Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze effective methods in improving Qur'anic memorization abilities. Using a qualitative approach with case study methodology, the research was conducted in three tahfidz Islamic boarding schools in Central Java, involving 60 students and 12 tahfidz teachers as respondents. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation over six months. The results revealed five effective steps in enhancing memorization ability: (1) implementation of the talaqqi method with systematic repetition, (2) utilization of mushaf visualization techniques for spatial memory reinforcement, (3) implementation of structured schedules with optimal time distribution between memorization and muraja'ah, (4) utilization of audio-visual technology as memorization aids, and (5) formation of peer-teaching study groups. The memorization success rate increased by 40% after implementing these methods, with retention reaching 85% in the three-month post-implementation evaluation. This research contributes to the development of more effective Qur'anic memorization learning methodologies that are adaptive to modern learning needs.

Abstract

Lack of students' skills in writing and speaking when learning Indonesian. The reciprocal teaching model is an alternative to increase students' effectiveness in writing and speaking in more optimal Indonesian language learning. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning by implementing the reciprocal teaching model. The research was carried out using a quasi-experimental design with descriptive analysis techniques, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The research location was carried out at SD Hj. Isriati Moenadi Ungaran, Semarang with the research sample involving 36 students of class V Imam Bonjol as the experimental class and 36 students of V Kartini as the control class. The average score for speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for experimental class students, which was initially 53.58 after treatment using the reciprocal teaching model, increased to 85.69. The results of the paired sample t test also showed a significance value (Sig.) of 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the results of this research, it proves that there has been an increase in speaking skills in Indonesian language learning, and it can be said that the reciprocal teaching model is effective in improving speaking skills in Indonesian language learning for fifth grade students at Hj Elementary School. Abstract

The low reading interest of school-age children in West Pasaman Regency presents a serious challenge to the development of education and a culture of literacy. This community service program aims to develop innovative management of Community Reading Parks (TBM) as a strategy to improve children's literacy. The background of the activity is based on the fact that most TBMs in this region are not optimally managed, lack innovation, and lack engaging activities for children. The implementation method uses a participatory approach involving TBM managers, teachers, parents, and literacy volunteers. Activities include TBM management training, the provision of creative reading corners, the development of educational game-based literacy programs, and regular mentoring for children. Innovations implemented include storytelling corners, weekly reading clubs, and the integration of simple digital media to attract the interest of the younger generation. The results of the activity show an increase in children's enthusiasm in utilizing TBMs, marked by an increase in the number of daily visits and active involvement in literacy activities. Furthermore, the capacity of TBM managers to design sustainable programs has increased. This program demonstrates that innovative TBM management can be an effective strategy in fostering a culture of literacy among school-age children in West Pasaman.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of students' conceptual understanding ability. This study aims to determine the Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model assisted by the Reading Diorama Room Media (BIDIBA) on Students' Concept Understanding Ability. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-experimental design in the form of the nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample of this study was class III A and B of Sidomulyo 04 Public Elementary School. Data collection techniques in this study are test techniques (pre-test and post-test) and non-test (observation, questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation). The data analysis techniques are normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a difference in the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media on students' conceptual understanding abilities, this can be proven by the results of the independent test until the t test with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; and (2) There is an influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media on students' conceptual understanding abilities, this can be proven by the results of the linear regression test with a significance value of 0.008 <0.05 Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of this study can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Bilik Diorama Baca (BIDIBA) media has an effect on students' conceptual understanding abilities in grade III. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media on students' narrative text writing skills. The problem faced is the low narrative text writing skills of students in the learning process. This study used a quantitative approach with the population being all students of SDN Ungaran 01, while the samples were students of classes IV A and IV B of SDN Ungaran 01. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-test and regression tests. The results showed: (1) There was a significant difference between the experimental class using the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media and the control class using the Concept Sentence cooperative model without Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the independent sample t-test. (2) There was an effect of the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media on students' narrative text writing skills, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 based on the regression test. The conclusion of this study is that the Concept Sentence cooperative model assisted by Bianglala Pop Up Edukasi (BPUPKI) media is effective in improving students' narrative text writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of cooperative script learning model assisted by picture balloon ride media on students reading aloud skills. The problem faced is the low reading aloud skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a population of all second-grade students of SD N Bandungan 01, while the sample is students of class II A and II B SD N Bandungan 01. Data analysis was carried out through normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests and regression tests. The results of the study show: (1) There is a significant difference between the experimental class using cooperative script learning model assisted by picture balloon ride media and the control class using cooperative script model without picture balloon ride media, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 based on the independent t-test. (2) There is an effect of cooperative script learning model assisted by picture balloon ride media on students reading aloud skills, with a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05 based on the regression test. The conclusion of this study is that the cooperative script learning model assisted by picture balloon ride media is effective in improving students reading aloud skills.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low level of students’ speaking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the Paired Storytelling model assisted by the Running Story Box (Rusbox) media on students’ speaking skills. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a pretest–posttest design with random sampling. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The research samples were students of classes VB and VC at SD Negeri Ungaran 01. The data collection techniques in this study included test techniques (pretest and posttest) and non-test techniques (observation, questionnaires, structured interviews, and documentation). The data analysis techniques consisted of a normality test, homogeneity test, independent samples t-test, and simple linear regression test. The results of the study indicate that: (1) there is a difference in students’ speaking skills between those taught using the Paired Storytelling model assisted by the Running Story Box (Rusbox) media and those who were not, as evidenced by the results of the independent samples t-test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted; and (2) there is an effect of the Paired Storytelling model assisted by the Running Story Box (Rusbox) media on students’ speaking skills, as evidenced by the results of the simple linear regression test with a significance value of 0.037 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the Paired Storytelling model assisted by the Running Story Box (Rusbox) media has a significant effect on the speaking skills of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Interest in learning is a crucial element that influences students' success in the learning process at the elementary school level. However, initial research at Gedanganak 03 Public Elementary School indicates that the learning interest of second-grade students is still relatively low. The causes include the application of more conventional teaching methods, a lack of variety in learning models and media, as well as insufficient active student participation in the learning process. Therefore, innovative learning approaches are needed to create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model of Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) supported by Spin Neptune media on students' learning interest, as well as to identify the differences and improvements in students' learning interest before and after the implementation of this model. The study applies a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research includes all students of Gedanganak 03 Public Elementary School, while the sample consists of second-grade students from classes II A and II B. Data collection is conducted using a learning interest questionnaire, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data processing involves validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Pohon Bupin (Smart Fruit Tree) media on the learning interest of third-grade students at SD Negeri Gedanganak 03. The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The research population was all third-grade students, with a sample of class III B as the experimental group receiving the TGT model treatment assisted by Pohon Bupin, and class III A as the control group using the TGT model without media. Data collection instruments included questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Data analysis employed normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results showed: (1) there was a significant difference in learning interest between the experimental and control classes (sig. 0.000 < 0.05); (2) the TGT learning model assisted by Pohon Bupin had a positive effect on students' learning interest (sig. 0.044 < 0.05) with a contribution of 8.2%. Observations also indicated an increase in learning interest in the experimental class with an average of 60% (good) compared to the control class at 57% (good). The conclusion of this study is that the TGT model assisted by Pohon Bupin media is effective in enhancing students' learning interest. It is recommended that teachers implement this model to create more interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.
