Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of understanding of media literacy Unnes PGSD students , particularly on understanding the character -based literacy education and the impact of literacy for students . This study was conducted di PGSD Unnes Semarang in the second half of the school year 2013/2014 on subjects Indonesian Language Skills and compose SD . The results showed an increased understanding of literacy and its impact on students. It can facts with productivity generated by the students during the lectures. Understanding students on media literacy shown by the average scores obtained in the early stages 64 with both categories . The increase in scores occurred after the implementation of the action with an average score of 84 was very good category . The conclusions of this research is the understanding of media literacy can affect the development of the character of the students in the lecture .

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa dan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jawa kelas II SDN Karanganyar 02 Semarang.Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam  dua siklus dengan 4 pertemuan. Penelitian terdiri atas  4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II SDN Karanganyar 02 Semarang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, catatan lapangan, tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan guru mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I keterampilan guru mendapatkan skor 25,5, rata-rata skor 2,55 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik, sedangkan pada siklus II mendapat skor 33, rata-rata skor 3,3 yang termasuk dalam kategori  baik. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas siswa. Pada siklus I aktivitas siswa mendapat skor 17,45, rata-rata skor 2,5 yang termasuk kategori baik, sedangkan pada siklus II mendapatkan skor 19, rata-rata skor 2,7 yang termasuk dalam kategori  baik. Persentase ketuntasan keterampilan berbicara siswa  pada siklus I adalah 54%  kategori cukup mengalami peningkatan  pada siklus II menjadi 73% kategori baik.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model Picture and Picture dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa dan  keterampilan berbicara krama lugu siswa kelas II SDN Karanganyar 02 Semarang. Dengan diterapkannya model Picture and Picture dalam pembelajaran,  keterampilan berbicara siswa akan mengalami peningkatan sehingga siswa bisa menggunakan bahasa Jawa dengan baik.  Purpose of this research is to improve the skills of teachers, student activities and speaking skills of students in learning the Java language class II SDN Karanganyar 02 Semarang.The experiment was conducted in two cycles with 4 meeting. The research consists of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were second grade students of SDN 02 Karanganyar Semarang. Data was collected through observation, field notes, test, documentation, and interviews.The results showed that the skills of teachers has increased. In the first cycle skills teachers get score 25.5, an average score of 2.55 were included in both categories, while in the second cycle got a score of 33, an average score of 3.3 which is included in both categories. Increase also occurred in student activities. In the first cycle activity students got a score of 17.45, the average score of 2.5 which includes both categories, while in the second cycle to get a score of 19, an average score of 2.7 which is included in both categories. Percentage of completeness speaking skills of students in the first cycle was 54% category is quite an increase in the second cycle to 73% categories.Conclusions This study is a model Picture and Picture can improve the skills of teachers, student activities and speaking skills innocent manners grade II SDN Karanganyar 02 Semarang. With the implementation of the model Picture and Picture in learning, students' speaking skills will be increased so that students could use the Java language properly.

Abstract

The implementation of Picture Crossword Puzzle (MCP-G) media model is an alternative to making it easier for teachers to deliver durring pandemic COVID-19. MCP-B can create a more pleasant learning atmosphere and foster active student participation. This study aims to produce learning media products that can support thematic motivation and learning outcomes for fourth-grade students of MI. Product development refers to ADDIE design. The products developed are lesson plans, worksheets, learning media and motivational instruments and learning outcomes tests. The product development stages start from the initial-late analysis, student analysis, material analysis, task analysis, learning objectives analysis, method selection, format selection, expert validity, limited trials, field trials and revisions. The research data was sourced from expert validation sheets, student motivation observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets in managing learning from the practical side and implementation of MCP-G learning media. The results show that the MCP-B model is feasible and effective to use in supporting motivation and thematic learning outcomes with the theme: "the beauty of diversity". The selection of good and appropriate learning media can make it easier for students to absorb the material presented by the teacher. This condition indicates that the learning media is very influential on learning outcomes according to educational goals. In line with that, this research can be used as an insight for teachers in developing fun and effective learning media, especially in the era of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the relationship between teacher performance and classroom environment on student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning. This study was carried out using an ex post facto quantitative approach at a primary school in Semarang Regency, Indonesia. The sample of this research consisted of 172 students enrolled by random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and regression analysis. The Results indicate that teacher performance had a significant influence on student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning, and the classroom environment had a significant influence on student attitudes toward the Indonesian language. Teacher performance and classroom environment may be substantial factors in student attitudes toward Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

Based on research data conducted at SD Negeri 04 panggang, Jepara Regency. There are problems in Indonesian language learning related to the low language skills of students in reading aloud skills, as well as the lack of variety in the teaching media used. Based on these problems, this research aims to develop, test the feasibility, and test the effectiveness of Edubuddy media using Ren'py. Ren'py is a free game creation engine where creators can make visual novel genre games. This research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE development paradigm. The subjects of this study were 29 grade II students, grade II teachers, and a team of experts (media, material, and learning practitioners). The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques were feasibility analysis, teacher and student responses, t-test and N-Gain. The results showed that Edubuddy media was very feasible with a percentage of material expert assessment of 86.6%, media experts of 82.8%, learning practitioners of 89.4%, teachers and students of 98.6% and 100%. The effectiveness of the product uses sig (2-tailed) with a p value of 0.00 <0.05, there is a difference in pre-test, post-test results. The N-Gain test is 0.37 with moderate criteria, there is an increase in the average pre-test, post-test. Therefore, Edubuddy media is effective, efficient and feasible to use in learning because it can improve the reading skills of grade II elementary school students.

Abstract

Penilitian ini menginvestasi permasalahan dalam pemahaman dan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada mahasiswa di Universitas Negeri Semarang, khususnya terkait dengan penggunaan PUEBI. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, pertanyaan dari penelitian ini dijawab melalui angket yang disebarkan secara online (google formulir) dan dibagikan kepada 50 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang. Data dianalisis menggunakan PUEBI dengan hasil (1) responden menjawab benar sebesar 98% untuk soal nomor 1, (2) rata-rata responden menjawab benar sebesar 90% untuk soal nomor 2, (3) responden menjawab benar sebesar 92% untuk soal nomor 3, (4) untuk soal nomor 4 sebesar 96% jawaban benar, (5) sebesar 92% responden menjawab benar, (6) untuk soal nomor 5 sebesar 96% reponden menjawab benar, (7) rata-rata responden menjawab benar sebesar 52% pada soal nomor 7, (8) sebesar 96% responden menjawab benar pada soal nomor 8, (9) rata-rata sebesar 88% responden menjawab benar pada soal nomor 9, (10) pada soal nomor 10 sebesar 92% responden menjawab dengan benar.

Abstract

Writing is an important skill that everyone must master. Good writing will make it easier for readers to understand the meaning of the article. However, there are still many people who make mistakes in writing, including middle school and high school/vocational school students. This research aims to analyze writing errors in student study tour reports at SMP Negeri 1 Semarang and SMK Cor Jesu Malang. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the research show that there are several writing errors that often occur in study tour reports for middle school and high school/vocational school students, namely errors in the use of capital letters, errors in the use of non-standard words, errors in the use of punctuation marks, and errors in the use of inappropriate words. Abstract

The research aims to analyze the listening skills of elementary school (SD) children in comprehending dialogue in news and instructions. It covers the ability to understand and respond to messages conveyed, including news dialogues and instructions for elementary school children. The research approach used is "Library Study,"one of the qualitative research methods, where the study is conducted in the library through the collection of books, documents, archives, and other materials. The article writing technique utilizes the IMRAD method. The research results indicate the importance of understanding the Indonesian language. In comprehending dialogue, the focus is on understanding vocabulary, context, and emotional nuances. In listening to news, children need to recognize the main information, understand facts, and the structure of the news. Comprehending instructions requires language understanding, time sequence, and instruction processing. Both extensive and intensive listening play a role in developing the listening skills of elementary school children. A holistic learning approach involving direct interaction and practical exercises helps children develop listening skills. The role of teachers, parents, and the learning environment supports the effective formation of language understanding in elementary school children.
