Abstract

The school library is one of the educational facilities supporting learning activities and has an important role in supporting the achievement of educational goals. At SMPN 1 Mandalawangi, the library plays a role in assisting students and teachers in obtaining subject matter references to support teaching and learning activities. In the library, activities such as visitor registration, book recording, book borrowing, returning transactions, and making reports at the library are still done manually, so it requires more time and effort, and mistakes often occur in finding the required data. The author designed a library management information system using a web-based QR Code to solve this problem so that activities can be carried out more quickly and easily. The Waterfall development method is used to build this web-based information system. The stages that are passed in this method are the Requirement, Design, Coding & Testing, Integration & Testing, and Operation and Maintenance stages. The information system is built using the JavaScript programming language, the ReactJS library, Cloud Firestore as the database, and UML as the system model. The final result of this design is to produce a library management information system using a web-based QR Code for the SMPN 1 Mandalawangi Library. It can be interpreted that the system that has been designed can facilitate library staff in the service process, data management, and making reports at the SMPN 1 Mandalawangi library.

Abstract

Midwife Lia Yulianingsih Independent Practice is a place to provide services in the health sector such as serving examinations for pregnant women, examination of children and toddlers, providing child immunizations, injecting birth control, and assisting the delivery process. The patient service process is still relatively conventional and less effective and efficient in the process of patient registration, reporting, and data collection. Management of patient examination history data is also still carried out manually. Based on this, solutions are needed in overcoming existing problems, it is necessary to have a computerized system so that information runs quickly and accurately. The method is the waterfall with Unified Modelling Language (UML). The programming language used is PHP with a Mysql database. The purpose is to determine the proposed system, design and implement a web-based patient service information system at the Independent Practice of Midwife Lia Yulianingsih. The results obtained are midwives and assistant midwives will be more effective and efficient in registering patients and recording patient examination data, providing ease of searching patient data and previous patient history examination data, thus helping all related processes become faster, facilitating the work of officers in making patient visit reports and income reports more quickly and accurately

Abstract

The government has developed a population administration system to support public services, one of the media used by the government is electronic government (e-government). One of the villages that has a large Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in the Serang district, Banten province is Ranjeng village, Ciruas sub-district. The problem is that data management in villages is still carried out semi-manually, there is no specific application to handle this management so it is not time efficient, reporting and the level of service to the community is less than optimal. To overcome these problems, a system is needed that can help the community in submitting letters and can help the village government to improve services to the community. The system design used in this research is using the Waterfall method so that it is easier to develop and using UML (Unified Modelling Language) for visual system modelling, while the programming language used is PHP using the Laravel framework. The final result of this research is a system that can improve the services of the Ranjeng Village Office to the community to be optimal.

Abstract

The green revolution helped increase food production by intensifying existing land so that it could provide synthetic nutrients. However, synthetic fertilizers make plants vulnerable to pests and other hazards. This causes living things that help decompose the soil to be vulnerable to death due to the use of synthetic pesticides. The longer the use of these pesticides causes the soil to become damaged without any improvement. One indicator is a decrease in acidity levels, which should be a neutral pH of 7. Therefore, this study created a system that can be used to detect the acidity level of agricultural land. The location of the research object is agricultural rice fields in Serang Regency, Banten Province. The equipment used to support the IoT-based system includes a soil pH sensor, NodeMCU ESP8266, 3. Switch, and 9v Battery. The system development method uses the waterfall method and is IoT-based so that soil acidity levels can be monitored remotely. Based on the trial results, the system can measure and monitor soil acidity conditions remotely easily, quickly, and accurately. This system can help and facilitate farmers in making decisions about the appropriate use of dolomite lime for land that tends to be acidic.

Abstract

Cataract is a condition in which the lens inside the eye becomes cloudy, resulting in blurred or hazy vision. RSAW treats around 800 cataract patients every month, served by seven cataract ophthalmologists. The limited number of doctors and different levels of expertise can affect the duration of the initial screening time. Therefore, a system is needed that can support doctors in the cataract diagnosis process. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is a type of neural network specifically designed to process image or video data. CNN is a type of deep learning model that can train systems using large amounts of data and integrate the feature extraction process with classification. This study aims to develop and evaluate the performance of a CNN-based cataract detection system as a tool for early diagnosis in cataract patients at RSAW. The CNN model was trained using an eye image dataset consisting of 1120 images of cataract and non-cataract patients. The CNN architecture used was VGG16, chosen for its ability to extract relevant features. The evaluation results show that the system is able to detect cataracts with an accuracy of 96.43%, This system has the potential to increase the efficiency of the screening process and reduce the workload of doctors, thereby improving the quality of eye health services.

Abstract

Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) are community-driven business sectors that have demonstrated significant contributions to economic development. They play a crucial role in providing alternative and productive economic activities. This study focuses on the Department of Industry and Trade of Cilegon City, which faces challenges in collecting data on SMIs across districts, compiling records of supervised enterprises, and monitoring their progress. The objective of this research is to design and develop a Management and Data Collection Application for SMIs in Cilegon City to enhance the efficiency of SMI development activities. The application was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, aligned with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The design process employed an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), specifically a Use Case Diagram. The system is web-based and implemented using the Code Igniter framework, PHP programming language, and a MySQL database.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology plays a vital role in supporting business operations. Effective IT service management is essential for improving work efficiency and employee productivity. PT Concord Consulting Indonesia, an information technology consulting firm, faces challenges in managing internal IT service requests, which are still handled manually through emails, instant messaging applications, and direct communication. This unstructured process leads to several issues, such as difficulties in tracking request statuses, lack of systematic documentation, absence of clear prioritization mechanisms, and unclear task distribution. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for managing IT service requests to support a more organized, well-documented, and transparent process. The implementation of this system is expected to accelerate service resolution, enhance operational efficiency, and improve coordination among teams within the IT Department.
