Abstract

This research is entitled "Politeness of Speech Acts in Acehnese Language Between the Community of Gampong Cot Panyang and the Community of Gampong Pasi Rawa in Kota Sigli District". The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the level of politeness and form of politeness in Acehnese language between the people of Gampong Cot Panyang and the people of Gampong Pasi Rawa in Kota Sigli District? This study aims to determine the level of politeness and the form of the politeness of the Acehnese language between the people of Gampong Cot Panyang and the people of Gampong Pasi Rawa in Kota Sigli District. This study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is descriptive research. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation techniques, while the data analysis techniques were carried out using qualitative descriptive techniques and pragmatic analysis. The results of the study indicate that the speech acts of speech in Acehnese language between the Gampong Cot Panyang community and the Gampong Pasi Rawa community contained in the locutionary speech act are the meanings of informing, asking, and ordering.Keywords : politeness, speech acts, Acehnese language

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru dalam mengidentifikasi struktur batin puisi “Maskumambang” karya Willibrordus Surendra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan pengolahan data dilakukan dengan teknik statistik. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 60 siswa dan ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 20 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa mengidentifikasi struktur batin secara keseluruhan tergolong pada kategori baik, sedangkan peraspeknya ialah tema, perasaan, nada, dan amanat tergolong pada kategori baik namun, suasana tergolong  pada kategori cukup.  Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP 2 Bandar Baru dalam mengidentifikasi struktur batin puisi “Maskumambang” karya Willibrordus Surendra dapat digolongkan pada kategori baik.Kata Kunci : Struktur Batin, Puisi, Maskumambang

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Tingkat Penguasaan Tata Bahasa Baku oleh Guru Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Kabupaten Pidie Jaya”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimanakah Tingkat Penguasaan Tata Bahasa Baku oleh Guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya?” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Tingkat  Penguasaan  Tata  Bahasa  Baku oleh Guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pendalaman materi penguasaan tata bahasa baku pada masyarakat indonesia khususnya guru bahasa indonesia tingkat SMP di kabupaten Pidie Jaya.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru bahasa Indonesia SMP yang ada di Kabupaten Pidie Jaya yang berjumlah 92 guru. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 12 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes. Sedangkan tehnik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mencari persentase(%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat di simpulkan bahwa tingkat penguasaan TBBBI dalam tata bunyi mencapai 66%, tingkat penguasaan TBBBI dalam kata mencapai 70%, tingkat penguasaan TBBBI dalam kalimat mencapai 70%, dan tingkat penguasaan TBBBI dalam tata baku mencapai 66%. Kata Kunci: Tata Bahasa Baku, Guru bahasa Indonesia kabupaten Pidie Jaya

Abstract

This research is entitled The Use of Indonesian in Scientific Work of Middle School Teachers in Pidie Jaya Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the use of Indonesian in scientific work for junior high school teachers in Pidie Jaya Regency?". Based on the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this study is to describe the use of Indonesian in the scientific work of junior high school teachers in Pidie Jaya district. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis type of research. Researchers used reading and note-taking techniques. This is based on the consideration that this technique is considered the most appropriate for the data source, namely the scientific work of a junior high school Indonesian language teacher. Data collection techniques using reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this study are (1) Data Collection, (2) Data Reduction, (3) Data display, (4) Conclusion drawing and verification. The research shows that the data examined in 6 scientific works of teachers in Pidie Jaya district there are 44 errors in the use of standard language consisting of 7 types of errors, namely, errors that are influenced by the regional language there are 2 errors or (4.44%), influenced by foreign terms there are 6 (13.63%) errors, there were 3 (6.81%) errors in the variety of spoken language, 20 (45.45%) errors in the use of diction, 1 (2.27%) ambiguity, 10 (22.72%) errors in pleonasm, and 2 hypercorrections ( 4.54%) errors So, the most common errors found in this study were diction errors, namely 20 (45.44%) errors, and the error that I got the least was ambiguous error 1 (2.27%).Keywords: Indonesian, teacher's scientific work

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the lexical and syntactic errors made by class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya in writing exposition texts. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru Pidie Jaya, totaling 272 students and who would be determined as the sample in this study amounted to 41 students. The data collection technique used in this study is a test analysis technique in the form of interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used in this research is essay which is read data, errors are identified, errors are described, errors are classified, and then the error percentage is calculated. The results of this study indicate that the level of lexical and syntactic errors in class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru is 3.69% for lexical errors and 42.39% for syntactic errors. Therefore, it can be said that class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Baru can already write expository essays well. This can be said to be good based on the results of research in which there are very low category of lexical errors and low category of syntactic errors

Abstract

Pronunciation is one of the most important aspects for learners in studying English. Today, pronunciation tends to be neglected by instructors in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes, especially for vowel sounds. Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is one of the alternative methods in enhancing students’ ability in pronunciation. PRAAT is software used to measure the quality of students’ pronunciation. They were able to enhance their pronunciation practice by using the visual spectrogram. The purpose of this research was to determine the efficacy of employing CALL in pronunciation classes. The numbers of students in this research were 30 Acehnese EFL students. The methodology was quantitative through experimental research. A Word list was used as an instrument to obtain data from the learners. Based on the results, there was a significant improvement after the learning process. The learners had difficulty with five significant mistake sounds: [e], [ei], [i], [e], [e]. They recognized these sounds as monophthongs. This inaccuracy was caused by unfamiliarity with English diphthongs, because these sounds did not found in L1 and L2. After a few repetitions, the students began to use more diphthongal and higher F1 and F2 sounds. Hence, it can be concluded that the CALL had a positive impact in enhancing the student’s ability in pronunciation.

Abstract

Melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang diusulkan untuk meningkatan hasil produksi dan inovasi produk bagi Kelompok Tgk. Muhammad Gade .Target utama dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas Ikan teri menjadi Abonsebagai produk unggulan (2) meningkatkan volume penjualan produk Abon teri ; dan (3) mendukung pelaksanaan dan kelancaran usaha penjemuran Ikan bileh menjadi ikan teri, ikan teri di produksi menjadi Abon pada Kelompok Tgk. Muhammad Gade dari sisi penyiapan permodalan dan pengelolaan keuangan usaha. Kegiatan akan dilaksanakan selama 1 tahun. Sasaran program ini adalah kelompok masyarakat produktif Tgk.Muhammad Gade Gampong Gajah Mate , kecamatan Simpang Tiga , Kabupaten Pidie. 2. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah kurangnya fasilitas teknologi peralatan yang mendukung proses produksi, manajemen pemasaran, manajemen keuangan, dan manajemen kelembagaan. Kegiatan PKM akan dilaksanakan dalam 3 (tiga) tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi kegiatan, pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Bentuk kegiatan meliputi penguatan produksi melalui penataan stok bahan baku, penyediaan alat pembuatan Abon teri bukan mesin, penyediaan sarana display produk, pemasaran produk, kegiatan penguatan kelembagaan dan kegiatan pengembangan SDM Kelompok Usaha Tgk.Muhammad Gade. Program penguatan manajemen kelembagaan, manajemen keuangan, perencanaan usaha yang baik dan efektivitas . Pendampingan akan dilakukan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha Kelompok Usaha Tgk.Muhammad Gade. Pada akhir kegiatan, akan dilakukan evaluasi dan penyusunan rencana pengembangan usaha terwujud kelompok usaha mandiri. Luaran dari kegiatan ini berupa produk Abon teri yang hegienis berkualitas tinggi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai produk unggulan daerah kabupaten pidie dan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal nasional

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the psychological condition and conflict of the main character in the film Hafalan Salah Delisa by Sony Gaokasak. The method used in this research is descriptive. Descriptive methods are used to explain research data. The data source in this research is the film Hafalan Shalat Delisa by Sonu Gaokasak which was released on December 22 2011. The data in the research are texts or sentences that show psychological conditions and psychological conflicts in the film Hafalan Shalat Delisa by Sony Gaokasak. Data collection in this research was through documentation and observation. The data analysis technique is carried out in three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are that the psychology of the main character in the film Hafalan Salah Delisa by Sony Gaokasak is (1) lazy, (2) happy, (3) enthusiastic, (4) frustrated, (5) disappointed, and (6) angry. The factors causing the psychological conflict of the main character in the film Hafalan Shalat Delisa by Sony Gaokasak include: (1) personal factors, (2) biological factors in the form of the environment, and (3) social. The consequences arising from the psychological conflict of the main character in the film Hafalan Salah Delisa by Sony Gaokasak are (1) lazy, (2) happy, (3) enthusiastic, (4) frustrated, (5) disappointed, and (6) angry.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerpen melalui metode latihan terbimbing dengan media teks lagu pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Delima. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas berlangsung dalam alur yang disebut dengan siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Adapun tahapan siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan kegiatan, yaitu tahapan perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan tindakan (action), pengamatan (observation) dan refleksi (reflection). Penelitian PTK ini dirancang dalam dua siklus, di mana setap siklus terdiri dari 2 (dua) pertemuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMA Negeri 2 Delima Kecamatan Delima Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil (selama 2 bulan), mulai Oktober sampai November. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA I SMA Negeri 2 Delima berjumlah 25 orang yang terdiri dari 7 perempuan dan 18 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Hasil tes menulis cerpen pada siklus I dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 65,48 dan sudah mencapai kategori baik. Hasil tes keterampilan menulis cerpen pada siklus II mencapai 76,72 atau berkategori baik. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut hasil tes menulis cerpen siswa kelas X-4 SMA Negeri 2 Sigli sudah mencapai kategori baik dan mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebanyak 11,26 atau sebesar 45,04%. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis cerpen melalui metode latihan terbimbing dengan media teks lagu berhasil.

Abstract

Feature writing is a process of telling an event or topic in an in-depth and interesting way, by combining elements of fact, opinion, and a compelling storytelling style. Feature is different from news because it provides information that is more comprehensive, personalized, and evokes the reader's emotions. Feature contains “more” information than regular news, including things that may be overlooked by the news and may never be “stale” (not actual) like regular news. This training is conducted so that students can write features well. The method used in this community service is to use lectures, questions and answers, and group work by direct guidance. From the participants' good writing results, it can be concluded that students already understand feature writing well. Enthusiasm was also seen when students asked various things in the world of writing features and to the service team during the question and answer session. This is evident after they get the material and are guided and guided directly by lecturers and students so that in the end they are able to write features well that are diverse. With the training provided by the PKM Team, it shows that SMAN 1 Bandar Baru students have been able to write features with a variety of topics. The features writing training given to the students of SMAN 1 Bandar Baru went well.
