Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools faces persistent challenges including low reading interest, writing difficulties, and monotonous conventional methods, necessitating innovative pedagogical interventions. This systematic literature review examines trends, contributions, and research gaps in problem-based learning (PBL)-based interactive media development for elementary Indonesian language learning during 2020-2025. Following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, four academic databases (Google Scholar, SINTA, Semantic Scholar, ERIC) were systematically searched, yielding 200 initial articles. Through rigorous four-stage screening applying PICOS framework criteria, 30 articles from nationally accredited (SINTA 1-3) and international (Scopus/ERIC-indexed) journals were selected for thematic content analysis.  Analysis revealed progressive evolution from simple digital tools (Wordwall, Kahoot) toward sophisticated multimodal environments (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality). Ninety percent of studies reported significant improvements in literacy competencies, particularly writing skills (40%) and reading comprehension (30%). ADDIE and 4D development models predominated (66.7%), demonstrating superior methodological rigor. Three distinct research clusters emerged: basic literacy development (2020-2021), critical and digital literacy (2022-2023), and creativity with technological adaptation (2024-2025).  PBL-based interactive media integration effectively operationalizes constructivist learning principles, substantially enhancing student engagement and 21st-century literacy competencies. However, persistent infrastructure limitations, inadequate teacher TPACK competencies, and underrepresentation of speaking skill development constrain optimal implementation, requiring comprehensive policy support and sustained professional development interventions.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di UMKM Tahu Siip Pariyem Desa Sumurrejo, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Proses produksi tahu menghasilkan limbah cair dan limbah padat yang dapat mencemari lingkungan serta dapat menimbulkan bau tidak sedap jika tidak segera diolah atau dibuang dengan benar. Masyarakat Desa Sumurrejo biasanya memanfaatkan ampas tahu hanya sebagai pakan ternak. Walaupun sudah menjadi sisa produksi tahu, ampas tahu masih memiliki kandungan protein, karbohidrat, dan serat yang cukup tinggi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengolah limbah padat tahu menjadi nugget bergizi dengan penambahan ekstrak daun kelor. Daun kelor kaya akan protein, vitamin, dan mineral yang penting untuk kesehatan. Melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan, mitra UMKM diberi edukasi tentang pengolahan limbah tahu menjadi nugget bergizi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mitra dalam mengolah limbah padat tahu, serta peningkatan nilai gizi nugget yang dihasilkan. Uji organoleptik menunjukkan penerimaan yang baik dari masyarakat terhadap nugget berbasis limbah tahu dengan tambahan ekstrak daun kelor. Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi atas masalah limbah industri tahu dan meningkatkan perekonomian UMKM Tahu Siip Pariyem.

Abstract

Well service operations in the oil and gas industry utilize sweep fluids based on xanthan gum (XCD), which generate high-viscosity waste with the potential to cause environmental pollution. Due to its natural polymer characteristics, XCD waste has significant potential to be utilized as a raw material for biodegradable bioplastic production. This study aims to synthesize and characterize biodegradable bioplastics derived from XCD waste generated from Hi-Vis sweep operations during well service activities in Bunyu Field. The bioplastics were prepared using the solution casting method with variations in XCD concentration (1.0–2.0%), plasticizer type (glycerol and sorbitol), and plasticizer concentration (20–40%). The resulting bioplastics were characterized through film thickness, water absorption, and biodegradation rate tests. The experimental data were further analyzed using Response Surface Methodology (RSM) based on a Central Composite Design (CCD).The results showed that increasing plasticizer concentration enhanced both water absorption capacity and film flexibility. Bioplastics plasticized with glycerol exhibited a higher biodegradation rate compared to those containing sorbitol. These findings demonstrate that XCD waste from Hi-Vis sweep operations can be effectively valorized as an environmentally friendly raw material for biodegradable bioplastic production.

Abstract

Community service is a program designed to enhance community knowledge and skills in processing catfish aquaculture wastewater into liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) by utilizing pond wastewater and shrimp shell soaking water. This program includes field observation, socialization, demonstrations of liquid organic fertilizer production, and community assistance during the fermentation process, as well as the environmentally friendly utilization of organic waste. The program is intended to increase public awareness that catfish farming wastewater and shrimp shell waste have the potential to be utilized as raw materials for liquid organic fertilizer, thereby supporting the implementation of a circular economy within the community. The objective of this community service activity is to improve community knowledge, skills, and awareness in managing organic waste into value-added products while reducing environmental pollution. The method employed is technology transfer using a participatory approach, consisting of observation, socialization, demonstration, and evaluation stages. The results showed that participants gained a better understanding of the liquid organic fertilizer production process, acquired practical skills in converting aquaculture waste into alternative fertilizer, and developed greater awareness of the importance of sustainable waste management. This community service program is expected to promote community self-reliance in utilizing organic waste, increase its economic value, and support environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Desa Tugurejo di Semarang memiliki potensi rumput laut yang melimpah dan belum dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat secara optimal, maka diperlukan langkah strategis dalam pengembangan pemanfaatannya. Ketersediaan tambak di wilayah ini mencapai sekitar 535 hektar, dengan mayoritas digunakan untuk budidaya ikan dan udang. Selain itu, terdapat tambak yang dimanfaatkan oleh petani untuk budidaya rumput laut dengan hasil produksi rata-rata 2-3 ton per hektar dalam satu masa panen. Masalah pada Sea Farm yaitu penurunan kualitas dan stabilitas hasil produksi rumput laut terutama saat musim hujan dengan kandungan kadar air pada rumput laut hingga 30-40%, petani rumput laut terkendala dalam pengelolaan usaha seperti manajemen usaha, produksi, dan pemasaran. Solusi yang dapat di aplikasikan yaitu advanced technology in seaweed drying berbasis IoT, serta penerapan pengelolaan usaha dengan melakukan manajemen usaha, produksi, dan pemasaran. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kuantitas hasil rumput laut dan penggunaan teknologi alat pengering otomatis sehingga meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani serta masyarakat Kelurahan Tugurejo pada umumnya. Metode yang akan dilakukan meliputi koordinasi tim dengan mitra PKM, konstruksi alat advanced technology in seaweed drying berbasis IoT, Praktik penggunaan alat drying, Sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan alat kepada mitra, kemudian yang terakhir yaitu evaluasi pelaksanaan dan keberlanjutan program di lapangan.
