Abstract

Village area development planning is closely related to the agricultural sector. The development of superior fruit horticultural commodities can utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This research aims to identify superior annual fruit crop commodities in Tanah Datar Regency and map the production areas of these commodities. This research is quantitative descriptive, where superior products are determined through Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, while production area mapping uses Getis-Ord Gi* Hot Spot analysis at the sub-district level. The results of the analysis show that the leading commodity for fruit crops in Tanah Datar Regency is avocado. The Getis-Ord Gi* Hot Spot analysis shows that the location of the leading area with the highest spatial production value is in Lintau Buo District, with commodities such as star fruit, duku, lemon, longan, mango and pineapple.

Abstract

Green open space is an important component in cities that can provide benefits in reducing the negative effects of urban stress. This is an important aspect for the City of Jakarta to reduce the effects of urban stress by improving the quality of green open spaces represented by satisfying parks. The objectives of this research are (1) Knowing the correlation relationship urban stressor to the response urban stress park visitors. (2) Knowing the influence of the quality of green open space on the response urban stress. (3) Determine priorities for developing green open spaces. This research method uses a quantitative approach by taking park samples using proportional sampling with a total sample of 22 parks and a sample of respondents using the linear time function method with a total of 330 park visitors. Data were collected using a questionnaire which was analyzed using the importance performance analysis method and multiple linear regression analysis which was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. To determine priorities for developing green open spaces using spatial analysis using vegetation density, comfort index, and population density which was done by overlapping scoring. (overlay) with ArcGIS 10.8 software. The results of this research found that there was a correlation between several urban stressor variables and the urban stress response variable with a significance value of <0.05 with the highest correlation in the sufficient category, which indicates that the higher the urban stressor, the emotional response and behavioral response will increase. This research shows that there is an influence between the park satisfaction variable on the urban stress response variable with the following regression equation: (1) Ycognitive = 7.462 + 0.044 X1(uses & Activities) + 0.042 X4(Sociability); (2) Yemotion = 13.558 + 0.053 X1(uses & Activities) + 0.040 X2(Access & Linkages) + 0.036 and (3) Ybehavior = 10.010 + 0.041 X4(Sociability) + 0.035 X1(uses & Activities) + 0.031 X3(comfort & image). From the results of the spatial analysis, the highest category area is 52,510.69 ha, which is the second priority for developing green open space.

Abstract

Padang City is one of the cities in West Sumatra which has a coastline with a coastline of 68 km. The coast of Padang City is a special interest tourist area in West Sumatra Province. This research aims to determine the approximate zoning of coastal tourist areas using geotagging photo data and determine the range of visibility using viewshed modeling. Zoning is carried out using the Kernel Density method. Kernel Density divides zones through the density of geotagging photo coordinate point data. In this research, the geotagging photo data used is photos that capture coastal views in the city of Padang. The viewshed is carried out towards the mainland because it has topographic diversity. This type of research is qualitative research. The data used is secondary data obtained through the Ina-Geoportal agency. The results of the research showed that there are 6 core zones of coastal tourist areas that are usually visited by tourists in Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The tourist beach area has a viewshed area ranging from 0.174 km2 to 4,569 km2.

Abstract

This research has purpose to find out what types of mangroves and factors affect the distribution of mangroves in Sungai Pisang, Bungus Teluk Kabung District, Padang City. The research method used is quantitative research. The data used is primary data such as drone imagery. The results of this research produced seven types of mangroves and factors the distribution of mangrove types. The types of mangroves found were Rizhophora apiculate, Oncomsperma tigillarium, Ceriops tagal, Bruguiera gymnorhiza, Hibiscus tiliaceus, Acrostichum aureum linn, Sonneratia alba. Meanwhile, there are three factors that influence the distribution of mangroves, namely Substrate, Salinity and Soil Texture. The dominant substrates are muddy and sandy substrates, the lowest salinity is 12ppt and the highest is 30ppt, while the dominant soil textures are clay, clay and sandy.

Abstract

This research is related to assessing the reasonableness of the area of green open space (RTH) towards the development strategy of Pariaman City as stated in the Regional Regulation (Perda) of the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) of Pariaman City for 2010-2030, namely 30% and aims to, 1) Find out distribution and extent of availability of green open space (RTH) in Pariaman City. 2) Knowing the suitability between green open space (RTH) and Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW). This research is a quantitative exploration using spatial methodology. Using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) identification method, the analysis used focuses on the distribution of green vegetation throughout Pariaman City. The vegetation distribution obtained was overlaid with shapefile data (SHP) obtained from the digitization of the Regional Regulations (Perda) of the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) of Pariaman City for 2010-2030, so that the area, distribution and suitability are known. The results of identifying 3946.09 Ha of green open space (RTH) from 4118.76 Ha which were planned in detail, namely; City Park RTH, planned area 3214.16 Ha and area in the field 3087.12 Ha, City Forest RTH, planned area 174.8 Ha and area in the field 174.23 Ha, Cemetery Open Space, planned area 4.72 Ha and area in field 4.67 Ha, RTH Road Route, planned area 504.14 Ha and area in the field 472.53 Ha and RTH Tourism Area, planned area 220.94 Ha and area in the field 207.54 Ha. The percentage of Pariaman City's green open space to the area is 59.57% and has fulfilled the provisions of the RTRW Regional Regulation, namely a minimum green open space of 30%.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kerentanan, ancaman dan kapasitas bencana banjir Kota Bukittinggi dan mengetahui resiko bencana banjir. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif yang dianalisis berdasarkan skoring untuk mendapatkan data ancaman banjir dengan penggabungan empat variabel yaitu curah hujan, kelerengan, jenis tanah dan tutupan lahan. Parameter untuk kerentanan bencana yaitu overlay peta dasar parameter kerentanan sosial, kerentanan fisik, kerentanan ekonomi dan kerentanan lingkungan serta analisis kapasitas bencana dimana setiap variabel memiliki kriteria nilai kelas yang berbeda. Selanjutnya pengolahan analisis kawasan beresiko bencana menggunakan matriks VCA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ancaman bencana banjir tergolong rendah luas ancaman 2164,22 Ha. Tingkat kerentanan terdapat 14 kelurahan dengan kerentanan rendah 0,5384 – 0,6059. Sedangkan terdapat 8 kelurahan dengan tingkat kerentanan sedang 0,6060 – 0,7409, dan tingkat kerentanan tinggi terdapat 2 Kelurahan. Kapasitas bencana rendah 7 kelurahan dan 1 kelurahan dengan kapasitas sedang. Kota Bukittinggi memiliki 12 kelurahan dengan resiko bencana rendah dan 12 kelurahan dengan resiko bencana sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui klasifikasi kemampuan pengembangan lahan untuk permukiman Kecamatan Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok, dan Mengetahui Daya Dukung Lahan Permukiman di Kecamatan Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok. Dalam konteks aspek keruangan, pemilihan lokasi permukiman yang tepat sangat penting karena akan menentukan keawetan bangunan, nilai ekonomi, dan dampak permukiman terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan mengolah data berdasarkan nilai dan bobot sebelum dioverlay dengan RTRW untuk mengukur kemampuan pengembangan lahan. Dalam penelitian ini, dihasilkan 5 kelas kemampuan pengembangan lahan dengan rasio tutupan lahan yang melebihi standar pada kelas A dan B yaitu 0,59% sedangkan untuk daya dukung lahan diperoleh nilai 26,6 dengan kategori mencukupi penduduk untuk bermukim.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of potential landslide vulnerability and the suitability of residential land in spatial patterns for landslide vulnerability in Padang Panjang City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data analysis techniques used are scoring and overlay. The results of the study show, 1) Landslide potential areas in Padang Panjang City are dominated by high vulnerability with an area of 954.39 ha, then landslide vulnerability with a medium class of 671.16 ha, low landslide vulnerability class of 402.37 ha, and very high landslide vulnerability areas of 68.85 ha. Then seen from the residential land that is at a low vulnerability level of 390.55 ha, residential land that is at a medium vulnerability level of 52.97 ha, and residential land that is at a high vulnerability level of 0.99 ha. 2) Residential land in the spatial pattern at a low level of vulnerability is 295.47 ha, residential land in the spatial pattern at a medium level of vulnerability is 190.66 ha, residential land in the spatial pattern at a high level of vulnerability is 278.37 ha, and residential land in the spatial pattern at a very high level of vulnerability is 14.24 ha. Based on these data, it can be concluded that most of Padang Panjang City is dominated by areas with high and medium landslide potential.

Abstract

Waste is one form of waste found in the environment. Its source, form, type and composition are strongly influenced by the level of community culture and natural conditions. This study aims to determine community behavior and factors that influence community behavior in waste management in Padang Panjang City. This study used descriptive methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches, primary data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaire. The population in this study were people in Padang Panjang City, 100 respondents were selected to be research informants. The results showed that the community had “Very Good” waste management behavior. Factors that influence behavior, 1) Public knowledge about waste management is “High”. The general behavior of the community in waste management, namely by managing waste at home such as making unique, interesting crafts, and making eco enzyme, disposing of waste to the nearest TPS and burning waste. 2) Waste management facilities and infrastructure are categorized as “High” in 6 urban villages, while the other 10 are “Medium”. Facilities and infrastructure owned or provided by the community and government in Padang Panjang City are in the form of waste collection containers made of wood, cemented TPS, iron to attach garbage, drums or trash cans. 3) Government policy in Mayor Regulation No. 29/2018 encourages community involvement in waste management through education and information. Counseling activities in Padang Panjang City are attended by the community. Several communities and waste bank managers were awarded certificates for their involvement as inspirational figures in waste management.

Abstract

The increasing amount of waste in urban areas, including in Nanggalo Sub-district, Padang City, poses a major challenge in its management. This study aims to analyze the distribution routes of waste collection vehicles and the capacity of temporary disposal sites (TPS) in the area. The research used a quantitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of field observations, literature studies, and documentation. The analysis was conducted using GIS software for mapping waste distribution routes and calculating TPS capacity. The results showed that the routes of waste collection vehicles only cover the main roads, with the capacity of TPS in Nanggalo Sub-district being able to handle only 32% of the total daily waste generation of 30.01 tons. The low waste management carrying capacity index (0.32) reflects the poor waste management in this area. Therefore, additional polling stations, expansion of waste transportation routes, and community education are needed to support better waste management in accordance with Padang City Regional Regulation No. 21/2012.
