2). Faktor kedua yakni dosis pupuk NPK yang terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu : D0 = control, D1 = 1 gram, D2 = 2 gram, D3= 3 gram. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman nilam terhadap pemberian pupuk NPK dijumpai pada varietas tapaktuan dan Pada dosis 2 gram berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman.

Abstract

Rendahnya daya simpan benih kacang tanah merupakan salah satu permasalahan dalam produksi kacang tanah. Silica gel merupakan suatu bahan desikan untuk menjaga kelembaban selama masa simpan sehingga mutu benih kacang tanah dapat dipertahankan selama masa simpan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan beberapa dosis silika gel terhadap daya simpan benih kacang tanah varietas kelinci. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Teknologi Benih Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Teuku Umar. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan dosis Silika Gel (A) terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu: 0 g tanpa silika gel (A1), 10 g silika gel (A2), 20 g silika gel (A3) dan 30 g Silika gel (A4). Parameter viabilitas dan vigor benih terdiri dari Daya kecambah (DB), Kadar Air, Indeks Vigor (IV), Potensi Tumbuh Maksimum (%), Kecepatan Tumbuh Relatif (KCT-R), serta keserempakan tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa. Dosis silika gel 30g merupakan dosis terbaik terhadap viabilitas dan vigor benih kacang tanah, penggunaan dosis silica gel yang terlalu rendah akan berdampak negatif terhadap performansi fisiologis benih kacang tanah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peengaruh Pupuk hijau Kerinyuh dan POC Nasi Basi dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di Desa Babul Kecamatan Simeulue Barat . Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan November 2021 sampai selesai. Alat dan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: cangkul, meteran, kamera, kalkulator, gembor, timbangan, alat tulis, gunting, biji bayam, POC daun kriuk dan nasi basi, air dan tanah. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah  pupuk kerinyuh yang  terdiri  dari  3  taraf perlakuan  K0  (kotrol),  K1  ( pupuk kerinyuh 900 g/polybag), dan K2 (pupuk kerinyuh 1800 g/polybag). Faktor kedua adalah terdiri atas 3 taraf perlakuan poc nasi basi N0 (kontrol), N1 (75 ml/L) N2 (100 ml/L). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dari Hasil parameter yang diamati penelitian ini ternyata pupuk hijau kerinyuh dan poc  nasi basi  berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam.

Abstract

The CSR program which is based on Government Regulation Number 47 of 2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Companies has done a lot of research, one of which is testing compost fertilizer on the growth and yield of land spinach. Kangkung land (Ipomoea reptans Poir) is a type of vegetable that is already known by all levels of Indonesian society, water spinach is a short-lived plant, which contains quite high nutrients. The experimental design that will be used in this study is a 4 x 1 non-factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 3 replications, so there are 12 treatment combinations. The factors to be investigated are: The effect of compost fertilizer (K) consists of 4 levels, namely: Control K0 (without fertilizer) K1 3kg/block (1kg/polybag) K2 4kg/block (1.3kg/polybag) K3 5kg/block ( 1.6 kg/polybag). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves (strands), number of petioles, and stem length. the results showed that the best plant height was found in the K3 treatment. on the number of leaves, the highest value was found in the K3 treatment, namely compost 5kg/block (1.6kg/polybag) treatment (K3) which was significantly different from K0 and K1 treatments, but not significantly different from (K2). on the leaf length parameter the best value was found in the K3 treatment which was significantly different from K0 (control), but not significantly different from the K1, and K2 treatments. , (strands) and the highest leaf length were found in the K3 5kg/block (1.6kg/polybag) treatment which was significantly different from the other treatments.Keywords: compost, CSR program, land kale

Abstract

Pepper (Piper nigrum L.) is a high economic value estate crop. Cuttings play animportant role in seedling pepper plants because it is more effective, an effort to overcome the failure in root growth in cuttings is to provide growth regulators. In its use, the effectiveness of ZPT is influenced by the type and concentration of ZPT used. This study aims to determine the effect of the type and concentration of natural PGR on the propagation of pepper by cuttings and the interaction of the two factors. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of theFaculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar Meulaboh University from January to March 2020. The material used was cuttings of pepper plants obtained from pepper growers, shallots, bamboo shoots, banana weevil, alluvial soil, manure,  polybags, hooded plastic and raffia. The tools used are: hoes, scissors, knives, gauges, fansticks, cameras, stationery and cameras. The design used in this study was a 3 x 6 factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. Natural ZPT type factor (J) consists of three levels, namely: J1 = Shallot Extract, J2 = Bamboo Shoot Extract, J3 = Banana Weevil Extract. Variables observed were percentage of growth, number of shoots, number of leaves, root length, root wet weight and root dry weight. F test results on the analysis of variance showed that the type of natural PGR had a very significanteffect on root length. Significantly affect the growth potential, the number of shoots 45, 60 and 75 HST, the number of leaves 45, 60 and 75 HST, root wet weight and root dry weight. But no significant effect on the number of buds 30 HST and leaf number 30 HST. Keywords: Pepper cuttings, Type of ZPT, Concentration.

Abstract

The availability of water is an important factor that greatly affects the growth and yield at the onions. The objective of this research was to study the growth content of three cultivars of onions (Allium cepa L.) on different water availability condition. This research was conducted in the Sawit Sari Greenhouse, Laboratory of Plant Physiology Faculty of Biology and the Laboratory of Chemistry, Faculty of MIPA, University Gadjah Mada in September-December 2015. The design used in this experiment was a Complete Random Design (CRD) with two factors, cultivar and frequency of watering. The cultivars used were Biru Lancor (V1), Crok Kuning (V2), Tiron (V3) using differences watering frequency: 2 times daily watering (P1), once a day watering (P2), once a watering in 2 days (P3), once a watering in 3 days (P4). Each treatment combination was done with 5 replication. Water treatment was done in second week until eight week after planting. The observed parameters included leaves length, number and fresh weight of the leaves, the length and weight of roots, fresh weight and dry weight of tubers which measured by digital scales and tape measure. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA). The results showed the differences in frequency of watering influences the growth, and yield content of three cultivars of onions. Leaves length, fresh weight, and number of leaves decreased with the reduction of the frequency of watering. Root length and fresh weight of root, fresh and dry weight of tuber increased with the reduction of the watering frequency. Keywords: Onion (Allium cepa L.), drought,
